Glass Psycho
Hey guys,

I just stumbled across this guy today and messaged him and ended up ordering a mini tube from him. He's newer to blowing tubes and bubblers but just upgraded his torch a few days ago and will be making some SWEET stuff. I've been talking with him about my tube today and have a final layout and am beyond excited. I think you guys should check his stuff out. Im trying to get him to come on here and start doing some stuff for the community. I can tell his stuff is only going to get so much better. He's also great with communication.

Here's his Instagram page: http://instagram.com/geneticglass

Here are some pics of recent work. I don't like to mention a glass blowers work but it is affordable. I just had my mini tube complete my custom made by me. Its going to be my dream tube.

He also considers this a hobby as he only does this on the weekend. He works full time during the week and told me this is just for fun. Seriously can't reccomend this guy enough. I can't wait to show you guys my piece.

Some pics too

He had this 1st tube up for under $100 including shipping because of the wonky mouthpiece to get an understanding.

Hey grdwaste,

Thanks for the kind words and having me register for this forum. I'll post more of my items here, now that I have an account. It seems like a really nice community.

A little bit more about my glass experience .... I have been a lampworker since June 2013 when I took my first couple of courses at the college. These courses were all solid work dealing with sculptural, marble, and pendant making. This taught me a lot of the fundamentals without having a ton of $$$ upfront to buy all the equipment. I loved the art medium that I needed to setup a home studio in my garage. Fast-forward into beginning of 2014, after getting my home studio built and a good amount of experience on how to work colors properly, I started getting into hollow work for pendants and functional pieces. I hit a bit of a wall progression-wise because my torch wasn't big enough to do bigger pieces. But this week, I got a huge torch upgrade (on a GTT Mirage now) and I can't wait for some big leaps in progression. I've started doing heady worked sections, like wigwags and spirals, as well as encalmo or Inside-Out pieces.

Stay tuned and I'll post new work as it becomes available.
