OK so I have someone (Bodhi Diesel) in the 'Drying Out Your Bud' thread, who's trying telling me that it's bad to extra-dry your weed before you grind it for your MFLB, and that you shouldn't grind to a powder (plus that bone-drying your weed for vapes in general is wrong). They haven't explained why - they just expect me to take their word for it because they grow for a collective. And they're being rather opinionated and obnoxious about it.

They also called the MFLB cheap-ass and said they weren't impressed by it. :brow:

The posts start here and continue on to the next page. Just thought you might like to know. ;)

When vaporizing, the drier the weed the better. Basically, if the bud isn't dried, your getting hits of water vapor (steam) mixed in with other vapor. The reason bud ground to a powder is better (at least with conduction vapes) is surface area, the more the material is touching the surface, the more vapor can be released.

sundaddy,
I emiled gogo again about the bong. I emailed them on Tuesday and never received an answer back. Getting a little ticked

You may want to call gogo. Last I spoke to them (about a month ago), they said their email server was down. Think the right number is 425-778-4400.

IME they have crappy customer service. They do have cheap glass for cheap prices, but I've definitely made my last purchase from them.

YMMV, but IMO not worth the headache or the price for their crappy products, or hoping you get what you ordered instead of what they consider is close enough. Had one order for one item with no problems. Second order was for 3 items - 2 were not what I ordered. After countless emails with no response I called. Frustrating conversation where they couldn't understand what my concerns were and/or couldn't care less.

1 item was a chillum. I ordered a nice green one (says "Chillum pipe has nice color" right on the item page), got one that wasn't quite same shape and looked like glass was colored with baby sh*t! Black/brown/tan twist. Twist wasn't even straight and overlapped itself. Ugliest piece of glass I've ever seen! Their solution was to send back (I pay postage), and once received they would try to find a better match to what I ordered. Never did find out if they actually had what I ordered, or if they ever did. Fortunately, a less discriminating buddy of mine was glad to take it for $10. I happily sold it for that (couple $ less than I paid), instead of more headache with gogo.

Similar discussion for cheap chinese ashcatcher in same order. Both color & number of arms was wrong, but it works and doesn't look like baby sh*t - so no big. Good enough to keep crap out of my smaller glass bubbs, so it serves its purpose.

For those of you looking for a nice cheap piece to vape through, you may want to save up a few more bucks and pick one of these up for $60 +s/h - or spend a little more and grab something else from Soulshine or somewhere else.
http://ssfgglass.com/shop/shop/product/show/cid-179/name-travel-tube/category_pathway-11

There are more than a few small blowers out there who do nice stuff for reasonable prices. Why not throw some business their way instead of buying crappy chinese glass that will break easily with the slightest bump or change of water temp while cleaning? Not to mention the luck factor or headaches dealing with shady characters like gogo. You want a cheap piece to throw in your pocket, a cheap ashcather, or a cheap snap slide for everyday use? Sure. Buy the crap, but consider it disposable. I do! But, IMO not worth it for a tube or bubb you'll be using regularly.

I wouldn't get too worried about it. My package arrived before I even got an email saying it had been shipped!

IMO every MFLB enthusiast should have the power adapter, water adapter, and a solid glass bong dedicated to vaporizing only. It is totally worth the investment and I get way more out of my box than I used to before having any accessories. JDSupreme and Vitolo's videos are really helpful for people like me who need a "visual" rather than text description.

I cough hard every time I use the WPA, even though my hits are not as huge or cloudy like JDsupreme's. Why is this? I thought I would cough less being the water cools down the vapor. Maybe it has something to do with the bud.

Nice case there sundaddy.. The other day I picked up a CaseLogic camera case from WallyWorld.. cost me like $8.. works perfect.. has a carabiner so it snaps on my belt buckle loop and looks like im just carrying a camera...

Has plenty of room in the main compartment to store both batteries.. mflb.. and pill container.. plus has room for another battery or 2... on the side is a zipper where i keep the stem and brush.. sometimes a hitter if im gonna be social and need to smoke others up.. could also fit extra batteries or a bag in there as well..

.
I got the email saying it was shipped on September 30th and it is now October 6th? Priority mail or not it should have been here by now. I just called and it was some arabian guy. He said it was shipped so on his end he doesn't know. I called the USPS and they started an investigation for me because it said the shipping info was received on the 1st and expected delivery was last Monday?

Hi, been using the mflb for about 6 months now. I've got a c9000 charger on the way and I'm wondering what the best thing to do first with my 2700s and stock batteries is. Does it make the most sense to start with a refresh/analyze ?

Thanks.

I wanted to show off the PurpleHeart wooden Stem from BlissSville.
Ed's TNT made these great stems, and I am really digging having them!
DSC00283.jpg

Nice contrast! :brow:

Edit:
A tip for MFLB users: cut a piece of drinking straw, and make a holder for your brush. Just push it down inside to keep bristles from being bent!

Ya do that. Then if they come off under 2400 mAh then run a break in cycle. Most 2700's come off around the 2500 range

Actually yes. The flavor/texture is slightly different with each of the wooden stems.
I notice very, very subtle "essences"
The essences are hard to put to words....
The walnut essence is soft.. the purpleheart is rich and crisp at the same time.
The main noticeable thing is that the stems never get hot to the lips, in fact the vapor itself is a bit cooler when delivered.
The purpleheart stem seems very natural on the lips, and does not "stick" as do some dry woods, as the grain... although deep is not as porous as some other woods.

I have a few glass pieces that have a 90 degree joint and Id like to use them with my mflb. I thought a 90 degree adapter wouldve been available by now, any idea if or when it's coming out?

Just picked up this Luke Wilson 10-Arm Bubbler for use with my MFLB. 150 flat shipped. I was so bummed when my 6-Arm B. Wilson that is almost identical to this broke so needless to say I am pretty excited to be getting this!

Didn't think after breaking my 6-arm that I would be getting an UPGRADE...and for cheaper!!

Beautiful piece Bdub!! You're givin me glass envy. Especially at that price!

Vitolo - That stem is beautiful! Have been debating on whether to get a wooden one, and I think that beautiful pic made up my mind. And, thanks for the tip about the straw on the brush. Just made one up this morning.

Hopefully that's why it's in beta. I'm curious because I still want one of these, what don't you like about it?

nr-cole,
Well my bong is lost in USPS hell. I swear the only thing I was waiting for. The other stuff I ordered I could have waited for but the bong I really really wanted to try out.

Edit: WOW! Just got my Power Adapter in the mail....holy cow! This thing is amazing.

I have headphones in USPS hell right now, and I hate it...35$ but it doesn't look like I will be getting them or the money any time soon.

My Power Adapter and Bong are in route via USPS too. Lets just hope all goes well with them!!

Here is another shot of the bong, looks to be in perfect condition:

Still not sold on the WPA, either. The PA? AWESOME! A real game changer as many have said here. Don't know how I made do without it, and sorry I waited so long to get one.

For those of you that have one, what's the big advantage to the WPA instead of stem > 6" silicone tube > GonG? Does the WPA make that much difference?

Bigger, cooler/smoother hits IMO
