I ordered one over the weekend, mostly based on comments and discussion outside this particular thread, as I need this now and don't have the energy to read another hundred pages before deciding on a new portable. I'm hoping it will be the heavy hitter I need in a non-electric device outdoors this coming spring and summer.

It has so many of my desired attributes:
  • No Asian electronics or plastics
  • Aesthetically pleasing simple design that elevates function over decoration
  • Handmade by a skilled craftsman from natural or safe premium quality materials.
  • Manufacturer is an active and positive member of FC who contributes beyond his role as a salesperson for his product.

I chose a basic model, as I think it will be fun to finish it myself if I choose, and I have a monk-like appreciation of the simple, so it will likely may get polished from being handled and used. Honestly, @Enchantre 's and a few other' s recent praise was enough for me to know that this should be a keeper and that I could order with confidence. I'm simply no longer willing to waste money on junk that I will want to replace before I even get it.

@vapman Who knows? When I'm not preaching about the marvels of the E-Nano for indoor use, I might have to put in my application to be a Vapman ambassador to the Republic of Cascadia, my new homeland.

Nothin wrong with a good log vape..they have a purpose....i own one myself. if i were a betting man i would gamble that you will find that the vapman is way more efficient than the e-nano and gets you toasted with less!!!

People have seriously asked me if I have the Norwegian rights to the Vapman because I promote it so hard

@NorVape You are the Norwegian ambassador of vapman, no doubt!!;)Belive it or not, before your time as an ambassador we didn`t sell one single unit over a period of ten years time to your beautiful nordic country. Now, orders come in regulary from this direction, just amazing, thank you!:cool::rockon:

I'm not going anywhere. This is by far my favourite vape ever. When your a big superstar manufacturer be sure to remember us little guys :)

I am far from a big superstar manufacturer, I wish there would be more people appreciating vapman like you fellows on this fantastic thread. Vapman is still an undiscovered pearl in the big world of vaporizer.
Most people underestimate vapman by far, I always have to do a demonstration to make people realize how good that little fellow (@Seren) really is. In fact, most shops don`t want to carry vapman because they think it is too expensive and they are afraid to be sitting on them. This is why I am far from a superstar manufacturer, but I will always remember you, you can count on that!:)Anyone here is welcome to visit our factory in case you get lost in Switzerland one day, it would be my pleasure.:)

@ChippyMalone Wow, ambassador of vapman to the Republic of Cascadia, this is music to my ears!
I am willing to give you a privat lesson on how to use vapman, just to get you for the vapman ambassador of Cascadia.:D We already have Norway and Cascadia on our map, not a bad start for a Tuesday morning, cool. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you lots of joy with vapman and I hope you will like it, we need ambassadors.:)

That, @vapman, is because your little vaporizer is the easiest sell. My friend ordered three. His first vape, our friends first vape and what I then thought of as a flame powered back up to my electric vapes (I don't even know where some of them are now haha).

And almost everyone who have tried our vapmen has bought one or wants to buy one. It's vap-mania!

This might sound like blasphemy on this thread, but when purchasing vaporizers initially, I stayed away from vapes that require the torch. I know vapman connoisseurs love the ritual and adjustability that the flame gives you but from personal experience, I went with a battery operated initially. It seemed that battery powered is more idiot proof.

I think the introduction of the heating system might bring more people to appreciate the vapman. Strategically, it sounds like a great move. I did not want to do anything with butane vapes when I started my vaporizer journey. However, as my collection grew, and my knowledge of vaporizing grew, so did my curiosity. After buying many battery powered vapes and seeing the limitations of batteries, the vapman became more appealing.

I'm hoping the heating system will allow the user to use the torch or the heat system. One will be idiot proof for ppl like me (heating station) and will still allow for flame based for the experienced user. I think if you continue putting out a great product, eventually ppl will catch on.

I can't sell ANY vaporizer to my friends :D
They are so accustomed, and addicted to the tobacco, to joints. They don't feel the effect immediately (wich comes a bit later than smoking + cos they are still smoking) so they don't even look back at it. Although my Vapman gets more compliments for sure than my Solo or Air! Gotta love and respect the design and how well build it is.

Some like it, some respect it, but the most still think that joints are holy. They just think vaporizers are some new toy that will end in the closet... While in fact my new toys have paid for themself almost in only 6 weeks!

But their fucking LOSS hahaha :D so much advantages over smoking, why choose the unhealthiest?

I tried to convince a good friend that she ought to vape instead of combust. She tried all my devices: Da Buddha, Pax, Lotus, MFLB. She wasn't interested. My Vapman is now hers. That's how good it is. I'm still waiting to replace it.

I feel guilty about my poor little MFLB. For several years, it was my reliable assistant. With the Vapman, the Crafty, and the Persei/Herc on deck, that MFLB only gathers dust. Vapman is superior to the MFLB in every way, except that the batteries are much quieter than the torch...

I agree! the Vapman is amazing! I'm still glad I got my ENano, but I might not have gotten a couple of other portables if I'd found this first. However, I do still love having my various toys.

As far as "ambassador" goes, on the 14th of March (next week!) I'll be setting up a vaporizer demo station at our local MMJ Farmers Market. While my VM will NOT leave my hands ("My Precious!"), I will have some slides on the Powerpoint going of various portables. I'll be demo-ing my tethered vapes.

I foresee lots of great shots of the VM. :)

I'll also be providing handouts with URLs listed for the better manufacturers... like Vapman!

I think the introduction of the heating system might bring more people to appreciate the vapman.

I couldn't agree more. It will effectively transform the Vapman into a portable/table-top hybrid of sorts; and will be pretty unique in that respect. I really can't wait to see how the heater performs.

the Vapman is amazing! .........

I just knew you'd love the VM once you tried it....... :) It's so great to see the appreciation for the little fellow grow.

More fool them, I say. I know the VM has been around for quite a while now, but I see it as a slow burner. Even here on FC, it took a while to take off in popularity. As vaporising becomes more popular though, I feel that the same will hold true for the VM. Word of mouth is a powerful thing - and everyone I know who owns a VM tends to be keen to spread the love. I feel the future is bright for this little one

:peace:

My original plan was to buy a crafty and be good to go.. but when I went to make purchase I hesitated because I had just bought an air and was really liking it. So I decided to buy a few capes for the same price. So I decided on the daisy and lily and for good measure I contacted randy at puffitup.com and ordered a vapman. Randy is a first class dude and cant wait to get this baby in my hand. Any basics I should know beside perusing the threads which I have done. Just wanted to introduce myself to the vapman forum and hopefully will have great time with it. Im sure some of you will see me on the other threads as well. Well as I said if any tips or tricks I should know, have a great day everyone..

Good choice buying the Vapman! You'll love it more every day, as well as you learn from it every day. It's nice to play with and getting a routine out of it after a while.

Let's see what tips I can give being high as fuck from my little friend :D

Don't be shy on the heat! You can overdo but you can do more then just a couple seconds. I start with 5secs more or less, wait 2sec, do 5 more, take a hit, do 5 secs, take a hit,...
If i find it taking to long, i do 3 times 5 secs without taking a hit in between. Monster hit that gets me stoned right away. Pretty dark ABV also. But I love it!

If you like your bowl and filter nice and clean, wipe it after every session with a piece of cloth or handkerchief or so.

That piece of cloth you can use to tuck it in the egg. This way you won't have tye rambling sound made by the loading funnel.

I use the concentrate screens for herb also. Personnal choice though. With this the bowl can have 0.04g in it, and still pounds my ass.

More i can't think of now, i'm sure more reactions will come soon. Just enjoy it and try what's best for you! Lovely process hehe :D

I just came from my trip to Germany visiting family.
Of course first thing i did was to order (finally!) my vapman from verdampftnochmal!

Now back in Chile, I have to say this is the best investment I have done in my life!
I love it, my friends love it. Everyone love it! Even when I'm not vaping i just can't stop looking at this little piece of art!
All i know is that I will live a lot of adventures with this little fella. It excites me to think how it will look in a couple of years, worn in and still making miracles.
I have to say THANK YOU VAPMAN!

and I will do my best as an (unofficial) Chilean ambassador of Vapman!

( I will soon start posting some pictures of my adventures with it in Chile)

(oh and Can somebody post the picture again of the "bad used" vapman that looks burned? I can't find the picture)

( I think we could resume all the interesting vaping ways we have discovered, tips, jet flames, maintenance etc.. and make an entry in Vaporpedia so everything is clear for future "Church of Vapman" members :D )

(You people have no idea how I enjoy watching this thread and see how we discover every day new secrets of the Vapman, I feel really proud to be now part of this little community on Fuckcombustion.com)

@OF

I have been known to buy a back up of my favorite vapes and i could always get custom wood or a vapman classic down the road.

I may be in the semi finals for all-time vapes purchased, but only time will tell if i end up with multiple vapmans

Mystery of the @Ed's TnT long draw stem solved!

The reason the long draw stem pack such a punch is the draw hole is over double the size of the stock Vapman stem.

This African Blackwood stem has been tapered on the insertion end like the Vapman stems.

That long draw is a beast....nice stem may have to get one of those blackwood stems.

Damn it. Your amazing accessories pop up everywhere I do. Still have some beautiful Ed MZ stems packed away someplace and an old Ed dugout still gets occasional work. The vapman stems look pretty awesome. Cheers.

Edit. Do people think the concentrate bowls are worth getting? I didn't see much explanation of them on the website.

Damn @hoyo77 it is a BEAST — just fired up Brutus with the long draw stem. Wow, sincerely delivers big hits, it surprised the hell out of me.

Thanks for turning me on to this one.
I used to think modding the vapman would hinder its performance and also take away from is beauty.. @Ed's TnT wood work is so amazing that his pieces actually add more beauty and functionality to the vapman. I love all 3 of my pieces he made for my vapman. i got 2 stems and a wong tip. i did add some silicon to one of the stems and connected both stems together. That was a lung buster of a hit but the vapor was nice and cool. Reminded me of my j-hook and lotus but it was a much better hit. I kinda want an opium pipe for my vapman...may look at some pics and see what Ed can come up with!!

The Vapman is so well designed that maybe the only thing that can really be modded, where it can have a worthwhile effect, is the mouthpiece. I like how it was designed makes it very easy to use different mouthpieces and even different wongs. Aspects of the Vapman seem designed with the thoughtfulness of a fine classic pipe — first and foremost user friendly. I like options for different moods. The long stem hits so strong that I can safely say it won't be my daily driver. But for those moments you want to feel like you are smoking a joint nothing could beat the long stem, it's perfect.
That long stem really shines on concentrates! That is the main reason i wanted it. Justa dab will do ya with that bad boy!!!

i also have neglected my mflb lately, in favor of the vapman and the vaponic(when i don't want to bother with grinding and no pre-ground herbs are availablle, call me lazy :) ) but the mflb definitely has its place in my arsenal. it only requires one hand, produces no noise from the lighter, doesn't require handling open flames in questionables states of mind and easier and safer(from various points of view) to use in crowded spaces. so with all my love for the vapman, i'm not planning on abandoning the mflb camp for good. :) the mflb is my ninja vape, the vapman my katana. :)

Good morning, @IAmKrazy2 My bad bro, my bad!!! LOL, I got to say if it werent for all the fine members and friends here at FC I wouldnt be able to do what I do, I blame it all on them! DAMN IT FC! I am glad to hear your still going for the wood, not a bad thing at all and maybe the best reason to get you some more.

@hoyo77 Really glad to hear you are digging those pieces as much as you are! Keep it up my man!

@IAmKrazy2 You know what, if you really wanna lay blame to someone, it all lies on @steama he is the culprit and the brains behind this showing!
