The main difference is the height of the perc. The V1 perc was a bit too high at more than 1/2" from the bottom of the can. The V2 is no more than 1/8" from the bottom. The V2 perc seems a bit more refined. Also the V2 is available in 3 different neck styles AFAIK. LH Sidecar, RH Sidecar and original style (bubbler neck). There are other subtle differences but those are inherent to individually blown pieces.

For me the 710 is the ideal dab rig with my enail. The flavor retention is truly amazing. It is almost airy, there is so little drag. The joint is a 14mm male. I can't imagine the need for an AC. I am having a small drop-down made for it by @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd just to move it away from my face a little bit.

How can this possibly be true for even one person's experience. Maybe vaping there is less so a difference (though I still notice differences between pieces), but dabbing is hugely dependent on piece/can/perc size for flavor and effect. I can distinctly tell a difference in effect of a micro dab on a 4" mini tube where it is about right size for me to handle, vs a micro dab through like a 16" downgridded sov kingstem where it feels like a little sip. This is due to the dab being diffused much less and having no real can to build claim on, and does have an effect on potency. Even comparing my double micro toro to my tall circ-turbine bronx bubbler I can tell that the bronx has a larger can size (even though they are roughly the same height with the bronx being taller by maybe 3", toro is just more compact in each chamber) just from a blind test. Even if you keep them clean (to get to your other point here), chamber size still plays a huge role and each dab will individually have it's own reclaim, with more surface area on larger sized chambers. One piece could taste like lemon and the other like nothing though. (I agree with glass=glass=/=magic)
dang I thought orders wouldnt make it with cny, guess ill have to grab either that or the pillar (although the stereo matrix looks like it would fit my big tube void) after CNY ends. Hopeful to hear ur later review of it!

Don't feel too bad. Usually, trade-in's are a bad way to try to make money, unless you are dealing with people who have no idea what their stuff is worth. With stores, this usually isn't the case, and a LHS probably knows about, and even orders from Chinese knockoff bong makers, as well as being able to know they aren't worth as much as a brand name piece. It's not like you can trade in a couple gb-186's for a real Mobius Stereo Matrix at most places.
The Matrix Pillar will be going into production shortly after CNY, and I should have a sample to show you guys a little bit after the 25th. According to Steven.It probably is too late now to avoid CNY delays. I'm looking forward to the big Matrix pillar myself. I ordered the FC-710 and FC-187 at the same time from the guy that's making the pillars but they're not even stateside yet. Hoping the ones I get are as nice as some of the others here.
That one is interesting but too small for me. The 8-9" pieces are the smallest I can stand using. The Dcycler would be perfect if it was 15" or so. I don't think I would use another piece ever. (ok maybe not EVER

I have gotten better with the vortex since this session. The key is a very hard initial pull. That gets the water swirling correctly and it usually makes the drain a little slower as well.
If the waiting time bugs you then you need to pay more at your LHS or from an online store/reseller. There are reasons the bubblers are cheap.
I think that bubbler has a male joint so that means your gong would need to have a female joint (its probably male). I think you may need a 18mm female to female adapter. Its pretty confusing when starting out.
