Sorry we don't usually work on the weekends and I was in a car accident Thursday so my week was cut short. Needless to say I am a bit behind. Not to worry your email is on my list to get to asap!

Yes after something like 3 months I FINALLY got a response about my GonG issue. Turns out noone at epicvape has a clue that they sent out the wrong gongs. They will not be replacing anything for me. I have to prove something is defective and send them a photo.

First post from December. Emails sent along the way. Others get responses and replacements. I get too bad.

Anyone else think the gongs got a lot shorter recently?

So I've tried to make sure its not just me, and I still cant find a way to use the new GonG I got without burning myself. I sent epicvape an email through the website but no response, so here goes.

For the black friday deal I got a new 18mm gong and a bag of screens. The gong is MUCH shorter than the original one I bought with my nano. To make things worse my nano is sticking in the gong no matter what I do. Ive cleaned it and tried hot and cold, still sticks. Since the gong is so much shorter in overall length now, the entire thing gets way hotter than my original. I have to grab it to actually get the nano out since it takes force, and I am burning myself every time. I have to now figure a way to remove the gong from my piece while its stuck to the nano, then grab the gong and work it off. Thats the only way not to burn myself, but I dont see how this is ok.

The gong needs to be at least a half-inch or more in length, and of course the nano should not have any issues with fit.

I dont get a lot of responses from others on here, so Im not expecting anything but maybe for andy to say hey sorry bout that. It would also be nice to get what I thought I was paying for but that is the least expected of all. I cant imagine how we got to the point where the gong I was sent was considered acceptable in the first place.

Lengths are close og is 62mm and new is 59mm. But the length in between seems to be a bigger difference in length than overall.

I contacted them a while ago and still havent heard back.

Anyone heard from ace lately? I still havent gotten a response about the subpar gong i got in the black friday sale.

Can anyone explain to me the difference between an E-nano, underdog, and purple days? They all look the same but even I feel that is a gross overstatement. Sorry if this is a silly question lol Ive been eyeing log vapes for awhile and would love to get one, I just don't know where to start.

This comes up quite a bit actually (except the PD part, they've been decommissioned for a couple years now). Check bottom half of page 419 of this thread for a good bit of info. A good place to start, and plenty more around if you need more convincing. :brow:

@ACE OF VAPE - Hope you're OK, Nadia! Hope you're OK too, Ace.

@ctxgooner - Beautiful nano!!! Man, I'm jealous! She is a beauty. What? You didn't believe us about efficiency? :D J/k... Think that is the second thing that surprises most people no matter what they've heard before trying one themselves. Once you get a little practice in you'll be even more surprised how slow your stash goes down.

The first of course is the size. Even with all the pics out here now, seems like most are a little surprised just how small the nano is.

How do you like the flavor compared to a solo (or pretty much anything else)?

@$un - glad to see you'll soon be a nano-er. You're gonna love it - especially compared to the EQ.

@ctxgooner your nano is stunning. Absolutely love the pits in the wood, my Amboyna burl has one or two but not half as nice as those in yours...

It's a beauty for sure

I was wondering if any E-Nano long time users have had any issues with the temp dial? I have been using it to turn on but was wondering if others would leave the temp set and turn it off / on at power point? Thanks

I had an issue with mine a little more than a year in. I think my problem was more due to rough handling. It is a connected cord, and I used to hastily wrap the cord up, throw it in the bag, and then in my coat pocket an average of 3-4 times a month. It was also the original (early V1) cord. Quick and easy warranty service when I had to replace. I now go a little easier on it, pay a bit more attention when packing it up and put it (in bag) in its own bag for travel. I'm a few months short of a year on replacement cord with no issues.

I'd be afraid that the jolts of giving it power while at vaping temp may be as bad, if not worse, for it than just turning it on. But, I'm not sure which actually would put more strain on it. I know others who got theirs around the time I did have never had any problems with it, but not sure how many of them turn it off much.

I leave my dial at 6.5 (or close enough) pretty much all the time and just turn it on at the wall. It sometimes goes to 10 for a 5 min pre-heat, but never to 0.

Had mine for 6-7 months now doing this... Hadn't really thought that it might be bad practice :hmm:
