Yeah on the old imag it's the light at the bottom, went from red to green when charged i think. Dont remember if I charged it for 6 hours back then but I feel like i didn't?

On this one the light just isn't on at all, so no way to know if its charging it not. I figure I'll charge it for a few hours anyway and try it I guess. Also looks like they didn't update the manual at all in mine, says 3 hours, so who knows

EDIT: I got it! It's the USB on the vape, not connecting well. Has to be pushed and angled just so. Light even was green for a second moving around, got it at solid red now though. Not touching it. Well see if it can fully charge even, and how bad it is to try again...

I don't quite understand what you mean, but if unthreading the screen it will fit perfectly into that shallow hole in the black plastic ring on top of the device, surrounding the chamber. No other metal ring I see I could pry, the copper ring is part of the enclosure :S Also leaving that threaded part loosey doesn't mean it will be loose after locking in pos the MP. It is also invisible. I think it is a good solution.

I had the same problem once, and I figured it was the cable, not the port Yeah I got my own fav vape as well, just thought it would upset me to wait for only to learn my device is DOA

The top ring that the mouthpiece sits on. Apparently copper. I know it can be pushed up a tiny bit because when I reassembled my last unit it wasnt pushed all the way in for awhile before I even noticed. Not really visible unless you look very close. Also felt very solid. Ill try on mine and report back, already tore apart and reassembled one so im sure im good now lol.

Mine is already at solid green but since the manual says before using it the first time it says charge for 6 hours straight so it will supposedly extend the life of the battery instead of your battery supposedly going bad on u in one or two months. Idk kinda scared to overcharge it but that's what the manual says so I will follow the directions lol fuck it if it fucks up cause of that 6 hour over charge the manual states then I'll just send it back for a new one. But my shit charged in a matter of one hour Strange. Its is now hour two and it's solid green at the bottom by the usb plug but imma leave it for the next 4 hours damn j truely hope it doesn't fuck up the batter or the imag itself cause charging for 6 hours seems o d

Ok, make a few pics, if you succeed, but I rather stick to my method, in fact I added a silicone ring, and it is tight. Also, if I only imagine, that the black plastic ring stays where it is, but you elevate the copper ring on top, that would increase the distance between the two little clamps/nuts on MP and the "L" shaped grooves where they cling - so it might not work. Fingers crossed!

There are protection circuits built in, you can't overcharge it, though I also can't see the point behind leaving it on after its done green. One rule for Li-ion batteries, to not to wait until depleted, try to keep them cool, and put them back on charge always around half way.

Yeah my Air finally got back to neutral @olivianewtonjohn but I've kind of moved on from using my session vapes alone or very often at all actually lately. The on demand convection is just spoiling me for session conduction, think I may be getting a triihouse next in the near future (plus Zion and dare I say GH)...

But yeah, so hard to get too upset about it considering, and if it were faulty Imag would make up for it. I've waited I dont even know how many months for this so it was never a big deal to me I guess

I just got the ceramic one and it says the first time u open package charge for 6 hours straight so j wanna know do I truely need to do that cause mine fully charged in 1 hour so please lemme know if I actually have to charge for 6 hours

Honestly no idea ultimately, mine came with the old manual, which said 3 hours. It is the new ceramic carbon wharhaveyou as well. It was green well before 3 hours, I took it off after like 2 and a halfish, I guess. Ran some burn offs, still stinky, charging again. Going to sleep

Hi FC, I received my unit 2 days ago and they definitly improved the previous version, the new mp stay in place and the new bowl looks nice.
Did a burn-off but I didn't see any fume, packed it with some nice Cheese skunk, start at green level, decent taste and nice little clouds but after some hits taste deteriorates quickly (not a big deal if you stay on low temp), I only use the blue level to kill the load and still not tested the red except for burn off, but since my abv is already very dark on blue I don't think red level is suited for flowers but you can use it for concentates I think.

Performances are very similar to the previous version (saddly it still not in my hand for a comparative test, I gifted it to a family menber), maybe taste is a bit improved but still harsh.
The design is really in the e-cig style, I think it is a bit slimmer and with its carbon fiber sticker and copper ring it get its place in lady bags, not a sportwear design and not more steampunk...

I think it's still a good vaporizer IF you can get it for less than 100$ and IF you are not a flavor chaser, I think it is designed to impress smokers (combustion) which want to get a "smoking like" experience although vapor snob will not like it.

I think mine will not get a lot of use except when stealth is needed(the e-cig look is perfect for this purpose) but I can tell to a smoker who want to test vaporization this is a better choice than a mflb i.e (I shared my ol'mflb with smokers but they never liked it,me too, although now I could enjoy it)

It'x not the century vaporizer but it's still an honnest item to make the job everywhere!

When u turn on the imag plus do u hear a buzz type sound out of it? I hear a sound out of mine but I'm guessing it's the the coil that warms up. Idk but would like some input to see if you guys hear something to it isn't loud u will have to put the device by your ear while it's on in order to hear it

This is the PWM signal switching the heater on and off several times per second, and it's perfectly normal.

Indiegogo campaign was a scam by wizardpuff to sell an older vape that already came out, acting like they just invented it (abusing crowd funding) for the old original Imag plus with iron oven and no replaceable mouthpiece screens, or locking mouthpiece. Wierd that you dont have the B-G-R though, first I've heard of an old unit not going in that order. Sorry, wizardpuff are kinda borderline evil...

Yes, I posted about this. I thought I was supporting the manufacturer with a new product, pretty sleazy move by wizzardpuff. I contacted the manufacturer and even asked if they would replace my unit or let me get the new one at cost, but no reply.

Here is the reply I got from Ray. I am not saying he is wrong but if I owned a company and was breaking into a market and some sleazy company was giving my product a bad name, I would step up.

Theres a small brown mark on the ceramic near the top of the oven, doesn't come off.... What's that about? Brand new

Also, I think I can see just a hint of the led through the bottom screen of the bowl. Do you others with the new carbon fiber isolated airpath see that?

Is mine not new enough? Shipped in the same batch, but led goes blue green red as always, while others report it switched? So you green blue red carbon fiber guys see the slight peak of the red led in the bottom of your screen like I do?

I read from page 29 to now and there is nothing that clearly details how to take the unti apart. I saw the post about removing the bottom piece to access the usb port (use a pick to pry off the piece). Also saw the post of the guy how had the inner chamber removed. BUT i have not seen the post how to take it apart. So if you could link to that page that details how to take the unit apart I would appreciate it.

sorry i have not been back to update you all. i received my new Carbon Fiber ceramic Imag plus a couple of days ago. i have only used it 3 times but so far i am liking it. i think it is much better that the original that i still have and use. now that i have this one, that ill be a back up. i also received an updated xmax v2. when i get some time to do a full review i will compare the new Imag against the old one and the updated xmax v2. i will post my intial reactions though:

1) love the new twist to lock mouthpiece. hands down the best improvement
2) also love the new screw in screen with the bigger holes (there was no ceramic "screen or piece" in the mouthpiece that some have said they received
3) not sure how i feel about the semi open bottom of the heating chamber and the screen (it has already fallen out and almost threw it away cause i missed it falling out - be careful)
4) lights go green-blue-red. does not matter to me what order they go in
5) heat up time is only slightly faster than the original but only like by 3 to 5 seconds

thats it for now. i need to drive it some more before the full review
