It's all good, man! Know it can be tough, but you may want to wait until you get your nano before deciding on a bubbler. One of the best things about the nano is the incredible flavor. Don't know that all agree, but IMO more diffusion leads to less flavor. Think you'll be pretty impressed with it coming from the EQ - even more so the solo. nano dry really isn't that bad, just make sure you have a glass of water nearby because longer sessions do tend to dry you out a bit. Actually, waiting a bit may work in your favor in another way. There are many cheap Chinese pieces that pair well with the nano, but they are on holiday over there right now. So, probably not much leaving the country for a week or two. If you go that route, my personal suggestions would be either the D-020D or GB-187 as a decent starter piece. Many posts about each over in the Cheap, high-quality bubbler?? thread. They take a little while to get to you, but either of those is less than $50 shipped.

Then again, seems many can't resist all the pretty percs and bubbles in higher diffusion pieces. Plenty of those cheap from China, too. If the flavor aspect isn't important to you, I think the nano should cloud up anything short of a 4 foot tube. Just keep in mind, more bubbles and stacking is probably going to take away flavor.

Well the thing is I broke my regular bong so I was in the market for a bong that I could smoke out of with friends from time to time & also use with the nano. I'm really into ice vaping for more ice cool vapes that's why I was looking for a piece where I could fit ice cubes into. Those ones that you mentioned I had those in mind already but those have no ice option that put me off. Are you talking about dhgate.com? I think the Chinese new years is over now & they have been up & working since the 22nd, at least that's what it said on their web site. Flavor is important to me but not as important as getting high on ice cold vapors that's my thing lol . I have the infamous $40 bubbler from pipesdaddy do you think that would mate well with nano & give flavor? I think I might just use the infamous bubbler for flavor & get a bigger piece with percs that serves multiple purposes.

Careful to not use too much ice! Cold water/glass/ice will condense your vapor before it hits your lips. Using the same size load, you will get more medicated with everything at room-temperature, than a waterpipe full of ice.

Ice is great for combustion (my friend loves the ice picks on his YQ-42), but it's unnecessary for a vaporizer

The new GonG is just right able. :) It is slightly taller, like 2mm, but the difference is more on the inside.
I can place the basket con vex,, and still have 5mm adjustment .
I think old and new they look the same, but the inside is off on the shorties, making it tougher.

Speaking of GonG's, I am a convert to the carbed concept for the following:

It is easier to operate, especially when beer is involved. With the regular GonG's, I've been know to "tip" the enano when pulling the GonG and enano at the same time.

It's easier for friends that are n00bs to vaporizers to understand. Same concept as a carbed combustion piece.

It's lazy. I can heat soak the enano for as long as I want, casually take a hit, and not have to fiddle with anything.

The only drawback I've run across is slightly less airflow when clearing. But again, this is a very slight difference, so not an issue 99% of the time.

I posted this picture of my setup a few weeks back in the JoDa thread, but for anyone that may have missed it:

Nice setup. For the decreased draw on clearing, I wonder if a second tube directly opposite the one on front would be a solution? You could plug it with your thumb, Sort of like a pinching action with your thumb and forefinger. Would give twice the airflow.

Not sure that I follow you. Do you mean another glass tube off of the GonG itself? Then cover both with my thumb and forefinger? If so, that's not a bad idea.

Or maybe next time I'll have JoDa make a larger carb. But again, the restriction is pretty minor.

Yes, I mean exactly that. Two tubes, one plugged with forefinger one with thumb. The one complaint I've heard about carbed GonGs is always the airflow for clearing. Why not add another carb?

Really? This is very interesting, I have never heard this before. Can you tell me more about it please? What's the science behind it? So if room temperature water gets me more medicated, what will happen if i used hot water? What effect will that have?

What happens to a glass of ice cold water on a hot day? Condensation. The same principals apply to a vaporizer. Warm hot vapor will come into contact with cold glass. It will condense and stick to the glass/water/ice.

Hot water also works, though it's a pain to always add hot water, so room temperature is sufficient - I don't think it will have any noticeable difference between the two temps. But there is certainly a difference when you start adding ice to the vapor path.

Very interesting....I learned something new today, thanks bro! So let me ask you what does the water filtration do to the vapor? Is it more potent taking direct hits?

At what temperature does the vapor condense? I've wondered why we still breath out vapor, why hasn't it condensed in my lungs? Am I only absorbing what does condense in my lungs? Would'nt that mean bigger clouds are not better? I'm curious.

I'm thinking at the speed of e-nano!

Really don't know. There are a few discussions about how much vapor the lungs can process in a given hit, but I'm not an expert in this subject, maybe somebody else can comment

------------------------------

On another note. I'm thinking about a Metal 3D printed stir-stick/grinder of sorts for the Nano. But I have a decision to make. Should I make it a 1-piece (like a grain mill wheel) , or 2-piece - as in the inner section would spin freely from the outer section.

1 Piece would be much easier and cheaper to 3D print, a 2 piece part would require the customer to order 2 parts separately and assemble as needed.

I'm thinking that seeing a huge cloud upon exhale is wasteful. If you exhale it, it can't get you high.

All you will get is anecdotal answers, as there are no scientific findings that I've ever seen.

From my experience (ironic I know), bigger clouds means a faster rush to get medicated, so it's easier for me to tell I'm high quicker. Smaller hits are a more gradual build up. As @max once stated, it's like the difference between drinking liquor or beer.

Make mine a double. :D My Claisen came in and it is too small to fit both nano's on the 90 degree perch, but it works with one on the 45 degree degree side joint and a stopper in either 90 degree joints, and nano in the other! It's like a guitar and has to be tuned up but I've got her dialed in now and she is making music! :science:

Im pretty sure they sent me the wrong size gong,if it didnt have the silicone it would fall through the joint on my fc187.....but i figure screw it,i need to get an adjust a gong anyways and just gives me a reason to cure a little GAS

PM or send an email to nadia@epicvape.com for RMA instructions. Lets get you setup with the right size gong!

This is pretty common. It is USPS that doesn't track. You might see it update about an hour after your postal carrier puts it in your hand....
