I am hoping to hear something from @ACE OF VAPE today about the status of my nano repair. I really miss my nano. It has been gone almost a month now. Feeling very sad today. :(

I tried using a piece of the Volcano oil pad to vape some wax last night. It seemed to melt into the strands, but when I tried to take a draw, the majority of the oil just dripped right through the pad and then stuck on the inside of the GONG. Ended up wasting a good 0.25g of wax without any real vapor.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? Not enough oil pad material? Too hot?

I've got an e-nano on the way. Very excited!

This will hopefully keep me busy while my other daily driver is in service.

...and now I will read this thread from begining to end, have been skimming it a bunch for the past month and it seems like there are lots of happy e-nano owners out there.

I am also sad you have been without your nano for this long as well. Unfortunately the issue is actually with USPS as they show it was delivered on the 12th though it was not delivered. I will give you additional information via PM as I have been. Since we have zero control over the post office we can't help but feel like this isn't the best place to discuss it.

@photobooth Use more pad! I have pad above my glass screen in my gong with two metal screens on that and more pad on the other side of the glass screen. I get minimal leakage.

Apologies fellow nano-ers! Sorry to muck up the thread. As punishment for myself, I'm refraining from my nano for 20 straight hours. 2 more tough hours to go, and on my way out for beer. See what no vaping does to you? :)

Definitely don't want to dissuade anyone from reading the whole thread. There's some good stuff all the way through. But honestly, the best tips and tricks come up from time to time. I think starting 100 pages back or so and trying to keep up with ongoing conversations through them will give you a good bit of information, and probably almost everything you'd find from reading the additional 300. And, don't forget the search function.

Congrats on your purchase!! You'll probabaly love it, too! nano is one special vape.

More pad, yes. Also, start with a couple of hard pulls to heat the substrate (the pad), then you want to have the ENano upright, and draw softer, to not pull the wax all the way through the substrate. Give it a few soft pulls to totally heat soak the SS pad, then you will have a WHOOOOMMPH! of vapor. It can be sneaky.

It can be dangerously fun ;)

I will do a total tutorial vid on concentrates & vapor dabbing with ENano. Just cuz I love it. :)

Weee! off to play!!

Old and In the Way:
The perfect one hitter is the tool that you can consistently load with the maximum amount your lungs can hold without coughing, or releasing the hit involuntarily. This begins a 25 second battle between the vapor trying to expand and exit the lungs, and you trying to stop it. Not about absorption rates, etc., you flat dont exhale until that vapor gives up trying to get out. You make some funny squeaky noises during it, thats how you know. Then you exhale, and repeat.
In the olden days, having the perfect one hitter was the way to conserve, and maximize good taste, as the goal was to finish it in one go. I have not had the perfect one hitter since I stopped combusting ten years ago. The VB was too big, and the NO2 and Solo are like doing bowls.
The Nano has brought the concept of the perfect one hitter back into my life. It allows me to size and position the exact amount to fill my lungs to the point of creating that 25 second battle of expanding vapors and my lung muscles. It is a beautiful thing for a vaporizer to be able to do. Cant wait for the wet testing to begin once a gong is born.

I've been using the cotton from q-tips with my concentrates and getting good results:)
I tried that, but it wasn't for me... I'm not too experienced with oils so that could have been the issue.

One thing I did was put a screen basket-up style with cotton in it below the screen that I put the concentrate in. The concentrate basket I shaped the best I could into a cone.

When the oil got liquidity instead of collecting to the sides of the stem it would drip off the cone tip onto the cotton being held in the second basket.

(The cotton basket was far enough away to not taste it)

I'm guessing my doses are lower than the average user so this method might not work....

I only used this method for one stem cleaning cycle.... Idk maybe it could work for others. My issue was moving around while using the nano so my oil just drippe on the stem and defeated my idea, lol

Hi folks,

I purchased an e-nano a few weeks ago (based on the comments in this forum)and unfortunately after a couple of days the wood split badly. I sent epic an email with pictures and requested an RMA from their web site as requested. It looks like from their site that I will have to pay shipping to get it fixed and it is too late to return it. I have not heard a word or gotten an RMA number. It's been nine days since the last RMA request went in to their web site. I'm bummed, I got some nice looking wood but it was obviously green. It continues to crack and I suspect it will completely split in two.

So I have two choices, try to fix the vape or get rid of it. I may be able to do a charge back on my card and get my money back. I have sent three emails with pictures of the fault and filed for an RMA on their site but no resolution. I was asked again to file for an RMA on their web site which I did but I never received it.

Any opinion on wire wrapping it and epoxy? Anyone remove the wood from theirs? Perhaps I could make a new piece of wood or something creative for it.

Overall I like the vape and the design. My only complaint besides the wood failing is the temperature control. From my perspective setting the dial at the same number does not give the same temperature every time. It makes it hard to get the sweet spot if you have to do change it to a different spot every time.

I would not recommend this product to a friend due to the poor customer service.

Anyway, thanks for listening.

@LyonMan That doesn't sound right. I had to send one of mine in about a month ago and they provided a prepaid shipping label via email. Wood splitting after a few days sounds like a more justifiable RMA than mine (no power to the heater core after 9 months of use). Epicvape paid shipping both ways and gave me a brand new (removable cord vs. fixed) unit.

I'd PM Andy here and see what he says. In my experience, he most definitely stands behind his product.

Sorry to hear about your problem with the Nano. Nadia emailed you on February 9th and has been waiting for you to fill out an RMA form which she has not received yet. In the email she informed you that your Nano is fully covered by warranty and that a shipping call tag would be sent as soon as she received the RMA form from you. She has just sent you another email explaining the process again. if you do not receive this email please PM me directly.
