Hi,

I decided to count the draws between the volcano and the plenty to be sure about the feeling that the volcano is delivring more clouds and my conclusion is not really..

With 0.3g i obtain 18 for plenty and 19 for volcano ( 2 ballons ). Some will say you can do a third ballon but the third one is never good concerning the flavor so i stoped at the second.

Finaly it was more an optic effect to believe than the volcano is delivering more draws..

Maybe more clouds because of the air in the ballon but at the end it's the same.. Good news .. I love the plenty more and more.. :science:

I hope one day i ll have unlimited material to use the plenty at 100% of its potential. Put in it 0.3g it's like being in a porsche and drive at 60 km/h.. Even if you get at destination at this speed drive at 200KM/H sometimes will be a pleasure.

I am begining to beleive that the plenty is really more efficient that the volcano if we do the real calculation..

The cons for the plenty its clearly to have to past by 5 and then 6 and 7 levels. Really annoying to have to change temperature.. Except that its excellent

And more i use the plenty and more i understand the crafty and why they added the vibration, the auto-temperature regulation and the led color, it really helps you to vap and to know when you have to vap.
I am sure there ll be a new plenty model soon with the evolutions of the crafty / mighty.. So logic.. With the crafty you just have to double clic on a button to change temp not like on plenty its more "dificult".. And the led color on crafty its really more showy than the orange one on the plenty which on day light we cant see it almost.. If you are listining music you could forget about that your plenty is heating up, this is solved by the vibration on the crafty..
And the crafty maintains the temperature during one minute before self shut down while the plenty shut down just after reaching the temperature, its clearly the two options needed on the same vap for each model of vap regarding the person.. :hmm:
And a visual temperature just under your eyes to not make you move your arm to see it.. like on the mighty :brow:
I am sure the next S&B model will be a plenty-crafty-mighty... As they did with the volcano, first the classic and then the digit.. A plenty more technology has to born one day soon..
It's an excellent product, i really love it but its already old because of the crafty / mighty options.. Temperature auto-regulation maintained during one minute, electronic temperature control and more visible, vibration, led color, two saved temp options at one clic..App.
I ll use it until the next S&B.. I wanted the same high as the volcano with silence, i found it with the plenty and more because the taste is better. I am just not 100% ( 99% indeed ;)) satisfied because i am seeing the futur model of Storz & Bickel.. It will be huge.. but until then i am really really happy of my purchase

This is the one vaporizer I always wanted because of the big bowl and s&b reputation. Also, vape critic says a lot of good things. But do you feel it is necessary if you own a mighty or crafty to buy a plenty. If the hits are more potent and can take me to next level, I would be extremely interested.. The bowl size of the mighty is a lil small for me. I. Have a high tolerance.

The Plenty is the hardest hitting vape I have used. But it also uses the most greenage.

I would have kept mine if money/weed was not an issue where I live.

I have the crafty and i saw the bowl of the mighty on its topic, i found them a little bit ridiculous.

I am a 10 years old joint smoker, one year vap now, i needed something strong to stop joint.. Volcano and Plenty fitted the need perfectly, not the crafty.

A volcano or a plenty session is equal to a joint.

You will need 3 sesion of crafty and certainly 3 of mighty to equal the joint. I am sure that the crafty and mighty wont fit the big needs. These two are more on the go to my eyes not home desktop vap. Their bowl are too small an their battery too weak to shut you down... Nice during holydays, poker nights at friend's homes and walk in forest but not in front of movies or sunday afternoon at home.. Maybe i have also a too high tolerance but after two days of crafty test its my opinion.

Here is my vision after more days of tests...Yes, really satisfied. I am plenty smashed, no problem from this side.

The only problem with the plenty its the temperature management.

For exemple, i finish my session at level 7 then i do my things.. I come back to the plenty for an another session and i forgot to put it back to the level 5 so after the re-heat i am with a plenty at 7 while i wanted it at 5... So you must to put back MANUALLY the temperature after every session.. This clearly sucks... :bang:

This inconvenience is solved with the crafty as when you turn it on it will go to the first saved temp...and then on a double clic on a button it goes to the second saved temp.. the boosted one.

For the big clouds and long session do level 5, 5.5, 6 very good nothing to say about this its excellent..

Ya.. It does his job and well no problem but please S&B do a plenty 2.0 fast ! We absolutly need a plenty refresh with the crafty mighty evolutions..

A Plenty with 3 saved temperature with a special red button for the highest :luv:, vibration to stop looking at the led to know when temp is reached, bluetooth, option to maintain or not temperature after reaching it, App, led colors to indicate when its heating when its ok, a temperature control like the mighty's one on the side to have it under your eyes when you have it on hand or on the table.

With all this it will be perfect.:tup:

I'm in Australia and recently acquired a 110v version of the Plenty. Does anyone know what step down transformer I can get away with using for 240v? I emailed Storz & Bickel but have heard nothing back from them.

For a single session, how long can you make a full bowl last with the Plenty?

I'm thinking about getting a Plenty or Mighty, but I kind of like the big bowl on the Plenty.

Personally i dont do full bowl. Its really big to fully load it. You could pack 1.5G in it if you want, even more.

You will be more comfortable with the plenty anyway if its for home.

The plenty gives you really all what you need. I think that the mighty will annoy you to charge it all the time..

No battery ? No Vap.. Dont have this with plenty.

That was my thinking too, I see the Plenty being more practical than the Mighty. Not to mention, it seems there are a lot of issues already with the Mighty/Crafty. I also don't like the cooling chamber on the Mighty, the abundance of plastic concerns me when hot vapor is passing through.

I would love to hear from someone who has used both.

I use the crafty, its the same as the mighty. I use the plenty too and the volcano.

Crafty is very good for on the go but at home i use plenty or volcano and rarely the crafty because of its conduction part and because you cant beat the volcano and the plenty in term of quantity in a draw.. I got a fully ballon loaded vs a little bowl heating your material progressively.. Its more practice to use the volcano or plenty than the crafty at home.

Exactly my thought. I've settled on Plenty. Thanks!

It's all in the reflexes.
I honestly haven't used my plenty since I got my crafty. I only like to take a couple hits in a session. Imo the crafty works better for this. However if your a pretty heavy user Plenty is the way to go. It's A work horse. Chamber is large and it's a plug in unit. Battery power on the crafty would be an issue for a heavy user I would imagine.

I am a big fan of the Plenty vaporizer but I have not seen much anywhere regarding modifying it.

I love this device and the I use the cooling pad all the time because I vaporize small amounts. What I am curious to try is adding something like steel washers stacked together in the chamber so that it fills it similar to the liquid pad but leaves a small tubular hole in the centre. Since the vaporizer path would now be smaller and narrower, would it make better clouds since less air would be mixed in? I think this could be an improvement over the cooling pad but I don't want to start even considering some testing until discussing it with other Plenty users or anyone who understands what I am trying to accomplish, safe materials, etc.

I hope to hear from you and get some discussion going about this!

mod note: Merged into Plenty thread to avoid loss of info for Plenty fans.

fewer users = less mods.

For what you are thinking of doing, I would not use washers. They will act as a heat sink that will take up a lot of your heat at first (making wispy hits) and once they get hot they will start vaping your herb using conduction. I would try wrapping your load in cotton first and see how you like it, other than the t-shirt taste.

I used the washers as an example for visualizing. I hope someone has already thought of this and has some info to share! There must be a simple way to make the chamber smaller just by adding the right materials.

The more I think of your suggestion, the more I like it. I need to find some organic cotton and make a donut...

Perhaps you could drill a hole in the oil pad and put another screen over it.

Hi I have little shards of what looks like brass or copper collecting in the screen of the temp gauge in my plenty what could this be from? Have I been inhaling this? :\

If you do, try it with a whole nugget. You get about three super tasty, wispy hits at first. Then you take it out, crumble it up and finish it with the head bangers!

That does not sound right but I wonder if that would make it to the airway? I would contact the manufacturer and ask to make sure. Considering the screens on the unit, I would be surprised if something got through.

I understand your concern, i stopped using my Pax because i was noticing the metal scratching off as I used it. I was scared I was inhaling metal. (I'm not slamming Ploom. PAX is a great vaporizer, mine may have been defective, but it was enough for me to stop using it)

I haven't seen this, and I wouldn't expect it to be from Plenty. Do you have any idea what it is? and where it came from? Can you get a good picture? Or it may be too small...

Either way, as far as your concern of inhaling anything foreign, it would be unlikely for anything to make it through the screens, herb, and that sticky coil.

One idea is to clean your coil with ISO, and drain the ISO in a pot to see if there are any pieces that were stuck in the coil.

Report back please!
