My bigger complain with the Kiss cart is the threaded cap...if some oil comes on the thread it becomes very difficult to put and remove.

Did the new kiss cart generation (mini and alpha) will fix this issue?

I would like to only pop out to load or scrap back on the coil and pop before to take a hit (it could be magnetic for a tighter fitting....I hope this improvement is in your plans.

Try the Kiss mini. The mouthpiece fits snug without screwing down due to use of an oring. Basically the same concept as the two part mouth piece on the Kiss globe if you have that.

I put my persei and omicron on the shelf a year or so ago I'm waiting for them to make something that just works simple as that no 50 pieces that barely work "until you wait next week for the newest best version" which happens every week lol so far only the 30.00 vaporizer looks like the best product kiss carts breaking after one hit and clamping coils that slide around rods is not convenient the herc was supposed to do everything we wanted..

Sounds like your luck is bad mate. I have multiple w9 products and they all work flawlessly

So I work at a 502 recreational store in WA state. Was using my Okeanos on the 8 before work. We just got in some undiluted co2 oil prefill carts, 510 threaded of course. So, I swapped caps on my 8 and was rockin' and rolling in about five seconds. Okay maybe seven seconds.

As far as I am concerned, the Herc has delivered on that promise. Sorry to hear about your struggles with it.

There is a learning curve, as you are aware, but it just requires a little time and patience to master. I would implore you to bring it back out, start using it again and lean heavily on this forum for help/advice. There is a wealth of knowledge here that people are willing to share almost on demand.

Both the Kiss Mini and Kiss Globe are pretty much fool proof. I haven't broken one of those yet. Give them a try if you want a dead simple cart.

For the Herc there is definitely a fairly steep learning curve. Is proper rod placement what you are struggling with the most?

I have had a really really shitty last two weeks, and i need a new nibbler TOMORROW. Ups makes it in a day, and i have no probs paying the extra for it, but can it get out the door today??? Rapid response required!

I've been reading the thread since universe and 1701 carts and half size eo carts were talked about, I wish g would realize hell make more money and sell more vapes putting out a few that work as opposed to 148,845,545 upgrades and parts that most likely only fc members are buying

I have to disagree.

Half size EO carts never worked out because some how we could not fix the issues that it caused when shortening the length of the tubes.

Now putting out a few that work? We have been for a long long time now. We also have been fixing issues when they come up. Unfortunately there are even bigger companies that have issues with their vaporizers, i have yet to see a company that does not.

Now our vaporizers are not for everyone, we cant win them all, but the popularity and the fact that we are still in business says a lot about our way of doing business.

Murphy's Law prevails no matter what we do.

one more thing i want to say is this, sure we can rebrand things and just sell it to you. Sure we can steal other peoples designs and call it our own. Sure we can do that, but i rather sleep at night knowing people know me for my work not my xerox abilities.

I like a company that puts its customers ahead of profits. G could easily have taken a safer route and probably would have made more money with less headaches, but he works hard to make the best products he can and spends an inordinate amount of time dealing with customers both on here and on the phone. That means a lot to me, and I will continue to do business with W9 as long as he continues to innovate. IMO nobody is making better concentrate vaporizers than they are.

I will be way more than happy to buy a new cartridge when one comes out I love my omicron v2.5 and persei it sucks that I don't enjoy them I might actually buy a mini vaporizer kit, I need a oil vape for quick bathroom hits and car rides and I can't be missing with a herc in the car and the kiss carts don't hold enough for my needs.. I should grab some old school eo carts actually bring the omicron out lol

My advice?
Bring that Omicron out :) but look @ the Vaporizer or the Minicron Lite. Both super small, and work great. I dont own a mini kiss cart yet but i have tried it, and i do enjoy it...i actually like it a little better than the regular kiss carts. Dont give up on the higher end products like the Persei and the Herc...they are awesome! Especially the Persei...best oil device there is imo.

Based on what you describe I would try a Kiss Mini cart running on either your existing Omicron or Persei. I wouldn't buy anything else until you've tried that and seen if it meets your needs.

So, I have serviced my hercules recently. 1st, thanks to @Vape Dr. , or the person saying you can unscrew the bottom screw on the teflon adaptor to make a connection with my persei top. I would get a read on the ohm meter, but not the top. Knowing this made the difference between feeling helpless and being on top of things. I prefer the later :)

2nd, I came up with a simple idea to reclaim the coils. Ethanol in a shot glass, put the coil in. Let it sit x amount of time, remove the coil and put cotton or hemp fibers, let it evaporate. Voila, you have some medecine for your favorite way of vaping with cotton!

I have been using my solo stem extension with success for the past week as well. I like having the option of mouth pumping hard and keeping my bottom chamber almost empty. My stem if full of reclaim, but I can reclaim this vs recycling what got in my mouth :ko:

Side note on the Universe with Ophos testing.

It works but the dang time out is pissing me off, not as thick as the vapor using a 18650 on a PERSEI touch button top with hammer mode on, but it does get the job done, you would need a few extra pulls and a longer heat up time.


I would say the Universe is better with the Persei touch button top as you can keep it on without pressing it or even none hammer mode. As you only would need to just hold it in a certain way.


Is it a session vape? Yes. Is it pocket friendly when going out? Maybe a back pack or two pockets needed, but as the video shows last two hits. It does produce thick vapor with proper technique and being patient.


We will be working on the air path and making sure it's clean, but for now we need to test more.

Is there a time limit for the v4 top in hammer mode ? Just curious I had mine shut off without me touching it but it's only happened a few times it still works like a champ I'm very pleased with the Persei and sr 74 it's the best set up for oil

Hmm supporting both threads is cool but I really don't have much 510 stuff. I guess I could probably run my Aspire Atlantis on it which would save me having to carry around my CF Mod. The 8 just looks so damn good too! I want a brushed alum one.

Hate pre-fill carts by the way. It just feels so wasteful. Also hate rec store prices. In Seattle some places are trying to charge 70$/.5g. No thanks. Love that professional grape ape graphic though haha! :)

There is a time limit on the Touch button top. Not sure what it was gotta check my notes either was 1 min or 2. I don't rememebr what we selected.
