On the Road Solution?

Dear fellow FC members, I think I need your help!
...May have been reading too much and am a bit confused regarding which vape to choose...:p

I want a fully 'portable' solution, for vaping 'on the road':

I already own a Solo, which I love and plan to upgrade as well (stems, etc). But I don't wanna risk losing unit/breaking stem :argh: or attracting unwanted attention from the wrong crowd (i.e. dodgy people at clubs, etc).
For example, I will be travelling this Easter to a place where its ok to fly a vape in and Police are pretty lenient towards tourists and pot, but its still a rather rough place and vaping out on the corner with a $300 vape may not be too wise...:nope:

SO, my initial idea is to get a heavy hitting 'portable desktop' unit for say, the hotel room/relative's home and a 'battle vape' for going out and about and occasionally for clubbing, concerts, etc. As well as using the Solo for a 'middle of the road' option for vaping during day time, for example.

Technical requirements?
It really has to be able to handle Ice-o-lator/Moroccan type hash well. (yes I am aware of the cotton trick, but can't mess this up or I fear I will relapse into combustion :puke: and can't tell in advance what type of gear I will get either). Some of the places I travel to only have this type of stuff available.

I have been looking at the Minivap/Mighty for 'static' use. Am pretty much sold on the first one.
For 'battle vape' category it is a lot harder...
Have looked at:
Imag +: This one would be ideal, it seems like a nice build and could afford to lose/break it.
Are new versions any good for ice-o-lator?? I believe I read on the dedicated thread that new models don't come with the oil cart adapter anymore?
Haze: wouldn't it be too 'nice' for the trenches?
Flashvape: idem?
Persei: Don't wanna risk clogging the oil cart; does only oils from what I have read, right? Maybe too nice as well but may pass as a cheap e-cig??

Financial requirements?
Well I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible, but want a quality solution above all. That's why I thought of the MV/mighty and a cheaper vape to go along...

Sorry for the long post, am really at a loss here, since I can't try any of the aforementioned vapes...
Any kind of help will be greatly appreaciated! :bowdown:

Cheers!

:peace:

i have the haze, and for the price it's very efficient. I have no problem vaping any kind of materials and no one bats an eye at what it is. User replaceable batteries keep you going.

I have a Flashvape and its a very good and affordable, but it's not very portable and is on the heavier side

Also the oil cart of the imag isn't worth it.

Downward spiral
Persei with the Hercules SR74 attachment will chew up anything you throw at it. Bring on the hashes!!

--Very solid quality(in case you drop it while out and about), built like a tank.:bang:

--Get black colored Persei(the Hercules is black too) and you will be quite stealthy and probably go unnoticed:cool:(peeps will assume it's an e-cig mod before thinking it looks like a hash/wax vaporizer):ninja:

--Use the Persei and Hercules to defend yourself with in this bad area you are visiting, it's like a mini police baton. :goon:Thwack!! Thwack!!

--Incredible, very knowledgeable customer service(go visit the Persei thread and see for yourself):myday:

--Easy cleaning. Break down your Hercules, soak in iso alcohol, no hashes residue in your pen for return flight home.:science:

I honestly don't know what device I would rather have for concentrates(wax/oil/hash etc) than the Persei/Herc combo. Nothing out there on the market would make me change that statement.

Thanks everybody for your replies and advice! :)
I had read individually about most of them but needed some input regarding my personal needs.

@TNT_error
Thanks for letting me know about the Imag, shame about the oil cart...I guess only dedicated pen-style devices fit the bill for concentrates? (Apart from the Haze ofc).

Will keep the Haze in mind :nod: (although I still find it a bit too 'nice' for the 'gutter': I mean its x2 the price of the other contestants so function-wise it should be superior, no doubt. Problem is, I was either looking for something stealthier (like the Persei) or downright cheap and functional (like a VG, as CaptainDave has pointed out)).

@Monsoon
Shame it isn't out yet, but i really like the concept :tup:, same as VG (as stated below). Problem is, I was looking for something 'field tested' that delivers without a doubt. Also may be a bit too finnicky for a club/concert IMO..
Having said this, I'd totally see myself using this for camping and other outdoors activities though! ...Also have a few friends that would appreciate this too.
I really like edibles (and nearly gave up combusting a few years back when I was growing with other friends!) but they may be a bit hard to conserve for a whole week or 2, in a hotel, even biscuits. Also, its hard to dose in a party environment/unknown environment with lots of unknown people, not to mention I'd have to fly with them (sometimes internationally) which am not really comfortable with (at all! :borg:).

@CaptainDave
Great idea!:clap: I like the different setups they offer (pipes/coil, etc). Really cheap as well. Only concern may be cleaning...Not the most popular out there, but users on this forum seem pretty happy with it.
I might just buy it as a 'The 3rd Vape'. Thanks for the tip!

@Silver420Surfer
:lol: Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. This may be the one!

I was leaning towards this one initially, although I am still pretty confused as to what type of concentrates do NOT work on it?:
On the Persei user guide, page 12 (FAQs) they discourage using the Persei with water-made concentrates:
ok, I won't try rock solid Moroccan Ketama/Ket. Gold style in it, that's for sure :haw:, but would something with a seemingly Afghani/Nepalese consistence work??

I honestly don't have a clue about plant/matter ratio in them, but it does get pretty runny if you keep it in you hand/pocket for a while, leaving that characteristic 'shit' stain in the baggie :razz: (although some may be 'water-made' THIS is the reason why I still doubt about this vape...).
Then again, if my concentrate is 'running' ok, what is so inherently wrong with water??

I'll drop an email to their reps ASAP, to iron out all the details (ofc this one does fit into the 'too nice' category as well :drool: especially with all these accesories...I fear I may be too much a noob to correctly operate this beast...)

Thanks again for your help folks, I knew I could count on FC!

Ww.

:)
I have to admit the fault is mostly mine, I did not read the Herc 74 manual, duh :doh:, hence my initial confusion. Just needed to do more reading on the Persei thread as well...

Thanks again for al the input, I was pretty confused w/ all the options, I realise I may not even need the MV ...just yet :rofl: (It'd break the bank also, need to save up a bit more...).

:cheers:
