Discontinued Haze Dual V3

A big shout-out goes to Amy and Kim A. @haze, for their responding to questions on the weekend, and their prompt shipping of my unit!
I am experiencing a minor challenge with the battery door popping open if I don't ensure that it's 100% closed. The last 1/32" needs to be FULLY seated. If it doesn't get any worse, I'll just deal with it.
Other than that, I wish that the battery life was a bit longer. Maybe in time when funds allow, I'll purchase some longer life batteries.
I'm definitely on a learning curve, but thanks to all of your comments and input, things are progressing fairly well.
I wish that Haze would produce the black silicone tops for the cans in different colors. That would make it much easier to differentiate the cans that had different contents. (As opposed to writing with a marker on the side of the cans.) What's your opinion?

I suggested this a while ago. Jamie acknowledged it as a good idea and would document for the team to discuss. Never heard anything after that so maybe it just doesn't line up cost wise or something. Good thing is @Haze Vaporizers keeps a close eye on this thread so maybe if more folks chime in asking for it, then it might have some influence.

Welcome to the thread and congrats on your purchase. Let us know if we can help!

Hi Guys,

This is my first post here and I just want to say how happy I am to join this community and thankful that so much information is available! It was extremely helpful in my decision to purchase a Haze 2.5 that should be in my hands in a few very long days! Lol. Question for you guys....where can you purchase the all purpose cans here in Canada? (In Toronto) Any options? I really like that I'll be able to fill them up and use them when I need to. It's such a big selling point that I can't wait to put to use.

I also have to say that Haze customer support and Amy specifically has been amazing!

Thanks!

I thought this would be a sure thing for you but they don't have the cans listed?

Maybe call them?

Anyway, welcome and congrats on your purchase!

Hi Scott. Thanks for the welcome! I'm very excited to vape! Fuck combustion! As for the all purpose cans, I'll msg them tomorrow and see. It isn't listed on their website or on any other authorized sellers website in Canada. I can only find the convection/conduction screens!
Cheers

If I recall correctly they are not an authorized Haze seller. I could be wrong. For that reason I wouldn't recommend buying a unit from them but I thought getting some cans would work for you. I'm guessing the cans would be listed if they had them but it's worth a shot to call. I did see a number listed.

Well at least you have two to start out and I hope you find some more. Let us know if you have questions.

They are authorized for sure. Here is a list from haze's site. (if this is haze's site).....

http://www.hazevaporizers.com/authorized

I'm assuming they'll have it. It would be odd not to and from what I've read here it's the way to go! I emailed haze asking where to buy within Canada from an authorized source and soon as I get a response I'll share it with everyone if that's ok.

Welcome to the thread. They just announced VapeWorld as one of the new distributors in Canada and they may carry the accessories as well. If not, you may get it from one of the sellers in U.S. and see if they would give you a good deal with shipping. Usually if you order accessories over a certain amount, some of them do free shipping. I would stock up on cans. They are super practical.

Since you came up with it first, I'll second that!

And thanks for the welcome.

So let's discuss the Haze 18650 batteries. (A forum search provided no results for me.)
I have a voltmeter that will show the 3.7 volt battery's actual voltage. As the voltage reduces with use, at what voltage is it recommended to recharge the battery?
Many of the small "pocket" testers only display "good" or "recharge", and not voltage. Or is there a small tester that you can recommend?
TIA

I have mentioned this before, but the Haze is my first vaporizer. I was just wondering when do I know that I vaped as much as I can?

I asked it earlier and no-one addressed it. I hope I am not redundant. If I am posting in the wrong place, please lead me to it.

Thank you

Like @scottg402 I generally go by taste. However, if I'm starting to run low on flower I will hit it until I get no vapor left.

If I'm real desperate I'll run some lighter ABV in my herbalizer at 445.

Traditionally though I prefer to stop after 410 or 415 so that I have something left in the abv to try and repurpose. Dunno if there is much left to be extracted once it's been at 445 though.

I go by taste. When it's bad, I'm done.

So while ur haze is at high temp, you don't vape till the whole load?

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure mundzz wanted to know when he/she vaped as MUCH as possible out of the material. IMO vaping till there is no more vapor would be the most.

I also am all good with the nasty high temp taste. I toss all my abv it's useless to me. I'd rather not vape at all than vape my abv:puke: lol idc how desperate I am!

I think these are all preference. When I use my herbs, all I do is stir at the end of my session when it starts losing flavor. It gives me extra 4-5 short hits with flavor. When I do shatter/concentrates, i usually use the same bowl for couple sessions. The flavor is always there even if you reheat the content from the previous session. For me, concentrates do not lose their flavor, you just simply get less vapor as you approach to the end. I am still blown away with the capabilities of the Haze when it comes to the concentrates. I used Muad Dib yesterday at my cousin's birthday. He received one as a gift and I had my Haze on me. Everybody agreed that Haze hits way longer and with way more flavor.

This vape has has my attention since the beginning of the year !
Any idea when a new version will be released ?if it's soonish I'll start saving some bread
I asked the same question but no info available yet. I assume that it will be a while.

Edit: Check out their upgrade program though. I got my OG and V2 upgraded to V2.5 and my old ones were donated to the Pay-It-Forward.

I wish more of my vapes would extract as well as the Haze. I also mostly throw out my ABV. Some vapes leave too many goodies tho.

Sorry for muddying the waters. I was writing that post in segments between medicating patients so I think I got a little far off the point.

When I've just acquired MJ (I generally purchase an ounce at a time) I will usually vape my material until the burnt taste starts to persist, and reload with fresh material although I was still getting vapor from the initial load.

However, when I start to reach about 1/2 oz or less I go into famine mode and will vape until I stop producing vapor at the highest temp of whichever vape I am using. My first two vapes were a Davinci Ascent, followed by a Flowermate 5.0...oftentimes after my material stopped producing vapor in the FM I would load the ABV up into my Ascent and then vape at 430 to finish extracting.

Nick, no desire to make oils or anything else with your leftovers?

I make my oils with fresh top shelf nugs. If anything I'd make edibles with the abv but I'm not into edibles.

I'm finally getting my haze 2.5's shortly. I still have yet to experience the wonders of the 2.5.

What?! Man, temp 2 is where its at! I thought I read somewhere you had already received your V2.5?
