Back when I did have a grow, I had 3 cats but Blackie (@Melting Pot ) was always there helping me tend to my secret garden. She would chow down on the fan leaves. Whenever I tended to my garden, my little apprentice was there! She was only into "edibles" though. No smoke for her (before my vaping days). A friends cat years ago, would sit in front of whoever had the joint or bong and wait for the smoke. Then follow the smoke to the next person.
For thread continuity: usps tracking says I should get my Nano tomorrow!

My 13 year old dog knocked over a jar of ABV, and being a dog, she immediately sniffed, then ate it. 10-15 minutes later, she was drooling, and then couldn't walk. She was high as a kite. It also stressed her out. She came down after a few hours and is completely ok now. Please be careful with cannabis around your pets!

It probably won't take you long, I've passed out several times now because of this little vape lol! Gotta be careful with the E-nano, can't believe how high it gets me sometimes.....although I've been completely emptying my lungs before taking huge hits.......think I'm just gonna stick with standard lungfuls instead lol.

Ha! That's funny.

When I received my nano back in November, the first few sessions I overdid it big time. Couldn't get over the great taste and easily attainable big clouds. Kept going back for more. Then I woke up on my couch, bent up like a pretzel.

Think there are trade-offs when you change water temps. Cooler is probably going to cause a bit more condensation, but cooler air is more dense so you can fit more of it (and vapor mixed in) into your lungs. Some people find it refreshing, too. Keep in mind @DieHard s post about exhaled vapor being wasted vapor!

If I go with other than room temp water (actually kind of chilly this time of year), I prefer warmer water. Not super hot, but about as hot as it gets from my tap (115 - 120 F?). I find it more soothing. I don't re-heat it as it cools, but actually used one of those coffee warmer things when I was playing with this technique a couple years ago. Needless to say, I didn't really find it worth it. That warmer is tucked away in a drawer somewhere! Although I don't really notice a difference in effectiveness of the vapor, it does allow me to vape easier with a little bit of a sore throat or a cold. This is a pretty big deal for me. Know many want nothing to do with vaping while their sinuses or throat are suffering, but seems to make me crave the relief of a good sesh even more.

Same as pretty much everything... give all a try and do what you enjoy most. You may even find sometimes you like cool water, sometimes warm, sometimes room temp - or sometimes none!

This is something I will definitely be experimenting with & see what I discover. So if using regular ice causes more condensation, what about if I was to use dry ice? What kind of a effect will that have? Would that still make it more condensation?

Dry ice is solid CO2, you'll risque soffocating..

Dry ice is a bad plan.

That said, I find with my nano, the irritation I feel from vapor is due to the long pulls of very dry heat.

When you receive your Nano may find yourself using lower temps, and taking very slow long draws. You may experience this dry heat in your mouth and throat.

The remedy for me is warm water. Not cold.

It may seem counter intuitive at first. But at least for me, cold water is not the option that works best to alleviate the irritation due to hot dry air/vapor.

My cats have been sharing. ... they love the ENano.
Nothing wrong with gentle meds for pets. ... just let them come and go as they wish.

Merri will stick her face up in mine, when her hips hurt. ..she's 15 now, and suffered greatly from poor nutrition for several years. .she's a rescue, too. She usually wants two exhales then she leaves.

The ENano is great for this...always ready, quiet, feels natural.

I now have to keep the plants locked up. .. cat keeps nipping off leaves!

Edited: posted from phone originally. DYA
Same with my cat. He lets me know when hes ready and when hes good. Loves it.

Just opened my freshly delivered e-nano. This thing really is beautiful looking in the light, and I only bought regular cherry, nothing exotic. Thanks Andy and Nadia for quick delivery and a beautiful product. Now the awful wait as I finish all the day's work and errands.

Edit: phew, one of my errands is taking me near a headshop, so I can pick up the screens I forgot to order from epicvape

Vaporization is a phase change from liquid to gas. Condensation is a phase change from gas to liquid. When you heat MJ, vapor forms. Inversely when you cool vapor, condensation forms. It doesnt matter if you use dry ice, ice packs, ice cubes, put your glass in a freezer, etc. It is temperature dependent. Given the same temperature and same amount of surface contact, equal amounts of condensation will form.

I say dont worry about condensation, do whatever is most comfortable, enano is very efficient. You already heard why dry ice is no bueno, but no reason not to experiment with ice, cold, room temp, and warm water.

Congratulations!!! I have the Cherry and even though its not "exotic" its exotic to me. Even from the onset I never thought that my cherry nano looked anything like the one on the website, though the receipt says cherry. You should see how the color turns after youve used it for alittle while. Mines turned into a distinct caramel color and has developed 3 small cracks on it, giving it personality.

Just got my exotic walnut nano . Its smaller than I expected from pictures but well build & love how it looks. Used it dry & it produced good vapor but had a little issue with the gong as I ordered the 14mm instead of 18mm by mistake  Pictures don't do any justice but here it is.

You probably could slide the silicone sleeve down over the 14mm joint to size it up to 18mm as a temporary solution? You can also fold it back on itself to get more thickness

@bren and @Chezgreendream: every E-Nano is uniquely special. My basic walnut model has a rich color and grain texture equally worthy of vaped contemplation as my distinctively figured Hawaiian curly koa.

In fact, I use the walnut more than the koa, and not because I'm treating the koa special for any reason, but because it's the one I grab most often and the one that feels just right.

@ctxgooner..........I havent had time to take new pics of my baby. But I do have these which I posted before. As $un had mentioned before these pics dont do these nanos any juistice.

BLkUkqL.jpg

by the way ctxgooner, that pic you posted of the Nano is a beast If there was a blue nano like that. Is that the Nano you were waiting for?

@$un, that is a beauty. Enjoy my friend. There is minimum learning curve with the nanos, but sometimes you encounter minOr issues. Such as blowback. Ive puffed up my herb many times, and have been looking at the thread from vaped&confused to get an adapter with a carb. I also had the issue with the basket screen falling out while stirring, it was posted here by someone here a fix to that. Sorry, Im at work, so I cant look for it now to give that person credit. But um yeah, overall I have no complaints. It is a well built unit, it looks and feels like its made with love. And I love my nano.

I was screwing around with the settings on my camera on my phone ......that pic is a "negative"

Yeah, I noticed that the second time of round. What I meant is a color like that one on the "negative" would be an awesome color for the nano. It is the long awaited nano. No?

I was just thinking maybe someone can chime in. Is it more efficient to set up the basket screen with the flat end facing up or the open end facing up, like a basket?
I am asking this because I have read here that with the flat end facing up is better. But I was just thinking if one would put the herb in the opened end(basket side) facing up, the herb has more contact with the stainless steel. So I can imagine this would be more efficient when the basket heats up and provide better vapor production.

Thanks bro I hope you enjoy yours also. Try to take some sunlight pictures with no flash to catch those beautiful wood grains. You have to have very steady hands while string your herb because the little basket screen moves about easily. Or you can try using a different screen that's slightly bigger so it fits in more snugged & doesn't move about.

After using the nano since yesterday afternoon I observed it gets me more medicated :tup:than the solo, produces more vapor but also browns & finishes the bowls faster :\. With the solo two pinches would last me about 15-20 minutes also it would take more hits for it to become brownish but with nano after my very first hit it turns brownish, am I doing something wrong? I have it set on about 7.5 on the dial. Also when turning the nano off is it necessary I turn it off from the dial first then unplug it? Would directly unplugging the nano while is working cause harm to the unit? What is the lowest temp where I could get vapor?

My thoughts for improvements: I feel for a unit this size the plug adds a bit of a bulk to it. At times it doesn't sit flat on the desk because of the heaviness of the plug. If Andy can come up with a way to use a plug as the size of the solo, I think it will sit on flat surfaces a little better. This unit comes with very limited accessories compare to other vaporizers I have seen/owned at lower price points. It would be really cool if a bent stem would be included with the package for the bent stem lovers & also a soft long cleaning brush for the heating chamber for when herb falls in would be cool. No complains with the unit it self, it is very well build. When I told my girlfriend this thing was handmade she couldn't believe it. She goes ''wow this guy really build it with his hands? it looks so professional, he does something he loves & makes a living out of it how cool is that, his wife must be proud'' I was thinking the same thing, when you love something you do its not a job its a hobby. Hats off to you Andy, I really admire you & your work bro keep it up. We need to sign up Andy for a episode of ''How its made?'' :D on the discovery channel so we can all see the workmanship behind building a nano.

Youre right bro, Ima put it towards natural light instead of using the flash. Listen, if you start with a lower temp, say 6.5 or a bit lower then gradually build up the herb wont toast as fast and the high is better in my opinion. If you stick with just lower temps you get an energetic high, if you juststick with higher temps you get a more sleepy dreamlike high but you will run through the herb faster. Ive seen it posted on here and thats how it works for me. It could however vary from person to person, but theres no harm in trying.

More medicated.

Yes.

Oh yes.

And it can be ridiculous how much more medicated you can get off of less material than you are accustomed to.

I'm sure it paid for itself in the first month or two in fewer trips to the dispensary.

Now if we only had dispensaries here, it would be like a dream I might never want to wake up from.
