That is one of their units. The Plenty is about $100 more and works just as well. I have both and love my SSV. All I am saying is if I were Microsoft and you ordered a red controller would it be ok if I sent you a white one?

The complaint about 7th Floor's service is valid (I've experienced it myself multiple times), but we don't want an ongoing discussion about it, and introducing another company's products and service is going farther off topic.

Yes.
While 7th floor may at times show some "creative order filling", that happens in shipping, and are the same parts used for 2 other vaporizers as well.... I felt badly that it wound up in the SSV thread, when the trouble is not vaporizer specific. The Silver Surfer thread took a hit with the criticism, as opposed to the discussion being in the Vapor Lounge somewhere.

I'm curious, how many of you guys use the oil kit to vape flowers? It's a bit of a pain but I just switch heat covers, original for flowers and oil for oil (duh), as I just can't get good heat to vape herb with the oil kit cover. I wonder what your experiences are like...

7th floor should make the newer style of HCs with the ground joints compatible with the SSV/DDV.
Shouldn't be to hard and would make changing covers a lot easier.

I like the looks of the SSV and want to get one. But it seems like historically 7th floor has 420 sales where you can get a SSV cheaper than the blemished SSV price. I noticed they only have the $420 sale advertised do you guys think that's it for this year or should I hold out for a cheaper SSV?

Those of you who use the oil rig setup with the SSV, how much heat do you usually use? I've tried around the 1:00 position as well as on max, but as I only have a few months experience with concentrates I'm not entirely sure what is a good heat level. At lower temp the flavor is great but I sometimes feel a very slight waxy coat in my mouth. At high temp I don't really notice that mouthfeel but the flavor is greatly diminished.

I almost bought a blemished unit but a few pages back I saw 7th floor sold them for $110 a few months ago? Hard to pay their prices when you know they had sales like that and only not so long ago too!

Just bought a SSV anything I should know for a first time user?
Bought it because I found myself getting bored with log vape small loads and wanted something that hit a little harder.
Ordering a 19mm WPA adapter but there are so many options and weird accessories I was hoping some SSV vets could let me know if I should bother with any of the different glass styles. I saw the fatty wands that looked interesting for huge loads and the all glass transfer wand which really caught my eye. I will probably be ordering one of those unless I find posts of people saying to avoid it for whatever reason. It looks like you can't use the all glass transfer wand with a standard glass heater cover though is that correct?

I have @grokit ' sold SSV on it's way to me and I am super excited!!!!!!!!!!
I have read some reviews about the 29mm fatty wands and it sounds like people don't like them. Is there anyone in here that does have a good experience with the bigger wands? Or is the stock one the way to go?
I might buy a ground glass kit, but I think I will play with the standard one and get used to it first.

IMO, the stock wand can be too big, I shorten mine considerably.
No need for the fatty wand. Maybe ask for a slightly longer wand if you order one from 7th floor if you really need it.Yeah I don't recommend switching between different HC/wand combos. Each piece of glass is different and you will have to adjust accordingly to each new combo. Better to master one first,
