Wash DC Man asks and gets confiscated cannabis back from cops

The danger here is the Feds. Congress is attempting to order the DEA to go after local DC residents and even DC cops who are obeying local law. All the lawyers I work with in DC (and most are pro legalization) are telling folks not to act as if this is legal. For instance, there are already rumors that the feds will come after the precinct that returned the herb (for distribution). Of course Congress does not have the authority to do any of that- enforcement is Executive branch. But the DEA head Obama has still, for some reason, not fired (she keeps contradicting him on canna policy and is the main stumbling block on Executive branch rescheduling) is also rumored in town to be preparing to target local DC folks, cops, and other DC government figures.

Remember, DC is not like other places. No state government, only partial home rule, no state-level rights at all. The main reason I live in MD though most of my life is in DC, even though I'd qualify for medical canna if I did move into the District. Plus I don't want to have no vote in the Senate or the House.
