My wife and I are having the time of our life tonight. It's like everything's new again.

Anyway, back to the love of my life.

Oh yeah, I am never getting out of bed on Friday the 13th ever again! Last Friday the 13th (Dec. 13, 2013), I broke my left wrist, leading to all the shit last year. Now this shit today. :disgust:
@Vicki - I hate to tell you but I just heard on Coast to Coast AM that we have 3 Friday the 13ths this year. Next one is in a couple weeks in March . . . sorry . . .:ugh: Hang in there.

This whole Mercury in retrograde thing really messed with me this time. Glad its over . . .

@Vicki heat is also your friend. Do you have one of those microwavable rice pack thingies that you can drape around your neck?

Poor thing. I've had whiplash a couple of times now and I can relate. Did they give you a neck brace?

Happy Valentines to my special 'family' here. And remember... I love you guys. And you can believe that; even if Brian Williams is reporting... :p

Ouch . . . sounds typical for a car accident though. Hope you have some Ibuprofen or something.

I'm not allowed to take Ibuprofen, Naproxen, or Tylenol anymore. :( I'm even on a low protein diet now because of my kidney disease. The doctor I saw yesterday gave me Flexeril, but I am only taking it at bedtime.

My typical prescription for that would normally be Soma,Percocet, and some extra dabs. But @Vicki I don't know what u can take .Maybe check out tramadol? Sorry I hope u feel better.:(

I have Flexeril and Oxycodone. Stupid kidney disease is really limiting my options now. :(

I am using the dry heating pad I used last year on my wrist. It is helping some, but the doctor said my Rheumatoid Disease is really bad in my upper neck too, and that just makes everything worse. They said I start to feel better in a few days. :)

I have been laying in bed, but I hope everyone is having a good Valentine's Day! :)

My ex spouse had arthritis really, really bad in his neck - a chiropractor got him taking a handful of alfalfa tablets every day, and the stiffness & pain diminished greatly... maybe, after the first month?... and the calcium deposits in his tissues vanished.

It's another plant that CANNOT HURT... start slow, though, as it will move everything in your system OUT... like, a capsule morning and night, and work up slow to a half-dozen twice a day (that's what he did... if you get the runs, though, back it down. You are a MUCH smaller person than he)... I was doing pretty much the same amount at that time for just good health, as it is very good food, even in pill/capsule form.

It did absolutely NOTHING for his assholiness, so it's NOT magical.

Stupid twat.
The correct response would have been to blow his brains out in despair. Then she would know he really loved her.

I have recently noticed Mrs Dorkus seems to have a few miles on her now, & Im thinking of either trading her in or sending her to the same farm my parents sent my dog 'Benji' to when I was 7.

Personally Im not too fussed on which one.

But let me introduce the new up & coming Mrs Dorkus!

She might be unhappy now but imagine her excitement when I tell her about my penchant for blow jobs & anal sex!

2 birds one stone so to speak,
and Im always happy to let the chick pick up the cheque.
Ima new millennium kind of guy.

No she cant use my toothbrush, but I have some nice beads she might like.
However I am looking forward to us going out & getting shitfaced.

I hope those of you who can feel better will do so soon.
For those of us with mental illnesses, I advise you to ignore all the voices except the one that tells you to buy chocolate.

and for those who are permanently broken or impaired, just for laffs I will send the new mrs dorkus around to shit in your hat while you are wearing it.

Turns out, for shits & giggles is the same thing!

who knew?

WTF @Vicki . So sorry, I hope no one was hurt? You've been having some bad luck here lately.

I use heat for arthritis pain in my feet and hands. My low back and neck responds to heat and cold. I don't have the same type of arthritis as you have. There is over 100 different types of arthritis.

Well, our car is totaled, and we are seeing an attorney on Friday. :disgust:
Sorry @Vicki . . . The totaled car CAN be a blessing assuming the process isn't going to financially hurt you. Driving repaired cars, especially ones with frame damage, is a huge risk in my opinion. Like driving with a cracked windshield, even a repaired one, the car will never be the same and is weaker as a result of the process. I'm assuming since its Saul Goodman time that the driver that hit you either ran or was without ID, on parole, no insurance, was intoxicated, or somehow otherwise negligent in the accident like texting while driving for instance? If you intend to sue them civilly/personally thats cool, I wish you luck. Their insurance should be willing to settle with you for pain and suffering etc. I have seen people do this with and without help from lawyers. Your insurance company should be willing to go after these guys so try not to drop a bunch of $$$ on a retainer fee. I like lawyers who work for free until they generate some kinda income out of the process then they can take a %.

That's the kind of attorney we have. He will not collect a fee until we win our case. They wanted me in their office tomorrow, but we are waiting until Friday afternoon because Shawn and I agree I shouldn't be driving because my neck is really stiff. The attorney also wants to send me to their doctor.

I know I don't have any broken bones, but my neck really hurts and I've had a headache since the accident. The attorney is sending me to another doctor for more tests.

The doctor gave me Flexeril on Friday, but it's not helping the pain, nothing is helping very much. I'm using a dry heat pad too.

@Vicki hopefully the other driver even has insurance. In FL it's a 50/50 chance. Watch out for the old "go to our Doctor trick". Their doc may have a significantly different opinion than one who only has your best interest in mind. Don't let "their" doc tell you how you are feeling.
On another note, have you tried any CBD products from Omega Labs. Quite a few people are having great results with pain, myself included.
Also my doctor prescribes me something called Limbrel 500 (it is a prescription food supplement not a drug per se). It is for arthritis. However, I take it to augment my pain management from Lumbar Laminectomy. As a result I feel much less joint pain in my hands. Bonus. Lots of info. Hope you feel better.
