I want to know if the oil front end is being worked on. What's up with the titanium GH's and when can we expect them to be finished? Unless the SS version is the only working model at this time.

@CG420 This unit has not been released yet. The folks that have preordered will get theirs first. This is supposed to be in March. Hopefully there won't be anymore issues to slow it down. This vaporizer will only work with dry herb for now.

There have been a lot of problems, and many trusting people that have invested in this company. I hope they don't let the supporters down.

We will be anxiously awaiting the first FCer reviews.

Me thinks the oil section is going to be the cause of many headaches, and may be difficult to bring to market now.

Now that the herb chamber has been relocated into the body of the GH, one would assume the oil chamber would have to be as well(in order to get close enough to the heat to function). I foresee a whole host of issues coming up from that.

I'm speculating. My :2c:.

Well... The Chinese new year holidays end today so basically nothing happened these last 2 weeks, the update will probably be about how things will now be back in motion and how they're expecting more parts to be delivered and tested.

My experiences with pen vapes for concentrates
is to keep it vertical-ish , so there are no leakages .
With the GH design , if you want to wear it in your shirt pocket .
You wouldn't be using the pen clip , but
rather insert it upside down in your shirt pocket .

Hey Everyone,

March is here, and it’s going to be a big month for us. More videos and shipping will be taking place. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been working nonstop on assembly, jig refinement, and shipping coordination from our manufacturers. We’re happy to have finished the Grasshopper to our satisfaction, and are excited to be pushing forward to get them out.

The requests for content showing the Grasshopper’s features keep growing, and we’ve been making a big effort to get more videos out to you. This week, we’re showing Herbs after they’ve been vaporized at a range of Grasshopper temperature settings. For this video, we vaporized one chamber of herbs at each of the five tick marks. But remember, you can adjust the temperature to anywhere in between the marks as well!

The very first units went out last week, and a lot more are on their way. Workers are starting to return from the Chinese New Year, and we’ve arranged travel to oversee the large batch production. This extra measure of being on-site will ensure that the large batches resemble the small ones we’ve received. It's still variable in between the markers, brilliant. Now all i'm worried about really is bugs, taste/throat irritation from hot vapor and longevity of the unit. I'm not feeling as bad about getting the titanium unit with 2 batteries anymore. I can't wait to see the reviews.

Oh wow, so first two tick marks are super low temp, will be using between the marks a lot I guess. Makes me wish there were halfway, and quarter way tick marks too, then could go up by 5 degree Celsius each little mark... Oh well I'm sure it'll be fine going in between, finding sweet spots. I bet those low temp hits are very battery efficient though as well.

I think these early units must've been backers outside of indiegogo or something, maybe investors that gave a lot of money? Either way, we are in the home stretch it seems and we will begin receiving them in waves every few weeks over the next few months

You know as much as anyone else does, it doesn't exist. Last we heard was they were still working on it, it's obviously on the back burner until everything else gets out.

Since the herb chamber was moved from the front end to inside the body of the GH, it only makes sense that the oil section would have to be moved as well. I predict issues with this change, but since it doesn't exist, no one knows.

Keep in mind that they never actually had a working oil section from what we know. It was always just something they hoped to be able to make happen one day.

My understanding was that none of those extra add-ons would even be worked on until they had the main units flowing. They certainly didn't need more stuff to worry about. Sorry you thought otherwise; unrealized expectations are the worst. :huh:

Well five HALF chambers anyway. And not all of them done to the level most guys want? No doubt enough for some, but a far cry from what was advertised?

If they've already shipped the first units out, it must be very few or some lucky FC Member is keeping mighty quiet. Hopefully we'll soon have a unit in the hands of one of our fellow Members with an established history who can give us a 'hands on' appraisal from an objective POV.
