You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
I installed a hook on the side of my desk to take the weight of the cord. I don't have problems with the nano falling over or getting pulled off.

Nice! Inexpensive and useful... I use a swivel jewelry box that I keep screens, keck clips, dab containers, etc. like this one:

The open bottom allows me to keep the temp dial in place on top of my bar. Saved me from drilling a hole in the bar, though this option still intrigues me for my future setup. A few people thought the vape was attached or included with this box until I picked it up and showed them.

I agree that a stand is the only way to fly. While spending another 30 bucks hurts a bit, the Nano has such a reasonable price, and with the FC discount the whole combo only cost me a little over 200. I do sometimes find it a bit tricky to get the Nano on and off the stand, but otherwise I couldn't live without it.

The maple stand and maple Nano make a nice match, and even Cooper in the background is nicely color-coordinated.

Now I just need to order one of these beauties!!!

How come some Nano's have two round cuts on them & some don't?

Huh? You mean the ridges/rings cut around the top on some like in pic below? Those were on very early models. Think the "smooth" nanos became standard production summer of '13. Bases were also changed to anodized black some time ago. The cool "enano" engraving on bottom was only first couple runs (if that much). nano below is one of the first 20 (12th? 15th? somewhere in there).

Would guess Andy would do custom like this for a reasonable charge. Don't think it matters in use.

Andy might have stopped making it with the rings because they take longer to produce, but I must admit those rings give the e nano a distinctive look.

Hi guys! I love my nano and this is my first time posting to this thread, so while I'm at it I'll share my set up!

I use a D020-D and ever since I got all this it's been my daily driver. The nano is perfect for me (a college student) since it's so small, hits like a truck, and is super efficient! I'm a daily user and I can make a 1/2oz last a month! Absolutely love this thing, which brings me to the sad part :(

I emailed customerservice@epicvape.com but in my experince they have been horribly slow at replying and was wondering if there's maybe a way I can get a hold of them quicker (perhaps by PMing the maker on FC)? Any help is appreciated! I just hope I can get this sorted out fast!!

Click @ACE OF VAPE and then select "start a conversation".

You'll be sorted, never fear.

You know what would be cool? 'Build-A-Vape' custom E-Nanos where every option is available from wood choice to rings to lighting to engravings...all clickable on the website...
-Nadia, get to work!

Do a google search for "CPQ Systems" - I just started researching them for my company's website. I've need a "system configurator" type web app for a while now. You should be able to easily integrate with your existing website.

Very fine setup you got there! Damn shame about the crack. I had a crack develop on my Figured walnut, got it replaced with no problems. Fortunately for me, I waited until my second (super exotic) nano arrived. So I didn't have to go nano-less while my Figured walnut got replaced!

Luckily the crack will not affect performance of your vape, hopefully you get it replaced soon! Hang in there, we know how slow EV's service can be at times

I love cracks in wood.
Fill it with wood filler if it bothers you?
I haven't used mine in a month.
GonG's are the most important!

Unfoutrantely a wire also was pulled out when I tried to disconnect the power cord. The vape doesn't even heat up :(

Ouch!! Double bummer! Think the wood itself is one of the biggest reasons for splitting. According to a friend I have who turns bowls, sometimes the wood is prone to splitting but doesn't actually split for quite some time.

As others said, PM Andy here. Am sure he'll fix you up.

Just out of curiosity, how long have you had it? And, did you buy directly from Epic, or second hand?

It is ripped but I'll see what I can do!

I bought it directly from Epic about 5-6 months ago.

Yes that's exactly the one I was talking about. Why did that design stop? Was it to save production time? I think that was a nice little touch gives it character. I also think the silver base ring or even the naked nano looks more classic.

You can literally have any design u want on your nano!

I know but that's going to be at a additional cost. After doing countless hours of research (I'm up to page 70 now) I have decided that I want to put my money on the Enano. I was trying to order my Enano which totaled out to $196 but I'm a little short on money at the moment & have only $185. I e-mailed Andy two days ago hoping he can give me a slight presidents day discount & I will be in business. ::patiently waiting::: :nope::cry::hmm:

There may be an FC discount but idk for sure maybe someone's else does. Also I don't think making a ring or two will cost more, I could very well be wrong. The more intricate designs will definatly cost you.

I'm short after using the FC discount that's the problem. I don't want anything too fancy just a good working Enano that looks good because I know it will last for years to come.

Damn, that sucks! Hope you get it sorted out soon! I

Very true, my friend has been turning bowls for 20 years now, has a basement full of partially ("rough") turned bowls that sit for 6-8 (or longer) years before he finishes making them.

However, those rules don't apply to log vaporizers. Because of the prolonged exposure to heat, the wood will dry much faster. If a Nano will crack, it will most likely crack (or start cracking) within the first 6 months to a year of use.

Does the Enano use less herb than the Solo? My main purpose of purchasing would be to use my herbs more efficiently. Has anyone ever made a video comparison with the Solo & Enano?

i don t own a solo... but what i have heared the nano is more efficient...
but the only way in my opinion that a vape is more efficient than the nano is a vape where you don t have to use any material...

i normally as far as my scale is correct use 0.03g per load/stem and get minimum 4 nice hits out of it...
