Is there any other stems that will work with the nano? I really don't like the straight stems much & I'm really used to the curved solo stem. Is there any third party curved stems that will work with the nano?

Really? This is very interesting, I have never heard this before. Can you tell me more about it please? What's the science behind it? So if room temperature water gets me more medicated, what will happen if i used hot water? What effect will that have?

Very interesting....I learned something new today, thanks bro! So let me ask you what does the water filtration do to the vapor? Is it more potent taking direct hits?

I got one of these and it works great for my D020-D. I do need a way to adjust the heat though. For now I set the bubbler on it for just a few minutes at a time so it doesn't get too hot!

Think there are trade-offs when you change water temps. Cooler is probably going to cause a bit more condensation, but cooler air is more dense so you can fit more of it (and vapor mixed in) into your lungs. Some people find it refreshing, too. Keep in mind @DieHard s post about exhaled vapor being wasted vapor!

If I go with other than room temp water (actually kind of chilly this time of year), I prefer warmer water. Not super hot, but about as hot as it gets from my tap (115 - 120 F?). I find it more soothing. I don't re-heat it as it cools, but actually used one of those coffee warmer things when I was playing with this technique a couple years ago. Needless to say, I didn't really find it worth it. That warmer is tucked away in a drawer somewhere! Although I don't really notice a difference in effectiveness of the vapor, it does allow me to vape easier with a little bit of a sore throat or a cold. This is a pretty big deal for me. Know many want nothing to do with vaping while their sinuses or throat are suffering, but seems to make me crave the relief of a good sesh even more.

Same as pretty much everything... give all a try and do what you enjoy most. You may even find sometimes you like cool water, sometimes warm, sometimes room temp - or sometimes none!

I'm thinking that seeing a huge cloud upon exhale is wasteful. If you exhale it, it can't get you high.
Ghost that shit!

TOTALLY agree with you on this one!!! No real science here, but after decades of smoking and vaping I think big hits do get you a little higher faster. Good analogy from Max of liquor compared to beer. Think this is mostly because of the pressure created while trying to hold that big hit in. Not so much in more absorbed into your lungs or bloodstream, but because of the pressure you create inside of your body. Think pretty much the same results can be had with a smaller hit if you push hard with your diaphragm (recreate feeling of trying to hold a big one in) while holding your breath before exhaling. I suppose there could be a perfect sized hit that is totally absorbed, so you get the most out of it and exhale virtually nothing. Have only played with this a little bit, but I sure couldn't find it! I still think most effective way is to take decent sized hit, exhale half, inhale fresh air, repeat as long as you like and are seeing vapor on exhale. One or two fresh inhales are usually plenty for me.

Some people really do get a thrill from the big clouds and huge cloud exhales, though. Have at it if that turns you on. But, please don't pull it from my stash! The only benefit I see here is that the dog gets to catch a better contact high. And, mine does just fine with the smaller hits. When he feels like joining me in a sesh he sits right next to me as soon as the nano goes on the bubbler and sits there with his nose inches away waiting. Once he has enough, he turns his head when I clear the bubbler so I know not to exhale into his face. He also will only take the first 2 hits off a load. He can't count, but can tell from the smell and turns his head quickly when I try to give him a third or later hit. But, then knows it will be good again after I reload. Silly dog! Wish he could learn other things as well!

PM or send an email to nadia@epicvape.com for RMA instructions. Lets get you setup with the right size gong!

Welcome @nadia_epic !! Glad to see you here in the thread!

There aren't any stock ones from Epic. @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd could probably work one up for you, but not sure how practical. I think it is much better to keep your stem angled down in use (nano end higher) - definitely on the first hit or two until the load gets stickier and compressed in the chamber. It's kind of hard to really get if coming from solo to nano until you use the nano. The solo has that heating chamber that the glass slides into. Bad as that is for creating more conduction and less convection, it keeps the load in place. nano glass goes on outside of heater element with no oven, or catch basin of any sort. So, little bits can fall out if you wiggle the stem, big bits will fall out if you start to pull the stem and some is bound to fall down into the heater element sleeve. Those bits that fall out fall into the nano around the heating stem. Not really a problem, and easy to clean out with a long q-tip, but why have to bother with it? And, you can roast and shake out what falls into the heater sleeve. Tipping it up lets gravity hold the load in place and no need to worry about all of that. And, if inverted on a GonG the issue isn't even there. So, if you really like to solo habitrail style the curved stem would be fine. Or, it could allow you to keep the nano at a good angle (business end tipped down) and have glass level or even tipped up a bit.

Some HI stems will work on the nano, but don't think Alan does any with an angle either. So, Joda may be the only way to go if you really want one. Or, you could use a piece of silicone as a link (old school UD/HI style) if you have an angled piece of glass tubing that is close to right size. Solo stem would probably even work if you're good with stretching little pieces of silicone over glass. Think you should be OK with hi-temp silicone. But, you won't find me putting a piece of silicone on my heating element!

Is it a good thing or a bad thing that video is one of the most life changing things I've ever seen on youtube?

It truly is, though! Thanks for posting the actual vid @steama ! Link to it all the time, but haven't sat and watched the whole thing for at least 6 months. IMO it ought to pop up when you hit the order button on epicvape.com. Plenty of other ways to nano too, but still like this one best!
Well, close I should say. Hits like that first one are sadly a thing of the past for me. :myday: I load mine a little smaller, and still get another hit after a stir. My AVB usually looks about the same.

Vapor dabbing. No pauses, no words, just delicious vapor.... I highly recommend HD 1080p, as then you can see the vapor in the JHook...

Wow! I experienced my first every combustion event wi. the E-Nano. I loaded too big of a hit of Kief and it quickly combusted at barely past 8 on the dial. I thought it was at 6.5. Oops. That awful, wasteful, and I've got cleaning to do now.

Happened to me on a few occassions I leave it on the 10 dial to heat up, then I forget to put it at 6.5 I then noticed really thick clouds and instant high after that I noticed parts of the herb black, I take a glimpse at the dial. Still says 10. And Im like Aaaahhhh Shhhit!!! Funny thing is Im usually a take 4 tokes per session person, gradually bumping up the dial after hits, but the other day with 3 tokes at a lower temp than usual I was super high for some reason. Which isnt bad but I was alittle baffled.

Interesting you mentioned about your dog joining you on the shesh. I used to have a dog and when I used to combust before the evolution of my Cannabis use, he used to sit right in front of me and put his nose in the air sniffing everywhere. Now, I never called him and he was a hyper dog who wouldnt sit still, but during my session he used to wait for me to blow the clouds of smoke in his face. His face used really mellow out and relax. And he used to act like a clown after that. Barking at everything that moved, playing with his shadow and rolling all over the floor and doing lots of silly things. I sure miss him.

Dont want to derail the thread but yeah man some dogs seem to like their MJ lol. Others not so much! One day when vaped out on blue dream I thought about how fucking cool it is that dogs like humans have endocannabinoid receptors; we are evolutionary similar. Perhaps this is why many people feel closer with furry animals compared to a reptile/fish/amphibian.

That was my high-dea.

My chihuahua will stand on the edge of my bed (near my desk/vape area) and smell the air. He will jump into my lap and also beg for it.

Now to get back on topic, I would recommend using extreme caution when dosing animals. Dosing and constant monitoring and re-evaluating is important. Dogs nose are sensitive and the enano is a beast. Be VERY careful to not irritate their sensitive nose and even more careful of the amount they get.

I have a cat that is very attracted by the scent of cannabis. I hsve no idea if it achieves any effect, but I don't try to expose it to anything. And this can is such a jerk they he really could use some CBD to Msybe mellow himself the fuck out. Oldest, most decrepit cat in the house, but he's the one that ambushes my ankle 10.times a day with full claws and teeth. Little bastard imprinted on and was raised by a St. Bernard as a week old orphaned kitten and nobody ever taught him how to be a cat. So he thinks he's a dog but can't manage his feline instincts. A real Jeckyl/Hyde. Jerk.

Edit: Damn it. I actually had an on-topic thought but lost it.

Embarrassing. Sorry. Carry on.

I can't wait to get the nano, soon as it arrives I'm gonna fire it up and take a Michael Phelps style bong rips to the head till I pass out.

It probably won't take you long, I've passed out several times now because of this little vape lol! Gotta be careful with the E-nano, can't believe how high it gets me sometimes.....although I've been completely emptying my lungs before taking huge hits.......think I'm just gonna stick with standard lungfuls instead lol.

Youre definately right. I used to have another dog before the one I mentioned and he never liked the Cannabis smell. Though the dog that liked it, as you said,he used to beg for it, Like it was a treat. I never forced either one to smell it, though it was close to impossible for them not to smell alittle bit as I sat there by my opened window blowing smoke out. It was the last thing on my mind to blow Cannabis smoke in a dogs face, so it made me curious when my dog used to just sit patiently in front of me with his nose in the air.

Im probably going to get blasted here for promoting Cannabis use for animals. I dont promote it, but I dont condone it either. however, I do not believe that edibles should be given to animals, because thats a whole different thing. And with the link you provided it makes sense how Cannabis used in that sense can be toxic for any anima. I just wanted to mention that everywhere you go, people act different and treat their animals different. In my country they feed dogs bones, which I read many times over that one shouldnt. But theyve been doing it forever and I never heard any issues. They also give dogs people food and the dogs there dont get fat because they have alot of room to run and play. What I mean to say, is that I think the mentality of things has to do with the persons upbringing and where they are from.

My cats have been sharing. ... they love the ENano.
Nothing wrong with gentle meds for pets. ... just let them come and go as they wish.

Merri will stick her face up in mine, when her hips hurt. ..she's 15 now, and suffered greatly from poor nutrition for several years. .she's a rescue, too. She usually wants two exhales then she leaves.

The ENano is great for this...always ready, quiet, feels natural.

I now have to keep the plants locked up. .. cat keeps nipping off leaves!
