The following methods have worked well for me:
- Cotton
- Stack multiple screens. I use three. Again, if you need more, Google EZ Load Bowls. First pack kief/half-vaped flower/AVB into the elbow screen, at least enough to fully cover the bottom. Take your glass poker tool and use the blunt end to mash it down, compress it a ton. Now place your concentrate on top of that. (This next part I didn't post last time I mentioned this) Now sprinkle a little more kief/half-vaped flower/AVB over the concentrate, just enough to cover it, and mash it down with the glass tool onto the concentrate. Doing it this way will make sure the concentrate sticks to the bed of kief/half-vaped flower/AVB but not to your glass tool. Now vape away.

I believe it's 5/16 inch inner diameter. dip the tip of the tubing in water and it will slide right on any of the glass pieces or WPAs if you use them

I think it might be too narrow. If your current PVC fits, the silicone should fit, too. Your glass elbow will fit in an 18mm.

Tony do a search for Oregon glass blowers , he may even be on the forum someplace. He makes elbows for the Eq that are much thicker. I have had mine two years now no breakage at all and I have dropped it once or twice on to a Woden table.What's everyones favourite alternative to the elbow piece as a whip water adapter? I am looking for something higher performance and more importantly more durable. I have broken 3 elbow pieces now

Three broken EQ elbow pieces? If you also have a Solo one of those parts plus the useless "Aroma Therapy Dish" can be turned into a dandy GonG. I save my broken glass, sometimes "garbage" is a great resource.

Haven't bought the shorter 18mm adaptor yet, so I'll try it with the regular cyclone bowl.

I have also been though a few of the elbows. In fact thats the only piece thats ever broke on me after over a year of daily use.... I take that back, i also broke a few of the stirrer tools before i had the custom skull holder made. but those dont really count LOL

Don't you mean Da Buddha wand? Guess you can get identicals. eBay has a really poor selection of 18 F/F glass last look. Too bad for newbs who need one. Still using the Q, but can't use the damn elbow screen as designed because it sticks in the adapter when the elbow is removed. Had to grind the metal edges down to a thin strip to use the DD adapter. Maybe a DBV wand? Nah. Thinkin' about another elbow set to use with the Cyclone / unmodified elbow screen and a black SSV/DB tube for the DDave style adapter elbow -silicone tubing won't kink and being black won't show the tube discoloration near the 90 degree. Harlequin with a bit of Couch two hours later tonight from the Q so it's time fer bed.

This adapter will work with either the SSV Ground Glass or the DBV wand, eliminating the need for any glass elbows. Use the elbow screen in the SSV wand tip. You can use the SSV/DBV tubing with a whip with a mouthpiece or run it through a bong or bubbler with a WPA or elbow

Greetings, FC! Brand new Arizer EQ owner here, and I am never looking back! I had my unit for about two weeks now, and spent enough time lurking on the thread to make all the significant upgrades on deck.
I did the mod on the stock bowl, and just last night I purchased the DDave Bowl adapter, large screens to fit, The SSV ground glass wand, and I even built a custom "EQ Magnetic Display Block", inspired by DDave's wooden bowl holder. I will post a few pics after I sand and paint the hooker.
2 things I would like to bother the members of this group for if I may:
1: A strange crack has appeared on the ring on top of the outer shell. Its the black ridged ring. Nobody has had access to my EQ and it has not been dropped or mishandled. Could heat could have produced this crack? I contacted Arizer and Amy assures me that this could not happen from heat as the materials have been tested to surpass the heat that the unit produces. Hmmm. Has this happened to any of you guys/gals?
2: I tried to search through the forums to find the right tubing for the SSV wand with no luck. Can the stock Arizer whip be used? What are the dimensions for the SSV wand whip? Links?
And what mouthpiece options are there?
My apologies in advance as I know these questions have had to been asked a gazillion times here.

You needa grab some silicone tubing...maybe soenone can help you out with an wxact size...stock eq whip is stiff and tasted bad IMO
Once you get some sillicone tubing the same size as the stock tubing it will fit over the SSV wand

I've used the stock arizer tubing with the SSV wand. After a year, it loosened up a bit as far as the grip when inserted inside the wand. BigHec: While I've never heard of this, I would imagine that Arizer would sell you the ring if they won't warrant it. Can't imagine that piece of plastic costing much. It's easy-ish to put on (check utoob).

Nope. Its in my man cave, undisturbed. On my desk where it has been since its purchase, so the whole crack thing is a mystery.... My shit is on for most of the day and a lot of the night so if it hasnt completely melted down by now then I am willing to forget it ever happened ONCE I install the new ring! (gulp!)
But anyways, she said I can get a new one for 5 bucks so I am gonna order one today and assemble it whenever it gets here. I am kinda worried about taking my baby apart but YouTube videos shows that I should be able to manage that. In other news, I received my fat bodied F/F adapter, still waiting for the original DDave adapter to get here. I loaded her up and YES! HUGE difference in draw, start up time and vapor quality! Also lower temps. I think I am burning kinda high at 350 but I am still experimenting with temps. What are your guys settings? I cant see how this can get any better by adding the wand, but that should get here any day and I will post feedback for sure. Thanks for the hose feedback, too!
I have decided that silicon tubing is just too expensive, and I prefer to just buy a big ass roll of 5/16 food grade tube for cheap, especially since it fits the SSV wand. I noticed that after cleaning my whip daily with hot water it has become much softer and pliable. I may just boil the crap out of it and cut and toss as required. I HATE the yellowing at the ends!
I have spent quite a bit of money on extra bowls and accessories, but I must share the best $.99 I have spent to date for my EQ! MUCH better than that crap glass poker!!:

I love this thing, and it sticks solid on to the prototype Magnetic EQ Display Block!
Since I made my prototype, I have decided to go ALL IN and have my artist friend paint it with day glow lights and install some small uv lighting somehow to make the whole thing glow!
Stage one:
No, the items are not falling off the display!! Its just showing off some of its magnetism!
This is a shot I took of some models displaying the artists style. Gonna have the whole thing painted just like this!
Also gonna add some small anti slip rubber feet, a hidden draw to stash extra screens and stuff, strong small magnets to the bottom of the EQ and the wood so that you will need some pull to get it off.. Its all a work in progress. Maybe I have to much time on my hands? Anyways, sorry for the long post! To be continued!!
