Vapman

sorry, I m not good at painting

really sorry, I think there is a bad use of heat conduction and heat radiation terms. For example if "conduction" vapes works better with fine grind that indicate than conduction isn't the main heat transfer. Conduction work well with solids like metals and very bad with stuff like fragmented row vegetal.

If you want to call a sheep a cow you are free to, but it remains a sheep

edit: I have to admit that conduction vape sounds way way better than radiation vape :argh::freak::science::rip:
To me it just does not matter...all i know is when i put some herb or concentrate in my vapman and i apply the heat for 8secs then again for 4secs i get some nice tasty vapor..from then i apply at 5 sec intervals and to this date i have no complaints and whether it is conduction, convection or a hybrid of the two which i believe it is...this mutha fucka works and i am happy with it...very happy, i might would shed a tear if it broke!!

Thermal radiation is how your oven at home works. Simple as that IMHO. The Vapman is a little oven and transfers heat energy to the load just like your oven transfers heat energy into whatever you're cooking.

While I find the subject of radiation and conduction very interesting, I don't think the Vapman thread is the best place to have this conversation. If someone would like to start a thread on the subject, feel free to do so in the general discussion area. I'll probably come back here when I have more time to move non Vapman-related posts to a separate thread.

:peace:

I'm anti semantics . However IMHO the central pin is an important element( pun intended) unique to the vapman chamber, ? Loads are heated from the core also.

Consequently @vapman has the top off the pin changed as mine is different to some pictured here ,secondly would irish bog oak suit a custom edition I'm in the market for a new one please what dimensions do you need .xlnT

pics or we don't believe it :)

My new @Ed's TnT mouthpiece just arrived and I have introduced him to Ginger, my yew vapwoman. It looks beautiful and matches Ginger perfectly. Eds mouthpiece really makes Vapman look stout and muscular so I may change Ginger's name to Brutus or something.

The most amazing thing about @Ed's TnT mouthpiece is how much better it feels on my lips. When it comes to mouthpieces the man is a master. It feels so comfortable it gives me the sensation that it hits better. I don't know if that is just in my head but I love it.

I will post pics of this beauty as soon as I can get my hand on a camera. ;)

@steama Wow is that is quite the combo! Very nice, thanks for all the kind words my man, as I said thanks for all your cooperation and patience, you have been a solid guy and never once sweated me knowing what all I have been going through, I appreciate you! I am just glad you are as happy as you are and by all means if there is ever anything I can do you I hope you will let me know. I wish you many many blessings!

Yep, it is ¼" longer and the draw hole is larger on @Ed's TnT stem and it does hit better than the Vapman stems. Definate upgrade here.
Ah crap... That thing is beautiful! I'm going to have to order me one of those!

What wood is that?

Awesome work @Ed's TnT!

How much $?

One question Ed: the part of the Vapman original mouthpiece that fits into the wooden middle part is tapered. Is that straight in yours?

The good thing about the taper is that it will always fit even if the inside of the middle part widens with use of from cleaning it too aggressively.

Hello and thank you for your interest in my work! I gotta tell ya that piece is a prototype, it probably gonna change slightly, I have already thought of a change or two here and there due to manufacturing issues and such so hang in there with me, I am taking into consideration your question and anyone else's and input you or anyone else may have. Keep em coming my man!

Awesome.

I'm sure you'll get a ton of good input from a bunch of smart guys here.

Can't wait to see this piece evolve.

I just thought of something... I had thought about this before but had never asked René: why did he make the middle part and the mouthpiece separate?

Looking at your mouthpiece reminded me of that: Why didn't René make that in one piece?

I know he put a lot of thought into the Vapman so it'll be interesting to see what he says.

Just got my vapman. Opened the egg and elegance. Even the lighter and pouch look like expensive luxury goods. Going to check out performance in the morning.

Edit: double up on the elegance. Simply by looks, I know this will be one of my daily drivers. I'm not a picture guy but going to have to take some tomorrow.

I've wondered the same,so I made my own whittled using a Swiss Army knife.
The first one was from a (hemp trunk!)too soft
The second from bog oak to hard
The third is from New Zealand rimu wood and is just wright (three inches long)

This is totally not fair.....

I cannot "need" a new mouthpiece for a vape i don't have yet. .... poor hubby doesn't need to hear about this yet...

Hey, life is not fair......in case that's escaped your notice?

Let me ask a rhetorical question? If you somehow misplaced your VM stem you'd need to replace it, right? I'm thinking Ed would be faster than the Swiss factory? No need to bother hubby with the decisions here I think, he's a busy guy with troubles of his own, you can deal with it.

I've misplaced such stuff from time to time, nothing makes if reappear faster than ordering a replacement......

If you get caught I don't know you.

I might have gone excessive but bought 6 concentrate screens, screwdriver, extra Vm stem, 3 different mouthpieces, the torch (by the looks of it, I don't know how they can accessorize the torch and still be so cheap), a few of the screens on the stem, and an extra loading ring. I just wanted to make sure that I did not have to make extra purchases in future and pay shipping for i.e. a new bottom screen for the mv stem.

I did not know how the colors would match when I paired my vapman with different color mps. Every setup looks good. I am still shocked by the aesthetics. Have a wedding to go to on the beach today. Perfect time to test the vapman,
