Volute of Vapor
Honnestly it looks like an high end vape and I'll keep an eye on this thread, especially cause the concentrates ability!

I love the magnetic bowl too!

WOW, they have a $25 blunt wrap for sale! That's crazy, says "art you can smoke". Sorry so off topic, just thought it was hilarious.

surprisingly, I've recieved a dark knight brave today. didn't know they've send me one, already!
Haven't had time to check it out in detail yet, but it's looks very good so far. Maybe a little bigger than expected.

Can anyone find a video for it? I watched the 2 videos for the stashtray, but none for the myster shotgun. I like it's high temp function for dabbing.

That thing looks cool. Will be curious to know more re: air path and materials as people start getting them and taking them apart.

vapor production looks crap..... and the sticker on the side really looks like it was made and designed in china.

Well, it's a little hard to follow the airpath to be honest. Starting from the oven the airpath splits in two thinner airpaths and end in the flat mouthpiece. There must be an angle in the airpath too, which will make it even more complicated to clean, I believe. However, I think the airpath is sealed from the electronics and I can't feel air escaping somewhere else than at the bottom of the bowl.

the high temperature is great indeed, however the unit gets quite hot at 580°F and there is no glass bullet included! I believe the one from the Dark Knight Honour should fit in and do the job (maybe the ones from the Davinci classic too). I would avoid using the Brave with wax or oil, without a bullet, since you might ruin the whole unit.

the temperautre seems to fluctuate a lot and often gets (up to) 10°F hotter than what you have set, without taking a puff. So I simply set it 10°F lower than what I'm used to.

size and weight wise you can compare it best with the davinci ascent, I think.

sooo these are my first impressions, will let you know more once I've tested it with herbs

no, actually it's quite good. Has much better airflow than the pax, indica, herbstick deluxe... due to the two airpaths. The clouds it produces are absolutely fine.

it was made and designed in china, so I don't see a problem with the sticker ;)
bauway and jomo tech are currently my favorite chinese manufactures

His video using concentrate
That is really impressive. This is what my naive self was thinking when buying the ascent (I love my ascent for flowers, not concentrates). That is a lot of vapor. Next question is taste. The final being smoothness. I find the w9 products to excel in taste and smoothness. But I really like the clean look if the glass vials. The clouds shocked me, especially for a portable. Can we call this the ascent 2?

Only you can prevent ganja fires.
So @mrweed do you think this unit is worth $99? It seems like it to me and I'm interested in having an electric portable that is simple to share with buds. How long is the battery life?

Also, how does it compare to the Xmax V2? I noticed that one as well.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it's definitely worth 100Dollars! Only cleaning seems to be a little bit complicated. In this price range there is only the herbstick deluxe despite from the brave, i would recommend, if you're looking for a vaporizer with temp control.

Battery life is amazing! One of the best, i know.
The xmax v2 is fine too, i guess, but battery life sucks

No problem!

I'm probably going to buy this over the Herbstick just because of the ability to use oils and waxes. Thanks for the response!

If I end up buying it soon I'll post a review.

I was searching for a way to clean the Dark Knight Brave and came upon this forum. I purchased mine back in June and have found that, after daily use, the air paths must be nearly clogged with resin. For about the first two months it worked beautifully. I cleaned the chamber, filters, and rubber gasket about once a week with alcohol, but as others have indicated you can't clean out the air paths. Now, it is difficult now to get a good inhale. This was my first vaporizer purchase and I definitely prefer this method over burning in a bowl or bubbler, but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed that after less than three months it's already pretty useless. I have resorted to inhaling directly from the chamber itself (hoping that it isn't defeating the purpose of vaping) until I find another vape to purchase. Just my $0.02 :)
