Going on 2 years now with my Solo, and it's still my #1 go to vape for the most reliable, enjoyable, hassle-free experience of them all! Love the form factor! Still years ahead of its time! #1 !!!!

I get used to using my desktops at home (EQ and UD) and i gave up vaping before/duringwork so my Solos have been neglected.

But damn everytime i go solo im reminded how awesome it is...the clouds dont fade as fast as my others...and a session is more consistent and flavorful.

Vapolution on the way heard the taste is even better and the solo is delicious!

The Solo and pain: One year ago found me with the use of only my left arm, in substantial pain, and having a nasty time trying to open my NO2s, one of which has a tight cap. I never noticed the NO2 affecting my pain, although it went very nice with the oxycodone the er gave me. I really hate having any opiates in my system. I was walking back up from watching the lake freeze, stopped in at the LHS, the guy said some key words (ahem, glass), and I walked out with my first solo. Because of the pain, I was really aggressive trying to extract as much from the flower as I could. The Solo stepped right up, and I started noticing times I had pain, but wasnt taking my pills. It didnt shrink the pain like opiates, it kindof put me next door to the pain. Whatever, I cut way back on the pills, was able to use 1/4 pill, then just stopped them. I found that I feel my best with 0% opiates in my system, so the Solo being able to address my pain at that time is one of its most important aspects to me. I had read about people using herb for pain, I did not understand at the time. I use flower only, and with an aggressive extraction attitude, Solo took the place, for me, of the pain meds. Very positive. I also believe the Solo could be used to keep pain med use to a minimum, I am sure many others have figured it out already. It is just one of the many wonders of the Solo. Now I am enjoying getting the most effect from the slo cook coconut ABV recipe found on this site, so just set the Solo at 4, and extract what may. The Solo prepares my ABV just how I like it to turn it into devastating edibles. GSC edible is deva stating. So versatile, SOLO=Enjoy Nature with your Solo!
I know this isnt news, but maybe still useful to share.

@CarolKing, exactly :)

Haven't tried it, thanks for that though, I might give it a go! Haha.

And yeah it's a fair bit. I vaporbong often too now so every day it's soak and clean water tool, the pvhegong, stem, and soon the claisen when it gets here..

I know ISO is commonly used but its ridiculous how hard it is to come across that in Australia. So for me it's a lot of hot water, soaking, methylated spirits + rice, brush, skewers and cloths.. recently added some Simple Green to the mix, still pricey here but nowhere near what I'd have to pay for a tiny (spray!) bottle of ISO. Hot water and Simple Green soaking in the water tool daily seems to keep it nice and clean, and I now reserve the stronger methylated spirits for the bits that get resinous easily--stem, gong, claisen etc. Soaked and/or shaken with rice.

Drying up takes no time-- I thoroughly rinse it all with hot water, shake em off, sit em in the sun

The time certainly adds up, but in my eyes it's worth it. I get to enjoy vaping through crystal clear glass everyday. :D

Try some of the OXI clothes detergent, works well in hot water.

That is what I find as well. Most of my pain is in my hips, legs and feet. I find it is much easier to "ignore" the pain and go about my life if I have good herb to vaporize. Without vaporized cannabis I sometimes revert to a puddle of pain and self pitty. The Solo delivers the goods in a most effcient manner and keeps me in a positive frame of mind!!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to join the forum. I have had my Arizer Solo about 8 months now, still going strong! LOVE it so much, I also have an Extreme but prefer the Solo! Considering buying a backup because it's my method of choice.

Thank you to all of you for your tips and tricks regarding the Solo. I have learned so much by reading on here. Bought it from Randy at PIU and he has been great! Hope I can help out with advice from time to time.

With the Solo you can vape the higher temperatures for the pain and you still get flavor. Using water vaping helps me for late at night. My pain is in my hands, feet and low back. The pain doesn't go away, it is lessened and more tolerable.

I also use ABV for edibles. I only run my herb through a 10 min session one time. If I'm not saving my ABV I can get 2 - 10 min sessions. I have a lot of ABV saved up. I'm using the Mota Maker now to extract.

This unit really saves on product. Eventually you will make your money back in just savings alone. So you are getting the unit for free.

Hey I haven't been here for a while because I was at Mardi Gras. It was fun but a little to cold.

I brought the solo down and had a bubbler down there which I have attached to before but it wasn't as good as just the stems with no water filtration. I broke my PV adapter but still had my EdWood and new one from JoDa but both had problems getting it to start. this is the first time I have had this issue. Has anyone else?

My Evo never fails me. But my solo is awesome and I want it to work again. I think I should break down and order anothe PV adapter.

One good thing - I discovered while away that my littler pulsar pen is much better than my pax which is of course triple the price. I took that pen everywhere

And yes Randy from PUI is the best!!

With the Solo I like to have some play in the stem. I want to be able to move it around. The vapor quality is better IMO.

We each have our way we like to use the Solo. Whatever way works for you. Sometimes it's fun to switch things around.

Every time I disassemble my stem configuration for cleaning I seem to change the way I use my Solo. I've done: no screen at all, concave screen with no spacer, homemade convex "dome" screen, concave screen with a glass flower screen acting as a spacer, with and without "jerry-rigged" water tool. I've never used the O-rings because I figured out early on that for me wiggling or rotating the stem gave me great performance. I also almost exclusively use the Solo in the upside down position

Lately I've been starting at level 3 then towards the end of the cycle bumping it up to 5, with a possible rump second cycle to finish the stem. But I have also gone with level 4 all the way, a progression of 2-4-6, and a progression of 4-6. One of the reasons that I've been using spacer type things is that without them it takes me more than 2 full cycles to vape a whole stem. I am groping towards a solution that would let me completely vape a stem in one session. It will take a lot of work and it is a dirty job, but I am up for it.

There is only one thing I have not been able to accomplish. I just cannot get this thing to do a bad job in any of these configurations. But with all the different ways I can use this thing I do not think I will ever get stuck in a rut.

mod note: To avoid thread derail, the question about a new strain was split off to create Ask FC thread Has anyone tried the strain "Juanita La Lagrimosa"?

Same with me! I've had my EQ for 5 years, but the Solo works so well I did buy the back up. Now I have both black and silver Solos. Besides being able to keep good charging practices in play, it is so nice to always have a Solo ready to go; as one is charging as the other is being used. And having a back up is peace of mind.

Thank you all for the answers. Much appreciated.
I think for now ill be sticking with my stock stem and my Eds TNT stem. Both do the job quite nicely.

You're welcome.

I'm with ya there, hard to argue with what's working well........

Enjoy your Solo, top choice IMO. No home is complete without one. Ataxian's house needs two, and a LOT of grass.......

No house is complete without the grass. Had pretty good with my Ed adapter but the stems are the best. The real winner is still evo. But it's just not as portable.

I hear ya, that extension cord can be a real hassle. Kinda limits your travels and all? Kind of fun how Solo makes an OK corded vape but the corded vapes can't make it to the front door usually.......

Enjoy the Solo, with the stem of your choice, of course. Nice to have those options, too.

Black stem wouldn't really go with the silver Solo imo.. which is what I have. Might look decent with the black one though.

And still, I like my glass to be clear. Watching vapor form and travel is part of the fun

The black glass straight stem for the solo is being sold here. http://upperlimitsinc.com/shop/solo-arizer-replacement-glass-black-straw/

I've never ordered from them yet. I was just looking around for it.

Nice find .
I also noticed they have the Persei on sale for $ 100 .
I'm pretty sure that's a good price for the Persei ???
I'll post it on the proper thread too ...
http://upperlimitsinc.com/shop/persei-by-delta-9/

I prefer to have my glass stems to be spotless clean for optimum
flavor and taste . So I would need to see the clear glass stems .
But for extra stealth , I can see these being very popular with some users .
