Mansion I guess.. he ended up burning his cheetah rug and when I said it was bad for the sub, he offered to buy me a new one... God I love Arabs and their hospitality.

Gawd sub makes such good vape porn.
My experience last night was far from vape porn.
I went to my buddy John's apartment to hang out and shoot the #%^* for a few hours, and ended up bringing the Sub for him to try out.
(Keep in mind the only thing close to a vaporizer he has ever hit was the pax)
I gave him a .05 bowl for him to test it and he almost died..
Then I asked if he would really like to try a big boy hit... This man takes a .1 Bud, .2Bubba kush shatter double decker for his second hit, and cleared it in under 7 seconds.
Mistake mistake mistake. He was coughing up in the sink for a good 5 mins before collapsing on the wall behind him and saying

Also does anyone have any tips on keeping the atomizer tight once heated up? Beyond a good iso cleaning...

My 1.0 atomizer really loves the fine mesh screens from mendocino therapeutics; I have tried many.

I have to agree with grokit on fine mesh screens. I just go down to my local headshop and take whatever mesh screens they have. Even if they're too big, I just use my original sublimator screens as a template and cut the new ones to the right size. I think they're better because they're easily bendable so you can get them in and out of the atomizer more easily. They seem to stay in better as well. I notice they take longer to clog, so you still have good air flow after a lot of use. Once they're dirty they are very easy to scrape clean (cleaning each hole in the OG screens with a dental pick, fuck me), and also very cheap to replace (much cheaper than $1.65 + shipping for 2 sublimator screens on the website), a pack of 10 costs me 30 cents. lol I can't tell you how many times I got frustrated because I couldn't use my sub due to the screen being clogged/stuck/ and the atomizer itself was not hot enough to unscrew so I could poke the screen out. These screens are definitely the way to go.

I managed to leave my original sub spoon with @MGG after a sesh, so I went out and found another one.
My main criteria was that the spoon simply must fit inside the atomizer.
It turns out with this comically tiny spoon, 1 heaped spoon is a nice general load, and 2 heaped spoons is a nice fat load
My mates have nicknamed it "tinkerbud"

About 12 grams of Sublimate Oil. I been saving it for a while.
oH I figured out how to clean the og sub screen I just lay them flat and scrap across half of it with something sharp like a prick, while holding the other half w/ finger then I flip it and do it again.. It easy and works great.

Nope, never got a moon tool either. Still loving my sub though, as far as comparing it to a cloud (EVO) I haven't tried the new model of either vapes so I can't say which is better from that perspective, but I did have the early Cloud and found it to be a heavy hitter they both produce large amounts of vapor. Hard to compare them since size and design is very different, and glass parts with the Evo are always going to make it more of a break hazard compared to a hot chunk of metal (Sub.) IMO... The sub I got was the first release, and still going strong after 1 and 1/2+ years...

I think the sub hits harder than the EVO. The sub is an instant extraction specialist! I never received a moon tool either.

The evo can hit pretty hard, personally I never liked the elbs much. It's almost pure convection though, different beasts. When I had the evo I liked it at night. I still like the sub dry as a daytime driver.
I'm still waitring on my moon tool. I can't remember who was more full of it on that one, planet vape or enrico. It seems petty not to follow through on that promise when it's such an inexpensive item.

Never seen any cloud hit look anything like the vid I posted and I've taken bigger off my sub. I think with an experienced sub owner that strives constantly for the biggest hits possible, I don't think cloud can come close as its pure convection like @grokit mentioned. Sub uses a bunch of conduction, convection, and radiation (pulling physical heat from Apollo). @Detonator that stash is extremely impressive. Wish I could like it twice!

Not one time has any even made it down to the little sublimate cap......I'm not really sure what I could be doing wrong.
It was one of the main features I was looking forward to and I have yet the pleasure of getting a nice fat dab of sublimate.....
I have the dabmaster ti btw......

Well mine is over a year old and I've never cleaned it inside. You have to let all the sublimate build up inside before it starts dripping out. It not like a bong stem that gets cleaned and poked out , somehow the heat will just keep everything flowing down till you get drips. Mine is in a dry bong and it falls perfectly in the downstem on the outside of the bong so I can just pluck out the lumps.. I also dab a lot of BHO through this.
I'll need to examine the the flowers you have been using, please pm me for my address so you can send me a half once... We can figure this out.

Hey guys. Hopefully this isn't considered spam. My other post can be deleted if need be. I originally asked on the xlr 2.0 thread but no reply after over a week so I am trying here. I have an xlr titanium dabmaster and recently it hasn't been hitting like it should be, even after being on for hours. I am getting weak hits and dumping out green avb now. This is an on and off thing at the moment but I am worried it could get more common. Has anyone had the same problem with wattage drops I hear about with the original sub with the xlr? Where does the problem come from is it the heating element or the cords? Have owned since may of last year. Wondering if there are fixes or I should send mine in? I have tried switching plugs and areas in the house and hasn't worked.Thanks for any help.
