First off let me just say that the only water connecting pieces I have used for the box is MFs WPA and my own 'custom' glass piece that just so happened to fit the Boxes stem hole perfectly(seriously, i bought a couple made for my DBV and one just fits perfect).

about the WPA, I dont like the seal, and i dont like the way the box sits on it, not sure if I mean the angle or not, but more or less the way box is situated into the adapter.

I am open to ideas, JD! :)

Funny, I rarely use the PA. I keep my MFLB in my pocket and lugging around the PA isn't worth it. My batteries are always charged, so its no biggie for me. However, I do use it some nights when I'm winding down and it does offer an extra amount of control on my rips.

I only see using my PA at home and occasionally in the car. Whenever I leave my house I will have batteries. This thing is awesome sitting beside my desk though. Makes it real easy to sesh.

Buy ONLY Mflb (without the tin?) (merged)

So, during the summer I bought a MFLB and couldn't be happier :). Unfortunately, my parents (who I'm living with atm) don't agree with my use of herb :(. They found my lovely MFLB and took it away. I still have my charger, and want only to buy the actual wooden box off of the internet. I checked blisssville, but alas, you can buy about everything seperately except the actual MFLB itself. I also checked eBay, no hits there either. I am searching, but can anyone answer the question of:
Where can I purchase the box part of the MFLB seperately online?
Thanks

I was going to suggest the same thing. I've done a little online searching and can't find anyone who sells just the box. I think emailing Magic Flight is your best bet. Good luck!

Still not sold on the WPA, either. The PA? AWESOME! A real game changer as many have said here. Don't know how I made do without it, and sorry I waited so long to get one.

For those of you that have one, what's the big advantage to the WPA instead of stem > 6" silicone tube > GonG? Does the WPA make that much difference?

Ive got to be honest, I dont dig the current MF water pipe adapter, i think it needs some major changes

About the WPA.
It is meant to be able to rapidly be used from pocket when traveling, and fit onto anyones bong anyplace.
The MFLB is portable.
Period
Even with the PA... it is a portable vape.
The PA is made to travel fast.. that is why the black velvetine bag!
The WPA is supposed to fit into your box/bag/pocket with the MFLB, and you are on the road.....
No hooking tubes.. no checking seals....
bam sit the box against the seal.... lift it away to shake.. get one more hit... and on the road!
The box is supposed to "kiss" the WPA the same way you do a "native" hit!
I like the WPA! :2c:

Thanks for the comments on the WPA. Still thinking, but still waiting I think.

And JD - many, many thanks for your great videos! Between you and the PA, I've fallen in love with my MFLB all over again! Working on my microhitting to pull milky hits out like you do. After much practice I'm even more amazed and impressed with your technique. Just need more practice I think. Tough work, but I think I can stick it out.

Vitolo. Thanks for the comments and all your great work on here, too. I'm going to plead the 5th myself, but a guy I know picked up the auto adapter too and REALLY enjoys the improved hits on the road. And, let's just say its hard to float & toke without batteries. Portability is still hands down THE best thing about the MFLB IMO. But, no one I know is so ballsy to be hitting glass while driving down the road. Not anymore anyway. 20 years ago? Sure. Younger & dumber and not quite in the War on Drugs battlezone that is still in full swing in most non MMJ states. Out here the glass (or pretty much anything that holds water and possible resin) not only stays at home, if you're smart you put it away so it's not sitting out when your neighbor catches you in the driveway and wants to stop in to chat. But it sure is nice having a discrete wood box sitting on the desk which when facing down never raises suspicion.

I do see your point about portability with the WPA, and it was something I never really thought of. That is pretty cool and just another high mark for Magic Flight. They are the BEST! But honestly also another source of envy for you lucky folks out in Cali. I guess it would be nice to carry along to a friends, tho. Can't believe I never considered that - especially since I'm just packin the gear into my black bag (including a short whip and GonG adapter) to head to a friend's place now.

Doh! Sometimes I wonder how I don't see simple things like that. Doesn't bother me too much. Just load another trench and keep on keepin on. I know that can't be why!

I never suggest anything complicated, just a modified design. i really hate that it cant even be cleaned(the glass part)

For me, the WPA isn't about portability as much as it's about being able to get the most out of my LB. It makes it more versatile. As much as I rely on vaping for medicinal purposes, the "fun" aspect of it is there too. I like being able to use the LB with accessories just as much as I like the portability and stealth aspects of it. It's the same versatility that you get in your choice of battery, PA, or car adapter. I like choices. ;)

edit to add: Why can't it be cleaned? I can understand not soaking it, but certainly a little Q-tip action would work?

I dont feel comfortable, personally, cleaning it with it still being attached to the wood.
I guess i just never 'got it' with the wpa.... But you know what? thats ok because i think i like it native juuuust fine :)

I know just what Deez is saying.
Deez is the Queen of Glassdom, and she immerses, and CLEANS glass.
The wood being attached throws a "ringer" in the "glass game plan"!

So here's another easy way to mix up your trench instead of shaking it up or sucking in quick which would leave weed on the sides of the trench needing to be brushed down.

All you need to do it tilt the front of the box up and down right after you take you hit! It makes it easy to see if your screen has anything stuck to it.

Hope this helps.. :peace:

Bigger, cooler/smoother hits IMO

I second that. As long as you have a decent bong, the WPA is totally worth it. The design of the WPA is not that bad, you just have to find the technique that you are most comfortable with. Your hits will be much cooler and smoother, so you can take bigger rips than if you were just using the PA.

The main reasons I went with the MFLB were 1) lifetime warranty 2) portability 3) stealth 4) reliability (had the best user reviews) 5) affordability

I've had my MFLB over a year now, and it has paid itself off many times over.

I feel like that should say "As long as you have a decent bong, and the Power Adapter, the WPA is totally worth it.

The battery hits just don't compare to what I get with this thing. I'm in between bongs but I didn't really like the WPA with batteries. That is about to change.

Shit, first time i combusted the trench by accident with the mflb. was using the wpa and trying to let the vapor build up and use jdsupremes sipping method to draw at short intervals then the trench turned into a cherry i immediately dumped it out and blew on the screen luckily nothing was damaged but the trench got ruined. it had already been powdered up and was near cashed anyway, PA was set at ~60%. Still have not found the perfect technique to get clouds but trying.

I actually meant to say that, with the PA - overlooked it though, nice catch. And yes PA is way better than batteries.

I have been procrastinating buying both the PA and the WPA for a lil while now. I know they're both awesome and I'll be kicking myself for not picking them up sooner but I currently have a pretty good waterpipe rig setup and I have 2700s along with a desktop vape so I keep finding other goodies that push them further back on my wish list. I was finally going to order them next week but it's looking like a pretty little RockZap will be taking their place for now.
I did recently get a replacement box tho and I absolutely love the mess outta it! My old box I had for a lil over a year and it didn't have the trench ring, the pushback ring or the click-lock lid so this box was an upgrade and a half! These newer boxes do run warmer as a lot of folks have been saying and I didn't care for it before but now I actually prefer it- it definitely gets the job done quicker. And the locking lid is the shit! I had lost about 4 or 5 loads over the year so I was pretty pumped! Yesterday my lock lid failed me tho; it opened to the right just enough for all of the herb to spill out in my pocket :( It opened up again today but luckily I didn't lose the whole trench this time. I dunno if it's worth bugging about the warranty but I'm gonna try and be a little more careful.
Finally, I love seeing everyones vape kits so I figured I'd add mine as well. It just took forever b/c I don't have a computer and I can't upload pics to FC from my iPad

Lucky Brand Watch Box that I gutted. Easily fits in my purse for quick grab and go!

Just about every vape thing I need fits in here!

My baby water pipe! 6 whole inches tall!
It's a cheapie but I love it to death! Broke my nice bong trying to hide it from my sister so I refuse to buy nice glass till I move back out. Perfect size and plays nice with my MyrtleZap too. My grandma asked me what I spent the bday money she gave me on... A water purifier grandma...

The whole shabang! From left to right:
The three former lip gloss tins on the left are for herb (there are 4 now)- 2 for 2 different herbs (each holds an eighth), 1 for stems, and one for ABV. The tube w/ red lid is super fine ground herb for LB, holds exactly 2 trenches. 6" waterpipe. 4 piece grinder. ZapPolish. 2 MZ stems. Tamp tool. Brush. Batteries. Box. My tootie tips and LB stems fit in there as well.

.

With the PA/WPA, I hold the button for about 2 seconds (@ about 60-70%) before drawing, take a few quick pulses until you see the vapor thicken, then turn it into a long slow draw. Hope that helps!
