That high THC stuff gets me way too haed buzzed and paranoid... Looking for something with high CBD

Thanks y'all
I really like Northern Lights and Grape Ape. Both have seemed to help with pain. They definitely give more of the body relaxing high compared to the head high.

I also tried super skunk when I was in Amsterdam and I remember that stuff being a very relaxing body high.

Some dispensaries even have incredibly high CBD strains, but they are pretty rare because from my understanding the high CBD plants don't give that large of a yield so most growers don't grow them.

Here is a good artical too:

Silver420Surfer

Downward spiral
Harlequin (hybrid)
5:2 CBD to THC

Sour Tsunami (hybrid)
Remedy (Indica)
Pennywise (Indica)
ACDC (hybrid)

Charlotte's gets all the attention, but some of these others have incredible CBD to THC ratios. Remedy has like 15% to 1% or less.

Great info guys, I live out in PR and its seeming like nobody really has any high cbd stuff or even really know about it lol

Someone recommended me hash plant when I asked for something high in cbd.. Is hash plant high in cbd? I thought it was just extremely high in thc which is exactly what I kind of don't want haha

I was at the the Mmj Farmers Market and @Enchantre suggested a strain called Harley Tsu. It's high in CBD. It's seems to help. I had tried something also called Black Tonic but I think that's a new strain. I can't find any info on it.

Also try tinctures for the right one for what ails you.

Try this on FC.

I haven't tried it yet, but my dispensary has something called Juanita La Lagrimosa that is supposed to be high CBD.

Jillybean is high is CBD but it's high in THC too. Cannatonic is high is CBD

Mmmmm JillyBean  That's probably my favorite strain so far, I didn't realize it was high in CBD. I've definitely got to find some more!
I got some Gumbi at The Farm in Boulder. It's low THC, high CBD, very good stuff indeed.

Franks gift in Oregon ha. I don't care for crazy high thc no cbd strains.

My guy claimed 15/15

Online it says way more cbd and even less THC.......but it obviously has good amount of cbd because I'm relaxed right away and it seems balanced.

In Northern Cali I've seen "Ringo's Gift" or "Ringo 2012", clocking in at 0.87% THC and 20.7% CBD. That's definitely the most extreme ratio i've seen so far.

There's a strain here in Washington called Cashy's Honey. It's suppose to be 18% CBD and 9% THC. It will be at the Washington Farmer's Market for MMJ this Saturday March 14th. A person can talk to the growers and find out how your medicine was grown.
I found this picture.

Fire it again. I can still find the ground.
Hey there!

Just wanted to mention something as a side note.

If you *do* get stuck with a strain that you feel is too high in THC, you can always either jar cure it longer (if it has moisture), OR turn it into an oil using any method that includes 250-degree (F) heat (I use a saffron oil bath in a fondue pot) and decarb it PAST the point where CO2 bubble production drops off all the way "until she's had all she can stand, she can't stands no more".

:-)

This is all from a skunk pharm post (http://skunkpharmresearch.com/decarboxylation/) where they discuss how, after CO2 bubble production falls off in a 250-degree (F) oil bath, THC-to-CBN production outpaces THCA-to-THC production.

Yeah, you would have pretty high CBN (which can be sedating, sometimes *very*). Although whatever CBD level was there should be unaffected. The other posts on the thread here are *much* better answers. But I wanted to throw it out just in case you found it useful.

If not, feel free to blow right on by this!

:-)

Peace and good things to you!

4 Corners Cannabis is launching a CBD Vape oil in about 2 weeks. It comes from the bud of a Colorado strain called Ma'at that tests around 16% CBD and is so low in THC that it can be grown as hemp and shipped everywhere!

Dispensaries in the SF Bay Area all have several high CBD strains, SPARC in particular. It currently has strains named Avocado#20, Swiss Gold, True Bluberry x OG CBD, Veganic Angel Food Kush, Ultraviolet CBD. Common strains are Cannatonic, Harlequin, Stella Blue, Jamaican Lion, HarleTsu, Tsunami anything. Personally I prefer a 1:1 or a 2:1 CBD to THC ratio. AC/DC is a strain that typically tests at 0.7% THC and over 15% CBD. It's good for some pain and is mildly sedating so it's good for anxiety. But I'm not really fond of it.

We have White Widow strains around here that are close to 8% CBD, but they're also 16-20% THC.

I'd recommend Harlequin as well. It looks pretty stony with lots of fine crystals, but it ended up being really mellow and great for pain. I vaped it fairly lightly and ended up cooking with the ABV.

Cannatonic is fantastic. But I saw results from a seed run and many specimens were over 20% THC. I think one or two samples was even 28% THC. It also had some balanced specimens, and some that were mainly CBD, with very little CBD. IIRC there were more specimens (seemed to be three major phenotypes) that were around 20% THC, than balanced or all CBD. The stuff I had was about 1:1. The Harlequin was also about 1:1, but I find that better for at night time. I tried AC/DC and did not like it. You will need to make sure what you are getting actually IS 1:1. If it's not you may be in for a surprise. I think most dispensaries use verified ~1:1 clones though.

I think around a 1:1 ratio is really nice for if you don't wanna get wrecked. That cannatonic gets me yacking my jaw with total strangers, which is highly unusual as I am a shy guy. The cannatonic I had tasted freaking amazing, the harlequin tasted kinda like brick weed from the early 90's but is still pleasant. The ac/dc tasted okay. I actually disliked the effect of that one so much I stupidly threw it in with my 'bud I don't like' jar for a surprise later.

You know what is sad though, is that in every dispensary I have been in the CBD flowers were the most expensive flowers there. They must not yield well.

You could also try vaping sugar leaf/trim/popcorny buds as well. Usually I will vape popcorn buds for less strength, but still okay taste through the vape (as long as they are cured to some degree). I also do stuff like use a domed screen (use ~half that way), fill in a little bit of the area with bits of stem, or mix with trim or ABV as long as the strain isn't one that yields a sulfur smell/taste after the popcorn smell/taste.

I got some Stephen Hawking Kush that's 4.5% thc and 6.8% cbd. Still gets you high but it's fairly mild. I want to get my hands on some cannatonic soon, only heard good things.

based on research elsewhere I was hoping ACDC could do the trick for my issues, but it looks like another YMMV strain....which is prob true of everything. I have a long list of acute and chronic health probs, that I'll detail another time.

Perhaps harlequin or cannatonic.

Pennywise is my next grow. Seems to have closer to 1:1

Damn, everybody is on point here, Awesome...

Tora Bora is prolifically known as one of the best CBD strains, it's oil runs at 110$ a gram in Colorado.

So happy to see all the members with the suggested
Harlequin
Meltdown (one of my faves)
R4
AC/DC

Or industrial Hemp, hemp is filled with CBD .. But no huge mark-up on prices.

It does piss me off that Dispensaries charge nearly 50% more for proven high CBD Strains, especially Tora Bora, Harlequin and Meltdown...

These are relatively easy to grow strains with good yields.

Here in the Pacific Northwest there is a strain we have in the area called Cashy's Honey it is 18%CBD and 8.9 THC. It's sold at the MMJ Farmer's Markets on Saturdays. I've come across a strain called Black Tonic it suppose to be high in CBD levels with that one.
