What about the ascent by Da vinci ?

Bought it, loved the taste, fucked combustion after one month. Then it died on me. Had to get it replaced which is still working. It's a nice tasting vape, but it has issues (cool vapor entering the vapor path through the retractable straw). - but that vape is $250 - out of your budget.....

Be careful, there are knockoff firefly vapes on the market, these are dangerous knockoffs and should be avoided! The Firefly vape is a nice convection vape, but the battery will only last for only a short session, be prepared to buy extra batteries.

Go to the portable vaporizer section of this site. Click the word "Replies" to sort by the most number of replies. Look at the vaporizers we talk about the most

Look at how big the Solo thread is - 32,750 replies :o- the largest thread on this website, by almost 5000 replies! There is a reason why we tell newbies to start with the Solo

What about this : http://www.epuffstore.com/vapedynamics-laguna-vaporizer.html

Look at youtube there are many reviews, the clouds are big !!

Sorry, I don't look at youtube reviews personally. Moreover, I can give you huge clouds with concentrates or e-juice in any "vape" - just because you can chase clouds doesn't men shit to me. I care about full, accurate extraction of my herbs (low temp for clear highs, and high temp for sedative effects)

Considering they sell the flowermate under their own brand name "vapedynamics", who the hell knows what that Laguna is, but it's certainly made in China. Not saying being made in china is a bad thing (many reputable brands, including several I own, are built in China), but it's probably a manufacturer who makes the same vape under 50 different brand names. Maybe it's an Atmos Boss?

In either case, a pen vape for flowers is not really a smart decision, ESPECIALLY for a newbie looking for their first vape

Watching clouds in youtube videos might be the single worst way to select a vaporizer

Hey everyone!

We hope all of you are doing well. We've been working hard on the Grasshopper through the holidays and it's looking good. I just wanted to let everyone know that we are implementing a way for confirm your order, update acessories purchases and more. This is taking a little longer than we expected in part because, due to the requests of many of you, we decided to add a lot more functionality. Expect its release by next week. No need to worry we have all your orders safe and sound!

Have a Happy New Year from the Grasshopper team

I know everyone loves the Solo. I do too. But I've heard good things about the Firefly and if you can get that at a good cost go for it. I don't know about the battery but I imagine it would be a problem only if you needed a long session. I had an early Flowermate and didn't like it but there have been many newer versions of it. Mine didn't draw well. If they've fixed that, the Flowermate would be another good purchase. Skip the Imag+. I have it and can't recommend it.
If you don't mind butane, check out the lily thread. It's expensive to ship to Europe but you can get a sense of how much the Lily and overseas shipping is from others who purchased it. It may be within your budget.

If you are a tiny bit carefull, it will last. I always keep it and transport it rolled in a handkerchief, and that I put in the carrying bag of the Air.

Now i'm not the best guy to listen to, I have my Solo for only a month :D accidents still happen..

I bought mine at Vaposhop, good store. Check the discount link in the suppliers thread, saves you almost 20eur. Then you can buy an extra stem ;) + don't forget you get 2 stems with the purchase.

EDIT: if you want a wooden Ed's stem, you might better buy from vaporisateurs.net... Not much europe retailers have Ed's stem. I want one but i'ts to expensive to buy just a stem from there for now... So be smart!...

You can also buy wooden stems from @Ed's TnT if you're prone to breaking glass.

 I'm sure there are other options, but Ed's a great guy and he's got some beautiful options

There are plenty of mods and upgrades you can do to your Solo. Go do some searching in the official Solo thread, you'll find an answer to every question you have about the vape. (I'm sure there's also a "best of" thread to help highlight the useful posts)

I'm stubborn, but there is no pen for vaporize and not burning the dry herbs actually ? Not the pinnacle pro or the V2 pro ?

No, a true pen vaporizer for dry flowers is kinda the holy grail for portable vaporizes. There are cigar size ones that do the job (and some soon to be released like the Grasshopper). But If you need pen-cig style stealth, you NEED to use concentrates.

The Okin Vaporizer could be the first "pen size" vaporizer I personally own. But it's way too steampunk looking to be considered an e-cig style vaporizer (not to mention the fact it uses bamboo charcoal instead of electricity for heat ). It would certainly draw much attention. (And it's still a new unreleased vape, the first 100 are still being produced by hand)

Space is the Place
The Pinnacle pro isn't considered a pen though it's small, it won't burn your herbs it's a true vaporizer. It's had a couple design problems over the last couple years(mostly fixed now i think) but it still has a dedicated following, some people love their PNPs like some love the solo. If you like the form and design It'll serve you well.

If I were you I'd read the last 20-30 pages of the pinnacle pro thread and make up your mind from there. Some people do love their pinnacle pros, I liked my original pinnacle(never tried the pro) until I had battery problems, it was pretty nice while it worked(i bought it used so had no warranty).

In my opinion The Solo is not the 'be-all-end-all' in the world of portable vapes, Kinda bugs me sometimes how these "first Vape" threads always seem to turn into a 'you gotta buy a solo thread', the solo has it's place but surely doesn't serve all needs.

Oh sorry, when i spoke about a pen style vape it's was like the pinnacle pro, like a cigar size yes. So what is the best "cigar sizer" vape for you ?

The V2 Pro does fit this description, actually. It works fairly well with flowers. However, the flower cart is very small. It also has a very low temp range. If you want a stealthy pen vape capable of acting like a personal one-hitter for small amounts, it's perfect. But it's not a great overall portable due to the small chamber and low temp ceiling.
