As the title states, there are just too many variables when it comes to these e-cig style pens. I'm looking for a straight forward suggestion for something that is quality and worth purchasing. I'm looking for something fairly stealthy (could discreetly be used in a public place) that I could load some wax onto and be good for a few hits. Something I wouldnt have to reload each time would be ideal but not required.

I've read about many options and I'm just overwhelmed. The source orb sounds like it performs well but it's not very inconspicuous and not readily available. I'm considering the Omicron but have heard some poor reviews. Please help me get to the bottom of this so I can make an educated purchase that is worth my hard earned cash.

Thanks

Grab any of the pens that @THC SCIENTIFIC creates!
w9tech.com

I recommend the Persei, as it is the flagship...besides the "8" but that is a mech mod...while the Persei is not. If you want to start cheap, grab "The Vaporizer" with the new kiss mini, its awesome...small...hits big...and is super stealthy.

Here's what id get to start out:

Minicron Lite
Kiss Globe
Kiss mini

Now you have a stealthy pen, a glass globe coil, a regular kiss coil for stealth, and a kiss mini for stealth and you can load a little more in it...flavor is awesome

I'm don't necessarily have a problem spending a few bucks if it's a product that is worthwhile and will last. The Persei is a better option than Omicron in your opinion?

If you want stealth, as breathemetal stated, minicron lite or omicron lite (I use this). Both stealthy. Kiss carts 3.7 tigr2 is also discrete. I love the globe but the glass might make it conspicuous.

I'm not really into the idea of the glass globe. Are these minicron/omicron lites better than the omicron itself or just stealthier?

Stealthier and has micro or mini usb for charging, instead of batteries. When I asked g from w9 what I should start off with, he recommended the omicron lite and it is one of my most used pieces because it's so portable. Size of a thick pen.

Obviously this Omicron lite is better than a GPen? Part of the reason I keep coming back to the original Omicron is the essential oil cartridge to have a filled cart pre-loaded.

Comparing a Porsche to a Toyota . I've tried them all.

But the key is the atomizer. Get anything at w9tech that has a picture of dark ceramic and ti grade 2 in the description. It's all about taste

it IS all about taste. Thanks for your help. I may give W9 a call and see what they have to say, but it sounds like the OmicronLite is the way to go.

W9 makes omicron lite, minicron, and all the good stuff. Check out the Persei thread on portable vaporizer forum on FC. Www.w9tech.com. Give them a call and state what you want and they'll lead you to the right place.

I've used several omicron lites and they are great.

the VaporBrother 11 is slightly cheaper and has more air flow...my brother prefers this one to the omicron lite for that reason. But his favorite is the SourceOrb. It is a great value...variable voltage knob and comes with eight carts that are different for different concentrates.

You can't go wrong with any of these three, so just pick one and start enjoying!

I've read a lot of good things about the Source Orb, but I can't look past the design on this one. It's far from stealthy in my opinion. I'm pretty new to vape pens with my only experience being Micro GPen and
an O.Pen from a legal state.

It's taller and different from the others with that bulging cart. If that's how it strikes you then I would get one of the other two.

Hmm, more like a Lexus to a Toyota... same manufacturer, after all.

I have an OPHOS... I love it, but it isn't little. You want max stealth, go with one of the "lite" models.. best part is, the working parts, the atomizer itself, is the same high quality. I go with the Ti gr 2 stuff myself for that.

You really can't go wrong with w9tech.

Actually if your compare battery life and size the minicron lite and the minicron is what you need to compare it with.

since he's into stealth that's probably his best bet. I haven't tried the short ones yet. thanks for clarification on the warranty as well!

I think most of the pens are pretty stealthy overall but I want something that works well and won't need to be replaced in a year.

Minicron Lite is working like a dream for me, especially since I figured out exactly how much shatter to load; basically enough so that you always have some shatter touching the coil but not so much the coil is buried. If I did not have a Persei and Vaporizer to go along with the Minicron Lite then I would get the Minicron with the bigger battery capacity and be fine with just that to start off. Shatter is so strong you only need a few hits so you really don't need as much battery capacity as you did in the old days of weak concentrates. If you like it then someday add a Persei or Omicron which has replaceable batteries but all the Uptech pens work the pretty much the same as far as I have found.

Thanks, that seems to be the tune everyone is singing. Going to look at the smaller W9 products
