Discontinued Lily vaporizer by Triihouse

Missing screens, missing mouthpieces - too much too soon, a universal problem with product launches. I wish Triihouse the best. The work is beautiful. I debate whether to continue using my cracked heat intake or wait for its replacement. With a torn MFLB screen, it's either Lotus or Buddha; although, I have to admit, some friends came over a few nights ago, and I rolled a perfect joint with Girl Scout Cookies. I swear, we were high as a kite.

First world problems eh?

Yeah I'm currently sipping on my flowermate before class. Totally wanted to hit a bowl in the Lily though :\

Edit: Also, if any of you that already have a Lily can maybe provide me with info on what size screens I should get, I would highly appreciate it!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everybody!

I am Brenna , owner (and founding member) of Triihouse. I joined to forum to help Tommy while he is so busy in production. If you have any issues, concerns, or comments feel free to send me a direct message on here or contact me via e-mail at brenna@triihouse.com

Although I have been a spectator for a very long time, this is my first post here on FC!

I really want to start by saying thank you! Thank you to all of you for your awesome support. We got our start here on FC and you have stuck by our side.

As a company Triihouse is in a state of growth and with that comes a few growing pains. You all have been so patient and understanding. You have rallied around us as we adapt to a new pace (and learn a new computer system.) We could not be more appreciative.

We have a lot of plans for the future. Tommy has a number of models currently in prototype form, on paper, and some that are still just coming together in his head. (And YES some of those are water toys! :) Actually there are a few water related goodies coming up in 2015, the first of which should be out in or before April)

I assure you that we are working hard to get your orders to you to as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. Triihouse vaporizers are all hand crafted. All of the glass and stainless steel components are currently made in-house. We understand the pro and cons of this situation and are working towards adapting as necessary. However that adaptation is not an overnight process.

This is also the reason we have not been able to release a video as of yet. Videos, updated instructions, and updates to the website are all in the works.

I know a concern that is mentioned often is the price of international shipping. The reason that shipping is set at Priority International is because that is the most affordable option that includes both tracking and insurance. At this time we feel that it is the best option to protect both us and our customers. We have been discussing what our other options are (and soon you should at least see a UPS options as well.)

Another topic that has come up is exotic wood. Tommy has been looking into different types of wood to find which will work best. We are excited about the possibilities!

We will of course keep all of you updated when new things are happening at Triihouse, and you can feel free to follow us on Twitter, IG Facebook, etc... to see a little more from us and get to know us a little more as well as get in on some behind the scenes action.

@uhmod I sent you an e-mail regarding your issue.

Thank you again for all of your support! I am really looking forward to being more involved with the community here.

No other screens you can pop out of something else (like a hammer stem(not sure they fit just sayin')) and make do with for now.

It would drive me crazy if i had lily and no screens or torch, I feel for ya to say the least.

i'm startin to get the notion that i lose an O ring and got no seal. imagine having meds, lily, screens, torch, but no seal. i'll have to ocd a dozen or so sets of O rings and hide them somewhere i won't be able to find when time comes. sound familiar?

Thanks and props for putting a name along with product Brenna.

You and Tommy should be proud of your success. The hard work that goes in to your art is self-evident.

And as far as all the snivelling going on, please understand that it's like a kid waiting for gift-mas for some of us. Well, not me though as my Daisy tranquilized me through the waiting period.

Welcome Brenna! Great to have both of you here in the community, and your company in the world

Thrilled that the water model will be released soon, Tommy had mentioned it to me recently in a message about the Lily, but I kept it under my hat until it was more official.

I've been hooking my friends Daisy up to bubblers using the whip and its really awesome so hearing about the water model made me want to wait instead if getting a Lily, but seeing @steama mod his, I figured I could take a bit of tubing and a right angle gong to connect Lily and hold it to the bubbler....

So I went ahead and ordered a walnut (#588) over the weekend, something tells me I won't regret it regardless and will of course still want to have the water model as well...

All I can say is Wow Wow Wow, been lovin' the Lily a lot. So nice for quick big hits, and when the mood strikes for little tasty sipper hits too.

Thank You Triihouse team, your hard work is so appreciated.

While waiting for arrival of official Lily (3 air inlet openings), I would like to share this quick video of early Lily delivering a lung busting huge hit from the very first draw of a fresh bowl (approximately 0.06g of fresh medium grind).

Above bowl was cashed within 2 to 3 hits, abv was gold color, just love it. Thanks again to Tommy and Brenna.

EDIT: Jam you beat me to my own video post lol, you are amazing and fast, good to have you here.

EDIT 2: I've been having good results without covering any of the air inlet holes. It works blocking them also but have to be careful as the higher heat makes it easy to scorch if not ready for it. So far been mostly using a medium grind however found that she works well with kief, fine grinds and even whole nugs. When vaping a whole nug, I take one or two hits, then crush the crispy nug in palm of my hand and draw herb powder back into the bowl, the next hit will be huge most often. Below is a video of an end-to-end session that shows load after 2nd hit, then again after 4th hit.

I hear you on that, I'm going to order more asap, I see myself losing it pretty quickly and find i'm a bit paranoid about them now myself.

i've a handful of torches, a case of butane, a bunch of screens, and only one of each o-ring. And I'm sure I'm going to lose the small one while taking off the periscope, sooner then later since them's small and they bounce.

I too figured on losing a o-ring or two and ordered a extra set with my Lily kit. I have not been super careful when it comes to small objects that belong to vapes. From the video I can see lily performs as great as her sister that is awesome. I think that Daisy had changed my vas to everything Triihouse. They do put a lot ot thought and love into there products. I will be ordering a few extra periscopes, just so I will be prepared in case of an accidental fall or more likely in my case a drop. I can see my self taking Lily everywhere with me, while I leave Daisy at home to handle the majority of sessions. It will fit much better while I am trail riding. I love the extraction rate I can have with daisy and hope I can achive similar results from Lily while out and about.

Got my Lily today finally. All of you still waiting, it is ABSOLUTELY worth it.

Have had 3 bowls so far and must say it seems even more efficient and controllable than the Daisy, IMO (I am just covering the end hole, but I pulse cover it which seems to help increase the turbulence). Vapor is noticeably warmer, but this has the build quality and uniquely strong vape signature that I now associate with Triihouse vaporizers.

I thought this would be a lower powered unit than the Daisy, but I'm very happy to discover it hits equally hard in the smaller form factor, great thick dense clouds that I think ex heavy smokers would like, plus I'm getting more vapor than I seem to get with her big sister and from a smaller bowl (!). I think this thing is magical.

I have that same Jobon torch lighter as in the video it is perfect for Triihouse products. Great video by the way.

Just a quick comment: I want the mildest draw that I can get. The one time I found the Lily harsh was when I was covering the holes. I think covering the holes works like a carb but I'm not sure.

It's good and bad news to me about the prototypes. This has become an expensive addiction (buying vapes and glass not vaping itself)

Here goes sharing one's opinion so sorry in advance. This depends how high on the list a mild draw is to you? Is it the most important aspect or just important? It matters because I do not find the Lily to be a 'mild hitting vape' like for example the Firefly can be called a mild hitting vape. In my opinion the Lily is a hard hitting vape and that is one of the reasons I love the Lily. That said, I think you could well develop a technique for mild hits. I would start with low heat, short flame, and medium draws and see what your results are. You may also want to speed your draw for more air in your vapor. Then just play around with the variables like the knobs on an old stereo. Eventually you can find your sweet spot with a little experimentation. :peace:
My definition of mild is totally subjective- it's whether I cough or not during and after for several hours. MFLB is the harshest I've tried. I'll try your suggestions to see if I can get it milder.

My Firefly gets pretty harsh, not mild at all (My first one was less harsh, but still far from mild) Now my Elevape is another story, some of the smoothest staright hits I ever had...

With the Lily I'm concerned about the harshness, but seems like I can finagle various things to help that (I enjoy low temps too), plus my goal is to connect it to the bubblers so if that works out it'll be how I use it most often anyhow

Here are some photos of my new gal  I asked Tommy to give me two different halves of wood, the top is walnut and her bottom is Maple. I really like the two-tone aesthetic of her, like a uniquely colored dog or cat.

Maple is a new wood Triihouse is offering, although I don't think it's available in their store yet as an option. The maple is very similar in color to the Cherry, but it has a less pronounced grain.

Lily1.jpg

Here she is below split in half with the heat port nestled in its storage compartment. I sent Tommy some constructive criticism about this part of the design. The glass piece rattles a bit inside when stored away inside Lily, I wonder if making the storage hole have a larger mouth like the exterior heat port so that the o-ring could be seated into it would solve the rattling issue. It's not a big deal, but I think would get her even closer to perfection. I hope this suggestion doesn't give Tommy any angst, I know what a perfectionist he is.

Lily2.jpg

Here she is with the top swiveled out a little. I also love how the mouthpiece is adjustable for length/depth, shown below is about how far I extend it to draw.

Lily3.jpg

Here's my Triihouse family. I got a Cherry MP for Daisy so that she won't get jealous and you can see in the pic what I mean about the thick graining.

I also picked up two wood butter dispensers, please note that these come in "iip balm" type dispensers and not the little jars shown on Triihouse's webstore, this was a welcome surprise as it's very easy to use this way. I massaged some into both Lily and Daisy this morning and they both loved it.

Lily4.jpg

I am blown away by the quality of these vaporizers and I will be a loyal Triihouse customer for a long time if they keep this up. Word of new innovations has me excited like others here and now that we have @matte green participating it just gets better and better. Please everyone be respectful of her so she doesn't go anywhere. :nope:

I hope I can keep these things clean and performing well over time, these have surpassed everything else in my vaporizer arsenal and if something ever comes along to displace these, I will be in vapor heaven. Oh wait, I already am....

My mouthpieces falls right out so I am keeping them in the tin separate from the rest of the Lily when not in use. Is this how others work or is there a way to keep it from doing that.

Damn that's gorgeous, didn't know half and half could be done, totally would've inquired about doing half walnut half cherry... Oh well not a big deal in the slightest. Enjoy!
