@underdog when are we going to see some inner core glass stems? I'm really trying to hold off on an AirCore but just want more pups to play with. Any way to make an aircore ultra small and also running hotter than your average dog.

Just loving this setup, should have recorded it with some oils,

Lol.. I didn't figure it'd take much arm twisting to get you to do a bit of experimenting. Once you have your 'kit' set up send me a message and tell me how it's going, etc.

As far as run time goes I really have no idea and don't want to hazard a guess. I think your experiment sounds good though and look forward to the results. :science:

Speaking of experiments and gadgetry.. I've been using an awesome little device for a while and find it pretty cool. It finally occurred to me that maybe I should share.

An inline dimmer to adjust heat downward (all the new Dogs run pretty hot so this works out well), turn the Dog on/off (and it remembers your last setting), etc. Just plug it in between your power supply and extension cord and you're good to go. Oh yeah very unobtrusively small and a wireless remote too. Not bad for $6.

I believe that you can get these at wholesale in quantity and then feature them for purchase as an UD accessory - we all love one- stop shopping! BTW: will post pics of my 7 Underdog posse this week!

Where did you get that stem? I love glass, but I like the way the ss tip hits. This looks like the best of both worlds.

Inner core glass stems? You mean glass ones that will fit inside the center core tube instead of around the outside like our current existing GonGs and Direct Draw stems?

As far as a customized/mini AirCore send us a message, I'm sure we could figure something out easily enough.

Thats a vvps? I want a real small knob like the nano, that possible with the underdog? Maybe a chord out there with a voltage knob?

That's a simple $6 solution if your stock power supply runs your Dog hot enough for a 'max' temp since the cord w/knob solution can only lower the heat not boost it. If all of that is the case then you just need one of these to put between your power supply and your extension cable. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D69CTI8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Possibly, I'll have Underdogette look into it. If nothing else it's probably something we could stock a limited quantity of so people could pick one up as a convenience. Not something we could warranty given the price point, etc, but it's a $6 item so probably not a huge concern in that regard.

Think my Nano will fit in with the Dog Pack?

Nice looking Nano you've got there. Dogs are a friendly bunch so I don't see any reason that your Pups wouldn't be happy to play with the Nano. :)

Do you prefer it over the regular gong or ss tips? I may have to get something like that.
I do, over ss tips (not the gong), they heat soak a lot better and my abv has resulted in being darker, a lot easier on cleaning.

Yes, those would be great if they could be possible.

Those are actually what I use in my UD + UFO video.

For my icgs I get a good amount of radiative heat where I can load minuscule bowls and get a good milky hit from a .02g. Great flavor. I'll have to do a video to show off how well the vapor builds from the radiative heat. Since taking those pics and that video I've pushed the screen up 50% further.

does the air core models work with the gong on the site? also the gong stems included with the vaporizers, are they the short ones or the long ones.

Great Scott!
Got my curly black locust twig and I LOVE it!

Also got the nong stem thinking "what the hell". I love that too. I looked at the size of the bowl and laughed thinking that it wouldn't even make more than whispy vapor with so little herb. WRONG. Milked the mobius matrix! Its mind boggling how efficient that thing is. I tried to weigh the ABV from it and my 0.01 scale couldn't even display a reading...anyone got a better scale lol. Seems like you'll be able to take at least 50 bong hits off of a single gram. Thats RIDICULOUS!

The twig is definitely a little hotter. The outside gets way hotter than my King's Jester, but it feels nice. Not going to burn or be uncomfortable. I'm actually running it at 11.8v right now and that is perfectly great hits to me. 12v was great too, the VVPS just worked its way down on its own but I'm still very happy with it.

I'll upload a cool pic I took later after work. VERY pleased :)

Do the nong screens not get replaced?

Also wondering, do any car adapters that physically fit the underdog work? I have 2 car adapters that physically plug in, but I don't see any markings on them or specs, so its hard to tell which I should or shouldn't use. Figured I'd check in first.

@darkrom I find My little 'dog with the nylon stem is pretty fucking amazing. Still blows me away every time I use it and it uses so little bud. It's almost funny when I compare the tiny amount of AVB from a night with the underdog with what's left after a night with most of my other vapes. (I can't imagine what it was like using an even smaller PD bowl.)
For me the UD/nylon stem = Frugality without compromise at it's best !!

Yes you can change the screens in the nong or nylon stems ( right now on their site they only have the preformed basket screens) but they did sell flat screens, I picked some up not too many weeks ago.
But I gotta say I have yet to have the need to change a screen in one yet as for me they seen to vape pretty clean when using only flower in the bowl.

( And Thank God for the warmer/dry weather returning so one of my pups can stay plugged in out on my vaping porch, good good times.)

Hey Darkrom, you can replace the screens in the NonG if you'd like. We do still have the old style, flat kind that we used to put in them, but they were pretty tippy. We use the formed screens in them now: http://underdogvapes.com/formed-screens

As for the car adapters, if they don't have any specs on them (ie: they are not transformer adapters), they should be fine. Just be warned that car adapters output whatever voltage your car is outputting, which could possibly be an awesome 12 volts or could be a raging 14 volts, especially if the car is running. This warning goes for all car adapters.
