^^^^^^ That's interesting, the BASE is getting hot? I use mine around noon on average and it's on all day long, i'm not too concerned about longevity due to its low price, and it NEVER gets hot. It's a very comfy warm even around the heater guard drilled protector. Crank it up to say 3+ and it may get very warm, but the base is always a comfy handling temp.

Q: should the heater cover stay firmly in the lowest position? Because when the joints stick it can "pull" the heater cover up a touch, although I don't notice a difference in performance.

It was once again a pleasure to have @lazylathe over and have a great power session of the LSV, MV, and Crafty! Lotsa vapes and lotsa, LOTSA, strains!! Wow!

I think it had a favourable impression on him, and was blown away by the airflow!! The LSV sets the gold standard in airflow IMO, it is 100% WIDE OPEN...you can constict yourself via larger finer load, adding cotton, hemp, more water in bubbler etc. All up to preference, but I myself love the wide open non-fatiguing airflow.

Just vaped .1g medium grind Shishkaberry in an ELB/m2m at 11:30......daaaaammmmmm!!!

Thanks again brother!!

We need videos this time!
I'd love to see a video of the m2m in action. I couldn't get good results because of my HC.
Möbius clear matrix + LSV :D
A combo made in heaven :)

(Using a cloud buddy as a carb, and m2m adapter as wpa :D)

That's something I have been thinking about doing, for fun....just never get around to it! Probably because all I have is my iphone without any sort of stand.

Really looking to see what @lazylathe's thoughts are on it!
I record almost all my stuff on my iPhone.

I just upgraded to a 6+ about 8 weeks ago, but I was using my 4s for ages before that.
I've gotten pretty crafty at getting my iPhone to stand up at the right height

Unless you're a perfectionist and slightly lower quality stuff will shit you, I'm pretty sure everyone is happy with whatever your iPhone can produce vs nothing :)

If you leave the lsv inverted, make sure it is element up and the base won't get hot.
I leave mine on its side almost all the time, it can still get pretty damn hot...

Never hot enough that I thought it was a burn risk, but damn if it wasn't waaay too hot to be comfortable...

Why not lose the m2m and put your screen right in the buddy? I assume it's getting pretty tall.
:hmm:
- the cloud buddy has female joints. so nowhere to actually lodge the screen, and I couldnt make a seal with the lsv if I did jam a screen in there.
- I like the maneuverability of a m2m adapter. I can remove it to stir, dump out my load, and especially, I just scoop the m2m through my bud container to load - no sucking it up (I always found I got fresh herb I my mouth doing that), no physically handling herb.
- I don't really mind the height, the cloud buddy/carb setup keeps the lsv quite stable, and I don't leave the lsv connected between hits unless I'm holding the whole setup on my lap. I actually often add a carbon adapter (using steel wool instead of carbon, I tried cotton but found it added too much of a cottony taste...) between the m2m and cloud buddy to stop the particulates I always get with the lsv (that's the biggest downside of the lsv IMO, and that's pretty damn minor:))

I just got a bunch of cheap dropdowns of various sizes from dhgate, hopefully I'll be able to lodge a screen in them well enough and have drop down wpas:tup:

Almost there...
@biohacker

Thanks for the amazing session once again!!
Glad you liked the MV and the Crafty!!

Now lets talk about that LSV!
It is definitely a beast in disguise!!!
Very light, flavourful hits to super insane milky hits!
And there is absolutely ZERO restriction!!!
It blew me away!!!
The one thing i did not like before i saw the LSV was that i thought it only had the spherical glass cover. I did not know there was an 18mm joint hidden in there as well!! GAME CHANGER!!!

When bio showed me the M2M setup and how clean it stayed throughout all the sessions we had, i was floored!!
Then he showed me a screen in the M2M and it was filthy after the first small load!

I now have a silver LSV on the way.... I am sure i will take over from my Nano with ease!!
I can see the LSV and the MV being my daily drivers!

Not sure how you do it lwien, but we both didn't have any luck using the EQ elbow screen, and just concluded that it was too close to the heat source, but we're both rookies. I think I can get some results, but never consistent, and never one that i'm happy with that hits all the bases, like flavour and even extraction. I'm finding temendous success using that same amount in the ELB and it can even be easily stirred.

The entire ELB can be tossed IMO if one can get a 1/2" screen that has a fine enough mesh. The bottom of the ELB does a really good job of keeping things clean, I would love to get that kind of screen in 1/2".

canj00digit?

All my days in a daze...
The only way I use the wand:

Take a sip of water without swallowing.
Hold water under tongue.
Put the wand in your mouth submerging the end.
Have a hit, swallow water.

And thus, mouthbong was born

And it helps with drymouth:lol:

hehe that's pretty damn clever... it's the very definition of a 'natural perc' :science:

I've grown more and more fond of dry vaping for some reason. I used to never even think about doing such a thing, now it's more than 50% of my usage.
Maybe it's old age? 40 is only a month away for me. :o:uhoh::lol:

Yeah, at one time I never thought I'd live to see 40. And then, it just kinda whizzed on by.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
It does just kind of whizz by.
I am learning more and more to actually take a look, and appreciate the marvel of life, as it moves by.
I've spent far too much of my life in my own head.

Sorry for the off topic... LSV kicks ass! lol

I have zero experience with the LSV but I am considering making it my next vape purchase. When you reference scooping the herbs in the M2M are you using that in conjunction with a screen in place of a wand?
Yep.

Seat a screen in the bottom of the joint exactly as it sits in the transfer wand.

It basically gives you the same performance on the bud end as the transfer wand, but on the inhalation end it is a nice gong joint for pairing with glass :)

Trippy, 40 is only 7 months away for me and after nearly a decade of vaping, I am pretty much hanging up the towel on dry vapours...I just can't handle it anymore, unless it's super low temp, and I only do that from time to time. Although I will say that I haven't touched the long transfer rod since I first bought the LSV, so I may have to give it another shot!

Looking forward to a Sunday of sampling many new flavours in the LSV! Super stoked that @lazylathe has joined the LSV family and I think we will have another Nano convert on our hands! What is that 3 or 4 now?? Nothing against the Nano, very damn fine vape and another beast for your buck, but sorry - it's just not the LSV.

I even showed @lazylathe how the LSV can be Nano efficient by using fragments! Blew a nice little cloud!

Last night I decided to just accept having my glass soil fast, and ditched the ELB for the 1/2" screen at the bottom of the M2M. Pretty sure I was experiencing even better results! If i'm careful to stir and not tamp much, the amount of abv and whatnot that gets through is manageable, especially since the M2M is so easy to clean. I did pop the EQ elbow screen in the bottom of the M2M just for that extra little bit to keep glass clean, but I think I need to pick up a few more of those so I can get a rotation going.

The LSV just continues to impress, even after a couple of weeks! It has replaced all vapes for me!

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
Any links to retailers? I think it's time to try it! Still don't understand how it doesn't get sucked right into the bubbler though?
Try hemp fiber, I hear it's better than organic cotton for taste. Just a small bit like 5% or less of a tiny cotton ball will work. It stays in place easily with or without reclaim buildup. Works great in my 14mm wpa's but like you I think an ELB cap or Arizer dome is easier with 18mm, just more expensive and have to change more often, well at least IME. For anyone with the official wpa's or even m2m, look into the Kind Ash Cach, it gets used every single day! I can't even say that about my LSV.

Try a ball of SS mesh pad deformed. No odor, blocks particles.

I pulled out the LSV after all this activity from yall! had a spare smaller heater cover with smaller hole, different beast.

A basket screen at the good size will be a bliss (such as nano style)!
I failed to do a proper one which fits.

Finally drew back to elbs. Very interesting raw power.
