What did they say to you when you asked?

i am telling you.my friend asked and the answer he got was send the unit in and we send you a replacement right away. 10 days after his faulty unit arrived at inhalater they told him its not repairable you arent getting anything. Instead of sending it back and paying even more money so that they tell me we are not sending anything or something like pay 200 extra to get the new version (which for me is not a solution any more) i prefere to be without vaporizer and not pay extra shipping for nothing.

Yes, you told us before. You've stated your problem, now it's time to stop posting about it and let @Inhalater respond. Under our rules, you get to state your complaint once and the manufacturer gets one chance to respond, then nobody posts until you've come to some resolution. Please don't return to this issue until then. You might feel that it is already resolved, in which case please don't post about it again. Thanks for your cooperation.

Now I see that you just got your hand slapped so I hope I'm not getting either of us in trouble here but I just felt I had to chime in too....
This manufacturer has been very fair to me.... can I say issues were handled with a "No questions asked" attitude... No I can't say that... but they have been very fair and honest when doing business with me...

This almost feels like one of those lunch time TV court shows.... something seems to be missing..? The way you told the story your friends RMA wasn't rejected until after the manufacturer had time to diagnose the unit.... so it could be possible that the unit was damaged in such a way as to void the waranty for your friend and he just doesn't want to hear or accept that answer..... but that doesn't mean the same thing will happen in your case.....

I jumped on board back in Q2 of 2013 and I have had 2 XP replacements as well as an 05 and I too went for the upgrade to the "S" mod..... was always treated very fairly.... I did have to wait sometimes for rather extended periods of time too.... but in the end...happy and satisfied....

I would think that you should be able to describe to them what has occurred to cause the failure....if we are talking about the INH05 we have several warranty opportunities;
1. Unit smokes when replacing the battery - issue has been identified & resolved --> warranty
2. Unit smokes after being dropped - battery crushes switch circuit board --> No warranty
3. Unit trips thermal safety often or too soon - Issue has been identified --> warranty
4. Unit takes almost 12 hours to charge fully - issue identified & resolved --> warranty
They should be able to give you some idea via email or phone what may have failed if there are enough details....but even then if they were to make a reasonable prediction of the issue being in or out of warranty....this does not mean that once they diagnose the devise they might discover the real reason to be something not covered under normal warranty.....
I would then be looking or hoping for a possible sub-rated discount on a new unit, which I believe I may have read they have done for some folks in the past.....

So I would strongly recommend that you give them the benefit of doubt here.... especially if you are confident that your issue was not do to neglect or misuse on your part.... but likewise if it has suffered a decent fall or whatever that may end up voiding your warranty......then Yea I wouldn't want to spend money on shipping it back either......

Good Luck..... I have found them to have fair and honest business dealings..... sorry about your friend's scenario.... Did either of you catch the Valentines special.. a brand new 05 with aero & glass cap plus a grinder all for $175.... if you void warranty.... maybe they would still honor the sale price for your friend.....never hurts to ask..... :peace:

You were told not to post about this again. 2 warning points issued.
3. Unit trips thermal safety often or too soon - Issue has been identified --> warranty

this was my friends problem and it was doing it from day 10 and they told him its normal till it started doing it from temperature 5. because he had mentioned the unit is faulty from very early and they told him it was normal when it stoped working they told him right away without any other option (actually saying it was the best way to solve it) to send it back and when they receive it it ill help them understand better the problems and help them become better and they will ship him a brand new unit "with some extras to cover the hassle"(quote) and then poof no replacement.just the option to get discount for new unit like you mentioned.maybe its just me and my friend that dont find that really nice.

Greg,

You're not gonna believe it. Or maybe you've already tried. But I'm vaping cuban cigar flavored e-cig liquid in the Inhalater. And it works great. Large clouds, much less dramatic than with e-cigs, but not noisy with sudden heat flare ups and die downs like a roller coaster...just steady as she blows, due to even temperature maintainance.

I'm using tea as a base, but you could use organic tobacco, herb, perhaps organic cotton (absolutely nothing grown with pesticides, as they'd enter the lungs in concentrated form in vapour. You could also use spent material, to ensure the minimum of residual flavor.

A couple of drops of e-cig liquid into a capsule filled with substrate vapes nice clouds at any temp...up to the 4th setting. this has a real nice steady smoking the pipe feel. (Propylene glycol combusts at around 188 C, so about a third of any unoxygenized molecules break off and form bonds to become formaldehyde at higher temps, which again would be inhaled in concentrated form. But the vaping experience is clean if maintained at setting 4 or below. Chinese-manufactured cartomizers currently offer voltage regulation, but temperature control is lacking, and so some of the pg boils off, but not with the Inhalater. I believe temp. control could be the next wave and leave cartomizers in the dust)

So...

Lol been doing this for like the past 6 months. No dry hits. A lot of vapor, great experience.

I have done the same using Marijuana tincture made with Vegetable Glycerin.
Many community members use the MMJ tincture in ecigs in place of e-juice, and it works and medicates most successfully.
I have used the Inhalater for this, using cotton as my wicking material.

I just drop some homemade ejuice in my weed. Really started liking it. Hits are much smoother and they dont feel dry at all. Note I always hold the inh upside down and use the aero capsules at fully opened air hole., I use 100% VG as my base for ejuice, some nicotine (former smoker), and sometimes I put flavor. You might have to slowly bump up the temp. Start at like 2-3 and U can end the bowl at 9 if U want in like 25 min. Fill up the capsule 1/2 full, put 2 drops, fill up the rest of the capsule.
I do that all the time now with all my vapes.

Wow! There's some pretty neat stuff out there these days! Every time I walk past one of those old-fashioned smoke shops (do those still exist?) there was always a strong smell of Borkum Rif pipe tobacco. My uncles house smelled of that, and it reminds me of when I was young... but the wife wasn't really up for the idea of letting me try it as potpourri... ;)

I'm thinking about getting the inh5 from puffitup. What capsules come with it? Does the inh5 have the boost mode ?

So I found out it comes with the standard capsules. Are those any good?would it be worth it if I bought a glass capsule along with the inh5

The INH05 is the regular. The INH05S is the boosted version.

I like the regular capsules a lot, but the aero's are great once you get the hang of them (I'm a slow learner)...

Order a few extra caps, and a glass cap. I'd recommend the WT adapter, as well, even if you don't use water...

Yeah, I'm gunna have to get me one of those S version. Greg me in mind for a BLACK s version

good news with the PICK tool. I did get the screen out on my 004xp. I've been ripping thru the old post on the 004xp thread for instructions on how to clean the heating chamber. INHALATER doesn't recommend doing that at all, but I found one post that recommends a q-tip with less cotton on it and a small amount of ISO. I'm tempted but gunna think about it for a while.

STill haven't USED the ultimate package yet. Just getting it ready for use, but I'm still 2 months away from doing business. I'm sadly buying music supplies still. Any advice on cleaning the heating chamber of an n004 xp would be fantastic, I think I've got a Q2 model but if not it's a Q3 model.

I still love this vape, but I'll need one more of these just to have the complete set. So I'm ponying up for an INH05 S sometime this summer. I NEED it so frigin bad it hurts to wait. hahha

my xpb 1232 still lives!!!

I'd love to know if I'm working with a Q2 model of the xp version. Its XPB 1232 >> I've used a lot of people here for sure as guinea pigs, so thanks for that part. I was told right away that not everyone was so lucky, but anyways, I did manage to crack the screen off the thing recently with the PICK TOOL and I found some post on the old xp thread that one guy used a tool to pick some of the resin out that builds up around the air intake holes and then suck it out with a straw. I did that, & it worked great.

Before inserting a new screen I managed to clean the thing with some 99% ISO on a q tip that was almost bare and had most of the cotton removed to make it as thin as possible. I did this several times and then cleaned up with a damp q-tip before moving on to dry ones. Did the vacume thing a few more times with a straw and the air flow seems to be improved. Upon opening there is usually some brownish deposits around the air intake holes.

Anyways, if anybody knows the XPB 1232 and what quarter that is, I'm assuming it's a q2, but mine still works though I'm careful how I turn it on/off to be gentle, and I'm very careful regarding the usb port not to do anything or even charge it on it's side.

I think it's fair to say this company IHALATER or PHARMACORE holds the best patent. Given time and interested users that see the POT-tential in the product, it will eventually have the bugs worked out, so that being the case, I devoted myself to drop at least a thousand on this idea to start the ball rolling. When I order an S model early this summer, it will be about one grand I've invested. Keep that in mind. You can't really say you helped the idea to succeed until you've dropped about a grand. I'd never think twice about having a few of these units lying around and saying I took a decent shot at it. I'm sure the product will succeed and those that caught on early will be the people that know a secret that my local vape lounge doesn't know about sadly.

At least not till I walked in the door. G'day mates and here's to great ideas, mine started here. I own 2 of them currently!

I only heard about inhalater last fall when I was searching for info on the Pax, which my doc recommended. I'm on my second one now (swapped out the 05 for an S), and am a huge fan! It travels well (I'm typing this on an iPad in some sleazy motel in a wee redneck mountain town, and no one batted an eye when I walked into Safeway turning it off :)

This is a great unit and I look forward to seeing the product roadmap unfold! I know I sound kinda like a fanboy, but I guess I am... Does that make me a bad person? :)

Hey guys; you're fantastic! REally warms the heart .
Business has been hard. I would not recommend to a friend to get into the vaporizer development and manufacture :-/

But yes; I know we will succeed and be the king of the crop in a near future. We just got the basic technology sorted out and we got some amazing developments in store.

I dare to ask: is it a good idea to make a new Indiegogo campaign? A good campaign would be a key to get on top!

@play2GETpaidTUESDAYStoned . The Q2 could be indentified by the thin strips of the heating chamber. With a picture maybe we can see!

I clean mine out regularly, sit there after a session so it is nice and warm and it just scrapes off nice with a small knitting needle, i eat it, think it works :)
I'm blown away by how much you get out of vaping as opposed to smoking, i can get a couple of sessions out of 1 load in my glass, starting off at 2 and finishing on dizzy heights of 7.5 just to cover whole spectrum of released goodness. I like to leave some in so i can sprinkle AVB on my nightime crackers and cheese, lovely nutty flavour :)
I have now not touched tobacco for nearly 4 months, longest i've abstained in my 25 year smoking career, definitely with the help of a vape, i need some sort of habit in my life :)
The only downer about the glass pipe is the look when i'm out walking the dog, looks a bit seedy and less e-cig like but hey ho. Still trying to make a sheath to go over it out of wood, wish i had a lathe, but i do like to whittle :) Photo to follow
Sorry for rattling on, that's a yes you can use it from me :)
