Planning to get this to use with nano and solo. Anyone had any experience mating hydro tubes with enano or solo?

This is from a UK vape site for a very good price. But they state in description it's a good price because it's Chinese glass.

Instantly had a look on dh gate but couldn't find it. Has anyone else seen them on there?
They do call j hooks, s shaped pipes on dhgate so wouldn't be surprised if these are called something random.

Anyway good to see this thread keeps growing and so does the new nano'it's.....

Also changed my mind about the dry stem........ lol right heat setting and right draw speed can blow your mind :-)
Have a good day those in nano land

Considering buying another log, and having looked around there aren't many options that ship to the UK aside from epicvape, so I guess 2 e-nanos are better than one right!?

Having said that, think I'd definitely like to explore some custom wood, couldn't message @Snappo so I'll just drop this here. Wonder if there's any planned revisions to the nano coming in the near future that Andy knows about.
PM'd you. :)

Best place to get it from China is probably here Pinnacle Pro at SunshineStore.

I'm not a big fan of these, but some seem to enjoy them. IMO, too small and too much of a PIA to use with nano. Not too bad on the solo with right GonG, but still prefer a proper bubb. Can get a small bubbler just as cheap for a better experience.

I think that would be messy for the nano. If the nano is upright your gong would be upside down so I would think the herb would be falling on to the screen and in the nano. Unless there was a screen underneath obviously.

This is purely observation and I have no experience with hydratubes just my opinion.

This is pretty much how it worked out for me. Plus fear of water getting to nano with just a little blowback. Definitely not something you want to pass to a visiting vapor-noob! Even the small and simple D020 has been a much better option IME.

Agreed!! But my personal favorite is the D022 for the awesome flavor

Thanks for the thoughts guys and the link to dh gate flotntoke..

The price delivered for this tube is 13-14gbp which is a third of the price that the UK vape store is selling it for, so because of this I'm going to give it a go mostly for use with the solo but also in try it with the nano.

Like you say some love them some dont but it's a cheap way to try one out.
Thinking could be good dry as well.

Also with material going on to the enano heater, i haven't found this to be a problem. Last few days I've started using the standard dry stem and I pack it and just place it on top of the nano and let it sit/soak. With one draw on the stem the material packs it self down and I don't seem to burn anything or material isn't going down the heater core.
But am thinking if a basket screen sat on top of the heater would work with either the stem or hydro tube to stop little flakes and pieces getting where they shouldn't. I also vape buds with the nano.

Gives me something to mess around with.

I would get it! But like others have reported not the best with the Nano but worth a try out on the end of a short SSV whip. I use mine with the LSV and Air with great pleasure. Now time to fire that Nano up for today's adventure!

Actually, take the first pull a little firmly, and that will effectively "seal" the herb in. This is after a gentle tamping to level the herb surface, of course. Then, no trouble at all with using the basket upside down. This works with most herbs I've used, and definitely works when you've melted concentrate into your substrate.

Your mileage may vary.

Got my new Nano, and I totally love it. Such an amazing little vape!

I seem to have ruined a dry stem already, I cleaned it, and when re-insterting the screen it scratched the inside of the glass tube while being pushed into position...tiny little scratches in 3 spots on the inside of the dry tube now (not sure if I can still use this ?). When I first noticed it happen I took out the basket and re-shaped it a bit, pushing in the sharp edges, but no matter how I adjusted it eventually it would scratch the inside of the glass dry stem a bit during insertion. I've had no such trouble with the 19 mm gong, but it has a winder intake for the screen...hmmm, maybe it's was just that particular screen? I can't tell and I'm nervous to mess with my other one till I figure it out. Would be curious to hear others experience if similar?

I'm thinking about aftermarket dry stems already...

A public service announcement from one very vaped out dude:

If you have been spoiled by the smoothness of an E-Nano paired with the water tool of your choice, and have forgotten all about using a straight stem, put down the bong right now and rip one fat straight glass stem of your favorite flower.

Holy cow am I zonked!

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong

OMG it is beautiful! Same wood as nano (walnut) a perfect match!!!!

Now I can rest happyer while healing

Thanks Ed, if you decide to turn a stem to use in combo with the wong (in a kind of 2 pieces wooden smoking pipe) I' ll buy for sure.

Well, my first stem developed a small crack on the interior edge with the first use. I've been running with it several times a day, every day and the crack hasn't grown or shattered, so I don't think scratches from the screen will ruin anything.

Of course, that doesn't mean abandoning caution. It's still glass after all. Reshape the screen as best you can, perhaps order some new screens and try replacing the scratchy one. But I think the screen having some scrape is probably the tradeoff for it fitting well. As you keep removing it and replacing it during cleaning, or adjusting it up and down during loads, it's probably going to form itself better anyway.

ok, interesting perspective on it. I've seen sometimes people get very worried about using any sort of scratched or damaged glass because of microscopic glass particles being a concern. Really I haven't used the one I scratched more than once since I vastly prefer my GonG and water tool combo. I will discard that screen though and see if I can get another one in the damaged Dry tube before I mess with my other dry tube...which came fully assmbled so maybe it doesn't need to be pulled apart and cleaned on arrival anyway? ...I dunno I usually clean everything before even the first use.

Been thinking about getting a dry tube from VXL and pairing it with another GonG, for a two piece dry stem with easier access to the screen in general.

The VXL straight mouthpiece is a 18mm female... make sure you get the 18/19mm Gong, or use an adapter.
