Hey FC'ers, let's see here. I'm mid 40's, do bridge construction, father of 3 (1 daughter& 2 sons). Recently stepped down coaching midget football& little league baseball for my boy's cause of work. Got a 69' bronco to rebuild with my boy's.
I've smoked weed for 25+ yrs. Got into growing with a good friend for a couple of years and had pretty good success at it. We both had clone, mother and veg/flowering rooms, I used 2 aeroflo 20's, 2-1000w hps. I bought ak-47(serious seeds), white widow and skunk #1(sensei seeds). And my bud had blueberry and blue moonshine(dj short).
My friend had the CO2 as I didn't and yeah his buds were bigger. Long story short all good things come to an end. That's another story.
Became an equipment operator and started getting randoms at work. So I left the cannabis scene and started with the "RC" scene. Met a friend online and bought the chems off him as he hooked me with recipes. Make it as strong as you want.lol.
Stopped smoking and making blends for a little while now. Not worth the bs anymore so i came back to the cannabis during lay offs(winter months) only 3 in Pa.here.
My muscle spasms been getting progressively worth each year.(back) I'm thinking it may be my liver or kidney problem. Oh did I say I drank heavy for 30 years and didn't eat the best. The reason I think this is I got turned down for life insurance for my liver enzymes were down and I have hep C. Making a call to the Dr tomorrow for blood work. Time to be honest.
Anyways, started vaping about 8 months to quit smoking but still use both. Bought a ego c vv glass globe and read and read more on concentrates. Did 1 qwiso run last week. Used 91 ISO, got maybe 1.5g back out 12g of bud. I got 14g for another try. Will post in proper thread when I do it.
Also bought some EJmix to make so I can vape in public. Sorry for the grammar and being long. Peace

Hey Thanks @FlyingLow. Glad to be onboard with you all. Definitely some great company here. I just think its awesome how people watch out for others on here and share there advice!!!
I got turned down about a year ago. I been sober for 10 months now, hoping that'll help the numbers on my enzymes. Figured I quit drinking before I got told to do so.
I'm with ya, it will come together because I said so.lol

Hello! Just a quick hello!

Been a long time lurker around here, and just got to setting myself up with an account.

I'm a 22y/o New Englander born and raised. I work in the tech / industrial design / creative world.

I am obviously a vapor enthusiast! I enjoy reading about (read: binge reading), testing out, evangelizing, and generally discussing the merits of vaping. I jumped in with an MFLB plus water pipe adaptor and power adaptor, and then headed over to FC to find my current daily driver-- the Lotus Vaporizer + WPA. I've sampled vapor from most if not all of the FC favorites, but like to preserve some of the simplicity and ritual that seems to disappear with the more tech heavy vapes out there.

I'm also a bit of an ecig guy, and enjoy mixing my herbal vaping with a bit of low / zero nicotine big a** vapor clouds.

I'm a decidedly outdoorsy person. I'm a hammock camper and enthusiast and can be found most weekends chilling out in some trees, vaping some tree.

Nice to meet you all!

The Vape of Things to Come
Hi. I'm a 30-something English guy living as an ex-pat in a beautiful European city, where I do voiceovers for videos, as well as teach English to a few private students.

I've recently ordered a little electric scooter from ebay (a 36v E-Twow) which I plan to use with my pet husky to move around the city. :)

Bought my first Vape in 1996 (back then they were basically upturned soldering irons with little platforms and glass jars over the top).

I bought a Volcano in 2005, and then a Crafty a couple of months ago. Very VERY happy with both of them. Can't imagine I'll ever buy another vape in fact.

Back in 2006 I travelled to the states for a few months to interview, film, and in some cases live with various activists pressing for legal reform to pot laws in the states (back then I contributed to the now defunct Heads mag). Later, I'll dig around and find a nice pic with the late Jack Herer, Eddy Lepp, and myself. Hung around with Jack and his wife for a long time that summer. Absolute gentleman, and terrific embassador for the cause. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

As for varieties, I have to say that nothing will ever beat Cheese (and various crosses/variations). Oh my God that plant is just as good as it gets. :) <3

Welcome Luther.
Have lots of fun... I am sure you've many tales and tips to share, being a seasoned Vaporist!
Can't imagine I'll ever buy another vape in fact.
Watch it pal!
Once you start hanging out with fanatics like us, things can get tricky... as far as your burgeoning interest in the vapes you will be reading about.
As for varieties, I have to say that nothing will ever beat Cheese
Cheese Queen keeps a place on my shelf.
When she's not around Her cousins (Marley's Cheese etc.)will take her spot!

Hope to hear more from you!

Vapriot, Traveler & Vaporizer/ing lover!
I’ve been a smoker for 5 years, and after hearing about e-cigs, figured it was finally a time to give it a try. My friend who’s tried nearly every brand on the market recommended Joy Flavor and have to say I was pretty impressed! The flavor actually tastes like natural tobacco, and the menthol flavor (they call it Cool Cool on their website) isn’t bad either, even though I’ve never been a fan of menthol cigs. Wish it was carried in some stores closer to me, though.

Welcome to FC I encourage you to get to know the whole Site. You will find more information here on vaporizing herbs and concentrates then you will find at any other place on the internet. I'm sure you will also enjoy the hospitality of all the members. Everyone is minding their Pints & Quarts like an adult here on FC, cheers!

Hello everyone, I've been browsing the forum for quite some time now and have come to really enjoy and respect the knowledge that a lot of the members have. I recently started my own review site (vapesreview.com) and was looking for opinions and thoughts on what you guys would like to see? I don't get paid for my reviews and it is more a labor of love than a business venture. However I want to make the site the best it can be so I'm looking for any and all feedback.

Thanks all.

i keep finding new threads on this great forum. a lot of like minded people.

hi everyone, my name is anthony. i live in beautiful central california.

4 1/2 years ago i began my recovery from opiate based pain killers to cannabis only.

the transition has been the best thing that has happened to me.

i used the patch to stop smoking cig's. as the transition from tobac/canna smoke, to just canna smoke, i could really see a change in phlegm being expected. (i have smoked since my youth, and am quite frankly sic of it.)

coincidentally, (not likely) my brother was given in trade, a few vaporizers from his aquarium business.

2 are matching, oil PV's and 1 is a thermovape t1,

these vaporizers have opened my eye's to so many facets of medical cannabis.

i am expanding how i ingest the concentrates lately, with wonderful effects.........

ive run my 1st 2 oz's of dry herb in the TET T1, and WOW. how incredibly delightful!!!

i think i have ruined joints for me, they taste like, industrial exhaust.
now to eliminate the batteries on T1 and contemplate something like the LSV.

its nice to browse threads w/o shill's ease our minds.

im looking at portables too.

my real life dealio is commissioned sales, ive been on hiatus from....
i have been told that i am at times a 'lil too enthusiastic. but its just an opinion.

ohh yeah, i almost forgot, i let my brother know that dude was trading older tech vapes for even older fish, so he hired him...

i love you all,
-anthofranco

Hi.. Late to the party.. I am a 43 year old welder/brazer/fabricator/machinist in the refrigeration racket with no imagination for forum nick names.

I am 4 years married with a young daughter. I have driven an 89 supra for the last decade and probably this next one too. All my shirts are black T's and all my pants are Levi 501's. Combusting for about 30 years, been vaping regularly for a few months now. Dabbing for over a year? Im hooked! I get like that.

I like anything that grows, has gears, batteries, bubbles, heat, pressure, light and or is dangerous! I have made fire from water, tools that "can"t be made", I like to make things more efficient if possable. When something at work is not working they call me to figure out why and fix it. Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual. I often quote movies in posts.

I don't use spell check and if I did I would probably forget punctuation and grammar. Nice to meet you all, great place!

I'm a young college student finishing up a secondary education major and political science major. I am a coach for a small college football program ,so I tend to keep to myself and prefer low key (state employees can ya feel me? ) I enjoy video game, anime, politics and philosophy but my passion is football. I smoke due to enjoyment, but medically I have manic depression and dysthymia The herb helps me calm down and keep events that may trigger a serotonin, dopamine drop to a minimum. Especially being in a leadership postion, mental illness cannot be shown. I'm a pretty chill dude, and I would love to meet some people and make friends. What's up y'all

I'm Micke and I thought I'd post my intro here.

I've been lurking awhile so first off, thank you to all for all the info you kindly share. Excellent site, IMHO.

Thanks to the FC Haze threads, I went ahead and ordered one of the Haze v2.5's yesterday evening through Massdrop. Yeah, some possible warranty risks buying it thru MD, but ya' know how a tight budget is?

I'm a middle aged guy & early ret 13 years ago. Multi-trauma survivor so of course, the pain and other scripts were wrecking me. Some recent success with MJ edibles.. using a lot less pharmaceutical poison. Because of that success and despite the fact that I've never smoked anything -ever-, I've decided to see if the airbags and pie hole  can tolerate vaping.

If the MJ can do a better job with pain and inflammation without so many side effects, it is my hope to return to more hiking, some mild dualsport motorcycling, maybe make a pilgrimage to Whittington Center every now and then...

But for now, some progress to the good is gratifying.

I'm not just here to medicate. I hope to figure out the fine details of getting baked.:freak: Well, once in awhile.

I have some seeds so I might try a small/lawful home grow. Oops, I guess I just ID'd my state, eh?

Hey guys! First time member but i have been lurking for the last while devouring as much information as i can each day and would like to say this site is awesome !! and so valuable with the vast amount of info on pretty much everything to do with vaping. Not to mention the friendly and warm atmosphere here also make it a very welcoming place :)

Shortly after finding this site and doing all the reading i could i bought my first desktop a month later, the Extreme Q. Than a month later the Solo. I believe in supporting my fellow Canadian manufacturer's when i can. And, just after a month and a bit of owning my solo i acquired the normal PVHES from PV and all i can say is i am blown away! These should be the standard stem on all Solos!! (make that happen PV lol) It has become my daily driver now and will soon order a d020 piece as well to start throwing water into the equation . I also have the E-nano and Mighty on my list of necessary future purchases to come shortly. VAS is very real and very easy to come down with  lol

I also will be receiving my med card shortly, primarily for cluster headaches and the very sore and stiff neck muscles and depression that occur as a result of them. SO far i have found primarily vaping very helpful and cant wait to see what will happen with access to constant quality medicinal material. I love my concentrates and actually first discovered rosin here and have been enjoying it a lot with my oil rig lately  Need an E-Nail and carb cap too lol

Well i dont want to make this too long and have so much to say and contribute and cant wait to get more comfortable around here and interacting with everyone. I would like to thank you all for taking the time and heart for the informative, sometimes humorous posts too that have really helped advance my knowledge and assist in my vape purchases and future purchases. You guys rock. Keep it greassssyyy.:leaf::bowdown::D

First post! Hi. Name's Lucas. 23. I'm from Philadelphia. I'm an alcoholic. 2 liter bottle of sweet tea vodka every 3 days for over 2 years... About... 8 or 10 months ago, I slowly started replacing alcohol with weed... I hated being high. But slowly... It grew on me. Aside from bar-going after a concert on March 1st, I've pretty much ridden myself of alcohol... Been weed only for about 6 months... Started off at 1/8 a week, now I'm vaping about an oz a week... Aside from the fact that I'm a bit more broke, I feel so much better. Lol. I too was on medication most of my life. Concerta/methylphenidate for 'concentration', clonidine for sleep... Off those. And on top of that, I have chronic pain from having a piece of gray matter removed when I was a kid... I can honestly say that I feel like Marijuana is saving my life... Pic taken two minutes ago. Cheers, everyone. :)

That's par for the course. If you really want to give vaporizing a good try, quit smoking and vape only for about a week. That'll give you a chance to experience a clean high, which you can't get with smoke. Smokers attribute ALL the effects from smoking to cannabis, while the truth is that you get smoke byproducts as well, and the sedative effect from those have nothing to do with mj. It could be that you'll end up preferring smoke over vapor, if you like the more wasted high and smoke doesn't bother you. Vaping isn't for everyone, but it's growing in popularity all the time.
