FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

I was wondering if anyone has managed to take just the glass part off for cleaning without breaking it? Mine is starting to get a thick layer of resin on it that I`d like to clean off at some point...

Mine got covered with resin as well, but for fear of separating the glass stem from the base and never having it fit tightly again, I've avoided pulling them apart. What I do is first soak the whole stem in ISO (jiggling occasionally), then taking a pipe cleaner soaked in more ISO to get the resin off the inside of the glass. Works pretty well (not perfect, but IMHO good enough).

Regarding the naming inconsistencies, just for the record, the box mine came in was labeled V5.0s, and is the 3 temp model with glass tip.

Lastly:
Hello, my first post here. Just would like to know if this is usable with FM (single temp model). Or is there some similar option of such easy connection to USB charger. thanks!

The Flowermate charges at 9 volts, which is much higher than USB (which is 5 volts +/- 0.25 volts), so -- no, I don't believe the device you show would work for this.

Ok, thanks anyway... somehow thought there will be problem with 5 not being 9 :-)

Drop me a PM and I'll send you directions to buy the right powerbank. But no, this simple cable wouldn't work.

Damn I had previously PM'd you asking the same question, but you never replied, but you now just answered my question lol.

No no no it requires 9V not 5V! There are two cells that charge up to 4.2V per cell so you need at least 8.4V and the closest available is 9V. AFAIK there is no step-up in the FM5 charging IC. I might be wrong but this shouldn't work and worse you could damage your batteries.

@danthepan124 : I thought I answered you, my bad if I forgot.

It is quite alright! is there a cheaper method to your way though?

Re: Outdoors in inclement weather.

I am happy to hear that I am to keep it in an inside cozy pocket when not in use and semi shelter it in my hands while using. Following those rules I am to look forward to not fumbling around for a lighter, dealing with wind blowing half my stuff to ashes, random raindrops spitting onto my papers, or even burning my fingers yellow anymore on the trails.

What's not to like about this? Now only if Honkong post will get it to me before springtime :)

Question 2: Roaches.

After burn in, would my Flowermate be forever ruined by training it through a pile of roaches when I first get it? Would a good swabbing down bring it back to new? Or is roach burning is not recommended with my new coming FM or vapes in general.

Well, if it were me (being of frugal nature), I might try unwrapping a roach or 2 and trying it. Maybe put on top of a thin layer of fresh herb just to protect the bottom screen from getting clogged (depending on what the roaches look like, of course).

No don't put roaches in it!!! After vaping for a while the smell of roaches will nauseate you.

Man just toss those roaches out...vaping will change your mind on that nasty shit and I can`t think of a better way to ruin a new vaporizer than to start putting roaches in it!

Absolutely disgusting. :puke::puke::puke: I understand being frugal, but that's not even an option!!!! At least unwrap all the roaches and roll a "2nd gen" j with the stuffings? But still!!:puke:

Lol. I feel bad for anyone who has to go through this whole thread to get info.
Uh-oh... Where should I go? It's only 75 pages, I've read threads more than 10 times as long here.... I need to know lol

LMAO, so roaches are a thing of the past i guess. Who'da thunk, in my search for something to make my roach collection a little less harsh on my throat I have found something that makes roaches obsolete. I guess papers will not be as necessary either.

What a drastic change in concept. What will i do with all my lighters???

FC you've created a monster. I promise to keep roaches out of my FM. :)

Papers, cigs, lighters... three things I'm glad I don't have to worry about anymore. Nowadays my only concern is: will I have enough juice in my batteries before I can get close to a power outlet to recharge. And if I'm gone for a longer while, I take my powerbank with me.

Not sure if this is resolved, but we sell the V5.0S and it has a removable glass mouthpiece and three temp settings. Plus the battery life is outstanding. It's an excellent vaporizer for the price. To the question about the charger above, the unit comes with a wall plug, not a usb. The rating O/P for NA is 9V 1A. Regards.
