I have one, in walnut. It's my understanding they all came from a single run of exotic woods. They gave me a list of four or five woods to choose from. In stock. Mine didn't match the then current production in small details, IMO it was 'old stock'.

They all seem to have the same, unique serial numbers in the format "LE-nn-nn" which I take to be 'limited edition' followed by two numbers (probably species type??)

Send them an email, a nice lady responds almost immediately. A while back I almost bought a fancy grain maple one (no walnut left at that time IIRC) but ended up spending the money on another vape......

Thanks. :)

What does that mean?
I just picked up a power adapter and I am wondering what the best setting to use is on the dial? Is it okay to leave it in for 10-15 seconds like the normal batteries? I'm just trying to figure out the best possible way to use this new device

Two ways have been suggested, I've tried both and suggest the latter. First set it to mid range (count 'clicks' from end to end, divide by two) and fish from there. Or put a fresh battery in, note the light, then match that with the PA and fish from there.

Yes, I use mine like a battery and suspect most guys do. 10 or 15 seconds is just fine.

Enjoy it, it's a great improvement IMO if you have mains near by.

Long time happy owner of an LB. Need a new stem. Wanted just the little short stub stem that came with it. Went to the web site and saw that they have a wooden stem, acrylic stem and glass stem. Can anyone tell me how long each of those are? And if the little short stubby stem is still available and how much for one?
Thankee.

I didnt realize that the exotic LB's were so few, is this the case? I knew there were a few other flavors out there and had some pics posted, does anyone know what the # of the run was on these exotics? A few hundred or a few 1000? Just curious how many was made.

Hi Ed,

Exotic wood units are rather rare -- fewer than 100 were made altogether, and they are collector items. We did a handful of short runs of various woods as an experiment -- as much to check the calibration and stability of our tools as for any other reason. The are marked with a LE series numbering. Of the few that are left, we occasionally release one for special occasions. It is our plan to do additional runs of additional special woods in the spring. Please check back with us around March for more info regarding these.

Vicki I have a KOA LB, its totally the shit! This what MF told me back in Dec., maybe this will help!

Moe, the acrylic and glass stems are around 3" long. The wooden stems are a tad shorter. MF no longer sells the short stems, but you can get two if you buy the whip since they have one at each end of the silicone tube.

I just received my new Magic-Flight Launch Box about an hour ago. I cannot urge you enough to buy this product!!!!! Im a college student and originally owned an iOlite for about 6 months and then it stopped igniting, which was very frustrating and i had no warranty. So i decided to try the mflb after reading some reviews and the whole experience blew me away. I ordered it on Thursday night and had it here by this Monday afternoon. I was shipped quickly and discreetly. I opened it and found the receipt in the box with a note from an employee "Thank you Michael! Have a great day & enjoy your Magic Flight !! :) <3" It was so refreshing to see happy, personal, caring customer service. And the launch box absolutely amazed me. Infinitely more efficient, stealthy, quick and easy than the iOlite or combustion. Best purchase i have ever made. Thank you Magic-Flight,
Your (Extremely) Satisfied Customer

I've got a walnut one from the limited run as well. I currently have it up for sale because I want to try other vapes. The MFLBs I've had worked fine for years but suddenly my throat is more sensitive and I need to be extra picky about the vapes I use. The MFLB works, I tested it today, but I end up having issues using a vape with such a short vapor path. I need to sacrifice portability big time I guess.

Hi, I haven't cleaned my stem or whip in a long while and they have some nice buildup. There are fibers in the resin so I don't want to smoke it, does anyone know of any videos on how to harvest this goodness?

hey vaporists (can't say fellow... so far my only vape has been a lightbulb :( )
i have been doing a lot of research on vapes and have narrowed it down to the mflb and solo (leaning towards mflb for shear badassary) but thats not the point =p. in my readings i stumble across someone who thinks he knows how to use keif/oils/hash ect. his suggestion was to put it in a bit of rolling paper. seems somewhat viable, can anyone test this (if they have a spare mflb don't want ur only one 2 get fucked if i have been mislead).

my theories on the matter:
i don't think it will be all that tasty (cuz of the paper)
i can't remember the flash point of paper but i don't think it will burn, prob brown a bit

'facts' to be confirmed
i think he said to wrap it up in the paper but i think this might be counterproductive because u would have to burn through the paper to get to the goodies
can't remember any others tbh lol

for those of u that may try it i would suggest making a bowl sort of deal with the paper and putting it on top and getting it as thin as possible (the oil/hash) but tbh I'm fairly new to vaping and don't have a lot of 1st hand knowledge

sorry for the long post lol
NB if this is verified to be true i will get mflb hands down lol

Bon Dog, I just put regular kief in my box, it works just fine! I've never had the pleasure of trying hash.

Although it does stain the screen a bit:

Well if I vape hash (that extracted from vape) in MFLB every drop leaves a little carbon on the screen. And that fades SLOOOOWLY. I've done it twice and it has taken weeks to recover.

Thanks Mom! I wonder why they quit selling the stubby ones by themselves? Guess there wasn't much profit in them but they came in handy for connecting one's own tubing. I have tons of tubing, hate to buy more just for 2 little stems.

Hey guys and girls - I just bought 2 new Eneloops and it was a pain cutting off the top half of the wrapping and using that orange stuff to get the sticky stuff off...
... but man it was worth it! Those new Eneloops kick ass! I get a better hit and quicker! I now buy only Eneloops for rechargeables. Amazon has them 4 for $12, more or less.

Moe, I think MF stops selling them because they were a choking hazard. Some people have gotten a standard size acrylic stem and cut it. There is also the option of getting a short wooden stem from Ed here. They come in all kinds of beautiful wood and I recommend them highly. Plus, if you have a specific length in mind, you could shoot him an email and I'm sure he would work with you.

Vito, I'm sure you faked that video because we've been told here many times that LB hits are weak and wispy, and you can't get clouds out of one. :suspicious:

Where were you hiding the smoke?
