As far as custom work turn around time, I am still going at 2-4 weeks. I am not taking custom orders this week, just got a couple to finish up and gotta get some Vapman and Lily pieces made for retail this week also. I actually just got engaged a few hours ago, and will be treating myself to something special in the near near days My girl is dancing and I am on clouds

@Ed's TnT ~ at the scale we work, these are super dangerous. to paint a full picture, my wound would have been much worse and lost a hand had it been with our larger heli (9 foot rotor blades spinning at 4,000-6,000rpm), but my wound was caused by a y-6 multi rotor with six 14 inch blades. Even after a decade in the business, I made my first critical mistake. It was a reality shot worth stitches...

For a taste of how we roll, check this out... Many will not understand or believe what they see, but this is all RC (no strings).

This will fuck you up if you get hit... the HD camera's framerate cannot even keep up with the speed of the blades.

Good morning everyone! We got a snowday today! The boys school has been canceled, have about an inch or so of sleet piled up on the hood of my truck. They say the worst is said to come at daybreak. WOOT WOOT, its bout to get ignorant round these parts! Remember I am only a 1/4 mile from dirt roads as long as you have gas in the tank, gonna wait and let the boys wake up and we are gonna get stupid! Gonna be fun to get out and enjoy this rare blessing from Mother Nature.

Ok, well thanks to @steama the lily stems are going back to redesign, not that there is anything wrong with the straight stem idea but after speaking to him there is just so much more that can be done. So thanks to Steama's kind kind agreement I will be getting his Lily back very soon and will begin turning these ideas into reality. I look forward to the work and hope you all will like what I do.

Well the sleet seems to have slowed down somewhat since I got on here a little while back, maybe a good thing but come on Mother Nature dont fail us now, give it hell, we need snowmen to build, snowballs to throw and hands that need freezing!

@flying low good to have you back. Congrats on the engagement! Dude, that chopper is the sickest RC thing I think I have ever seen! Total controlled insanity. I'm stunned. I just imagine a pilot passing out after the first trick, or possibly being flung out! Impossible at 1:1 scale with pilot. That may be my next hobby. That MUST be a very expensive learning curve.

Well hello and good morning everyone! I hope all is well out there! The snow day for the kids wasnt what we were hoping for, Mother Nature let us down, but hey the boys were still outa school and that was cool! We hung out, got caught up on DVR good stuff, we have really gotten into History channels Legend of Superstitious mountain. Oh we dig that kinda stuff, we so love treasure hunting and supernatural type stuff. They went back Friday and watchout now they are off for 9 days, its spring break in these parts! Oh they are excited! I went to Walmart yesterday to get some groceries and all that, plus picked up some crappie gear, when its this time of year the crappie are nailing it and wow are they alot of fun to catch. Its back warming up here, supposed to be 63 today with highs in the 70's next week but quite a bit of rain in the forecast. We are gonna squeeze in some fishing regardless, count on it!

Alright, alright, now its time for a little show and tell, @NickDlow wanted me to do something for him with a SS UD bushing, told me the sizes and said to make it burly, I did a little digging and found a sweet piece of Buckeye burl I had put back. Turned out to be one of what I feel to be one of the finest pieces I have ever made, really like the detail this piece has, its hard to show in the camera but there is two eyes looking at ya if you turn it just right. I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Oh and aint nothing like good ole fun and shooting guns! I just bought a Do-all Skeet thrower for my boys that is being delivered today! Those things are so much fun for folks of all ages, it slings skeet up to 80 yards every second and a half. WOOOHOOO a fish fry, a big fire outside, cooler full of beer, and loaded guns, what a fine time to be had!

Watch out, anybody else wanna throw something in? Yall ever heard of that old story/fable Stone soup?

Some travelers come to a village, carrying nothing more than an empty cooking pot. Upon their arrival, the villagers are unwilling to share any of their food stores with the hungry travelers. Then the travelers go to a stream and fill the pot with water, drop a large stone in it, and place it over a fire. One of the villagers becomes curious and asks what they are doing. The travelers answer that they are making "stone soup", which tastes wonderful, although it still needs a little bit of garnish to improve the flavor, which they are missing. The villager does not mind parting with a few carrots to help them out, so that gets added to the soup. Another villager walks by, inquiring about the pot, and the travelers again mention their stone soup which has not reached its full potential yet. The villager hands them a little bit of seasoning to help them out. More and more villagers walk by, each adding another ingredient. Finally, a delicious and nourishing pot of soup is enjoyed by all.

Sounds like a good time for all! I know I have seen it mentioned one time here or there in a thread here at FC about an FC meetup kinda thing, itd be a hellova thing and I would be more than happy to provide the place/space to do something like that one day! Good people, great eats, even better drinks, vapes all around!
