temperature for wax

Hi every body

i am very interested by the concentrates like Bho and very curious because it's not very usual in my country .
I have a question for bhp users that i can't find, i hope to have your opinion

i'd like to know if it's possible to use wax at 470°F in a conduction vaporizer . Is it enough?:mental:

(i have found informations about the temperatures to vaporize different variety of plants but for the wax or concentrates it's not defined or i have not found the topic!).

Thank's for your responses:wave:

it's a prototype with same kind of heating chamber than the PaX ( conduction vape) with a bullet inside for the wax . As the Pinnacle pro , . The temperature could be adjusted but the maximum is 470°F .

It's not going to be the greatest you can give it a try it.

I would use some ss wool to help hold the oils unless the bullet like holder seems like it would work well.

EDIT:
Jjust tested with my T-Vape, can definitely put out clouds of vapor from starting at 370F to 446F, it would be nice to be able to choose my starting temp but low temp dabs are nice, and I can pull hits for a few minutes from a small dab. Not always huge hits but the longer I wait the bigger they are. Definitely doesn't medicate as quick as dabs, but I find it WAY better in taste over time than my atomizers.

the combustion chamber is horizontal, on the top of the unit. A bit like a pipe. I think the cotton used to limit leaks on the Tvape? Here the combusion chamber, can easily accommodate a cartridge (bullet) that would be clamped in it without cotton
This bowl for wax Will Be made with iron steel , i think also on adding a cover with an output for the vapor ..(?). In any case, 470 °F is currently the higher possible temperature i can obtain

Cotton in the T-Vape? I use SS Wool, no leaks even though it is horizontal, I either place the dab on the bottom or on the top, depends on usage.

470F should be fine. A bullet probably wouldn't be necessary unless its for cleanliness but they normally aren't as hot as the surface heating it and if you can just load in that chamber without a bullet you'd be fine with something to prevent leakage.

a bullet would keep the combustion chamber clean . but principally the bottom of the chamber where is a screen and the hole of the stem that goes to the mouth piece. This part is always difficult to clean.
The objective is to have a conduction vaporizer for dry herb , reserving one temperature for concentrates. Furthermore, the battery is not sufficient for sustained use at full power. it will be an option for occasional use of wax.
On the Pax, the temperature maxi is 410°F , i think it's not enough , i can't make tests of the heating chamber with wax, because i have not ( it's not common in europe !) so i prefere make a preset at the highest temperature i can. When the scale of temperatures will be fixed,
Other tests will be made in US with various products , to collect more precisions for concentrate use and permit to continue the development

410F is enough. I've done enough testing to know what it will even work lower than that.

You can even do it on temps as low as 300 but the product is obviously better at high temps.

With the T-Vape my short tube is intended for herb and the long tube is intended for oils.

Thank's guys for your answers. I can do my tests only with hashish or weed, and your advices are very helpful
the temperature into the bowl will be ok . i am looking for the good shape, that let the vapor pass below the bowl, without obstruct the hole in the bottom , and the vapor flow.
it looks easy to do it.
what do you think about a cover on the bowl for transport?
its a little more difficult to do . something without leaking but with a path for le the vapor , or maybe a cover that needs to be removed before vaping is a best option
