I replaced the O-Rings that seal the glass chamber and it seems that the fit isn't as tight as with the original O-Ring. Needless to say, water did leak thru. But I did forget to coat with Vaseline. Wasn't the purpose of replacing the O-Ring to avoid the Vaseline bit ? The dimensions on the silicon O-Rings I got are the following:
Inner Dia. = 7/16
Outer Dia.= 9/16
Width = 1/16 .
Did I get the correct piece?

I recommend adding a rubber band that fits over the bottom oring. I bought a random size big bag of rubber bands at the dollar store and fished through it until I found several that worked. This and a little petroleum jelly will really fix you up. No worrying abot oring size. Just make sure you don't over screw and make the band squish up. You want it snug and flat.

No, it will require Vaseline even with the new o-rings. I know, because mine stopped leaking the minute I started lubing the o-rings.

I use coconut oil on my O rings... no leaks. I also removed the center post O ring that I added from some I bought on ebay, they were the right diameter but a little thicker than the original one that broke and I think it's pushing up a bit, blocking the air path, so I found plumbers tape wrapped just on the threaded part seems to work well and doesn't block the baffles like the O ring I added seemed to be doing. I've let my bubbler top sit over night on a napkin with no signs of leakage after putting that teflon tape on the threads of the baffle/perc. It only takes a tiny bit. I seem to get better airflow now. :2c:

Other than the mod to a stock KISS cart shown on page 1 of this thread (oh man, the pics are gone!!!), what does one do to get a replacement cartridge for the Okeanos ? I was told elsewhere on the forum that W9 has an option for the Okeanos when ordering the KISS, but there isn't.

Over on the Persei thread, folks have indicated that all current KISS carts work with Okeanos.

I'm feeling dumb. I have not been able to get consistent clouds with my Okeanos. I'll use a KISS cart by itself, big clouds. With the Okeanos, it seems like I have to ride the button and draw for a really long time. Even then, sometimes clouds, sometimes not.

I'm using 3.4 volt carts. I find a fair amount of splattered concentrate in the lower chamber. What am I missing?

Your not the only one with these problems. Since I changed to a kiss mini, my Okeanos kicks butt. Check out Nube Scrutator's Okeanos Mods

Thanks. Somehow I missed that one in the Persei thread. I just got some kiss minis in the mail. I'll give it a go.
