. Matter of fact, the two Chechen blanks (1 Nano & 1 Underdog) with those features and voids are probably the only two to exist on Earth - seriously! I have submitted several inquiries into obtaining more, but so far no luck. The unique voids that occurred throughout these Chechen blanks were the freak result of the kiln-drying process.

I will do my best to find some more Chechen Burl with the voids that we so love. I have been getting many many PM requests for wood blanks that have these uniquely beautiful voids in them, but must remind everyone that voids are a hit-and-miss luck of the draw proposition. Sometimes they are evident on the surface of the blank, and sometimes they emerge by surprise when the blank is turned - it's pure luck when present in the end result. I am negotiating now with one of my best suppliers for some more Big Leaf maple Burl and Afzelia Burl blanks with these unique "birth mark" voids for you. Keeping my fingers crossed!!! Stay tuned
