@AnthoFranco the kiss you where using was it a black wick version? Was it the 3.7v version? Which battery where you using with the Kiss?

yes, it is. 3.7 kiss globe, black ceramic wick. the battery is a trust fire 3.7v 2400 mah.
2. Even if your vv was set at 3.7v vs the Persei 3.7v there is still some differences. Like the vv will keep the 3.7v by taxing the battery while the Persei is straight battery voltage.

i certainly tell the 1st. couple of hits on my battery have more power to them. i have no core, yet?

I personally prefer running my Kiss Globe at 4.2v on the Core.

yes, consistent volts.

More than anything else I feel like what we are missing is a portable variable voltage option for UP Tech products.

thanks G and everyone else.

The issue is your using 4 year old batteries coupled with a protection circuit on top of the persei's electronics.

This is for sure not going to cut it, upgrade the the AW Imr batteries and see the difference.

The trust fire batteries at that time had a 3 amp limit on its electronics.

As for producing clouds the kiss globes are designed for taste but clouds are also attainable, what you need to do is give it a few more seconds on the button and watch it steam away.

Not sure how you can expect a unit sitting on a shelf for 4 years to have performance like a brand new battery. Variable voltage is not the answer, all you need are quality batteries. You might want to compare a current production UP tech product to the current production e-cig product to make a fair comparison.

- KISS Globe with Grade 2 titanium coil. The titanium coil has a lower resistance and differerent characteristics than nichrome wire. The vapor made in this video while perhaps not as 'cloudy' as an oval style battery vaporizer or e-cigarette heating element is far tastier than any other wire heater oil vaporizer I have tried, and I've lost count of how many other units I've tried over the years after I passed 25 various branded things. These coils also last me far longer than any of the oval battery stuff out there. Actually I haven't broken a single Globe coil yet...

@SamuraiSam cant really compare the Omicron to the Persei either.

If that production is done on he 14650 then expect to have increase cloud production on the Aw 18650.

I like running a 7.4v Ti Kiss on a 3.7v 18650 AW for flavor, but am I hurting anything doing it?

The momentum is finally on our side. Carpe diem!
Is the kiss mini really that awesome? I'm way to obsessed with herc/nibbler xl I've only used my kiss carts 2-3 times then again both mine are old white wick ones

No, I think you're right. The kiss mini carts are stealthier, but the only thing that touches the hercules/nibbler combo is a Ti nail on a dabbing rig.

No. I like the 7.4V ti cart at about 6v or less. You arent hurting anything by putting less current through it. You can only hurt something by putting more current through it than it was designed to handle.

Im not sure if this was mentioned in the thread previously but the persei pairs perfectly with the pinnacle water tool. I got my water tool off ebay for 26$ shipped and the 14mm joint slips right over the kiss gr2 mouthpieces and locks in like like a match made in heaven... I have a hard time with pens due to the harsh nature ( I may be more sensitive) of them all but this was a game changer for me!

Fully agree that there is a huge difference in performance between battery brands. I swapped one of the AW IMRs from my Persei into my Aspire CF Mod while it's normal Efest battery was charging. Wow what a huge difference in sustained cloud production. That being said I still prefer to run the Kiss Globe at 4.2v on my Core. It's like those early hits off a freshly charged AW IMR 18650.

So true. Sadly yesterday I swapped from the Herc to the Kiss Globe and left the Core at 7.4v by accident. Globe fireworks ensued. First time I have managed to break a Globe coil. Had just topped it off with some delicious Mittenmeds CO2 as well. So sad!

May I ask which battery you are using now? And just like to say it's not going to match the 4.2v output but it is designed to work best when coupled with aw Imr batteries. We like to balance taste and vapor production leaning more towards taste because that is the most important part for our clients.

We can essentially make a kiss cart that just throws vapor at you but it's not going to be the best tasting.

With the core inserts is it possible to swap tubes so it matches my red top? the black tube looks the same as my red one. was also wondering if the insert tube is supposed to have an accent ring, i put my red one on just so it looks better for now.

Well if the glove fits..... I have swapped out my original core insert 18650 tube for a different tube that W9 sent with my V4. If your red tube fits the same as the black one then go for it. The accent ring is merely that, an accent, it is not necessary for functionality. All that really matters is that your top makes a secure connection with the core insert centerpin without crushing it down too far.

is it possible to put the sr71 bottom adapter screws in the sr74 bottom adapter instead of the spring loaded ones? id rather do that if its possible than have to cut grooves in the 71 adapter for o-rings

Or You can just purchase the sr71 bottom afapter.

The sr71 that's on clearance right now states that it doesn't work with the Nibbler, but still maybe something you can order on your next purchase.
