Melting Pot

Sick & Twisted
Something I've been tinkering with I thought I would share it with you.
I'm sure you noticed the cord that plugs into the Nano is a standard fitting that a lot of cords have.
my ps3 has the cord.
anyways a lot of houses have a light switch that operate a receptacle.
I replaced that switch with a dimmer and replaced my power cord with my ps3 cord now I just adjust my temperature at the dimmer switch on the wall.
Granted I am a disabled electrician.
Too much time on my hands.

I'm going to have power points all over the house!!!

After extensive testing I still love my nano. I am less in love with the cord. It took probably close to a dozen falls before I finally broke the straight glass tube.

so while I wait for the replacements to come in I broke out the 14mm gong that I purchased along with the cherry nano. I don't use glass much.

of the 3 bongs I have none seem to work with the gong. it seems I need something else if I want to use water filtration What do I need to look for in a bubbler or bong in order to make this work?

Many thank

You probably need an 14mm to 18mm adapter, like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pinnacle-Pr...262?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19e629665e

Could probably get it cheaper on dhgate

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
About power cord: I think it is as it is to allow a long intense utilisation without problems. If it was thinner it would break inside much faster.
That being said I agree: if it was like apple notebook power cable style (magnetic and very thin and very durable despite usage) than it would be too much in one vape, its beauty could make peaple go blind or crazy

Here is my nano. I really love this vape:

Performance is amazing, sooo much power but easy to dial in. I'm getting amazing flavor and unreal conservation of material. I love this little vape and it's become my daily driver.

I do have a question about mine though. It's got this lovely squiggly crack in it, which I think looks awesome, but I'm wondering if it's intended to be like or if it's a problem that might get worse? I noticed a thin line of shiny something (maybe glue or some kind of sealant?) around the outer rim of the crack, I'm hoping that's there on purpose? You can see it reflected on the right side of the opening in this picture:

It's sorta all around the opening, but you can only see it reflected in light...

@ACE OF VAPE do you think this all looks ok? Stable and as intended? Can you tell me what is the slight shiny substance around the opening of the wood? Thanks!

It can't be thinner because it's has 110 Volts AC running through it. It's not low-voltage DC like an Underdog vape or phone/laptop cable.

the power cord is fine. a it's the stoner that keeps tripping over it dragging the nano to the floor that is the problem.

I got my mj card renewed yesterday and was bragging to the Doc that I believe the nano is better than the volcano. hits just as well and uses a fraction on the weed.

@OnCloud8 Welcome to the club! Your Nano has a birthmark! It's nothing to be worried about at all.

Looking at the grain patterns, I'm betting it's unlikely that your Nano will crack. However, should it crack, I'm sure Andy will take care of you with no problems (My first figured walnut cracked within the first month, had it replaced without any problems).

Thanks for the welcome @Ratchett ! Yeah I actually love the way it looks. I never even thought it was a defect until i noticed the thin band of shiny something around it? I wondered if it had been sealed and had cracked open? Either way I hope it's good to keep because I love it as is. I just got curious about the shiny substance more than anything...I like to know as much about the materials in and on my vapes as possible.

Really am excited by how well this vape performs, 10/10 would recommend to a friend :)

@ctxgooner , oh cool, good to know! yours is beautiful. I figured it was something intentional, maybe it kind of keeps the borders of the voids stable? thanks for the heads up!

A couple of pages back someone made a video about how to make a basket screen. I have been trying to look for that posting but unable to find it. Can someone please help me?

Also what can I use to polish my nano? I have heard of people use wax but what kind of wax and where can I get some from? Also I have heard of people use coconut oil. What else could be used?

Easy way is just find a socket wrench (10mm I think) and some kind of rod to shove the screen in. Not the best way but works wonderfully if the rod is flat ended and large enough to keep the dome shape..

@DieHard
I have nothing to compare it to because the Chech is the only log ive used, but mine does seem to get extremely hot after some time......i leave mine on @4 when i leave the house and turn it up to about 7 when i get home.....it takes 30-45 mins but then it is very very hot..,,especially towards the top....im not sure if its because of all the voids or if its a density issue......i just grab it from the bottom when im using it dry.....
