Discontinued The Herbalizer

Madcap79

Jack of all trades, master of none.
I use your screen method @rogerrabbit . Works great! No screen cleaning. It works best with small amounts which is good for me. A small amount to me is about 1/4 full or less. I have found when I pack up to the bevel using this method that the taste can suffer and it bogs down the fan which is why you have to run more than one cycle. It kills the airflow. Anyway, great find good sir! I think most people are happy with the way the Herbie works out of the box and don't want to mess with the screen every time they fill up. It's just personal preference.

Yeah, I don't find cleanup to be a problem, and would rather not mess with the extra screen. It's all good though, as it's just a matter of preference.

@Madcap79, thanks for the tip.....I'll try using less bud, and see how I like it. Lately, I've been favoring another vaporizer, for better taste, and it may just be because I'm loading the bowl too full on the Herbalizer. I really hadn't given that any thought, as the other vaporizer was sitting in front of me anyway.

I may plug in Herbie tomorrow, but it'll have to compete with the novelty of the new portable vape that UPS is scheduled to deliver.

Sure you can. Just turn the box inside out! Then it's just a plain white cardboard box.
It's pretty easy.

Has anyone come up with a fairly inexpensive way to carry their Herbie around via some type of protective case?
In my area I can't exactly go out with it packed in the case it came in...

Has anyone used other herbs in your Herbalizer? If so what have you experienced with regard to taste and effects?

Mine says the same thing. Thats why im working from home, didn't want to miss signing for delivery and be forced into waiting till next week.
I am interested in your comparisons with the evo. Please keep us (those sitting on the sidelines) posted. I eventually will buy both, but am wondering which one I will buy first. If it does everything I want, hopefully I don't have to buy the other. I really want to try vaporizing at lower temps thru the day. The herbie is the only vaporizer that seems to do this well. I need relaxing medication (which seems on lower temps) especially if I have a lot of client meetings thru the day. And hotter temps when my lower back acts up from driving 3 hours in Los angeles traffic.

Evo certainly works great at low temps. That, in conjunction with water Filtration makes for the opportunity for great day time medication capabilities when used with the proper herb. Even heavier hitting herb had an uplifting effect on these lower temps and the evo is the best at low temp vape production of any vape i have tried previously

That said, i will be certain to give further updates

...they both do well...its going to come down to subjective analysis...you can't go wrong with either...I find that the herbie requires less maintenance ...(so far)...and being older that has its place..nothing beats or compares to heatup time of the herbie...after that they are both effective delivery tools..

...yeah talking about the hydra tubes...I use 420 and rezblock and...its a whole production...I enjoy it...but not everyday..plus there's nothing really to hide if non vaping friends drop by...although I don't have many...non vaping friends...lol..

I have an EVO and Herbalizer and I don't think I have used my EVO yet this year but my Herbalizer gets used everyday. I love using a Hydratube on top of my Herbie. The super fast heat up and precision temp control really make it the clear winner for me. I might bring out my EVO today just for old time sake. It makes a great backup to the Herbalizer :)

@Vicki can you detail your experiences with the whip since getting your herbalizer back? Do you find ever that some draws produce little to no vapor while other draws produce much larger clouds at a similar draw strength?

Get ready for a fun smack to the face! I rotate Herbie, Evo and the MV and every time I come back to the Evo it's a knockout!

I read about your experience doing this previously. I had a short 4 day break from all herb so even smaller Herbie hits are quite effective. I will probably pull my Evo out Sunday. I do miss it. Despite how awesome Herbie is I can't pick it up like I can with the EVO. That's the one advantage the EVO really has for me. Whether I use a hydratube with EVO or Herbie the quality of vapor feels the same to me. I can't tell any better difference by having a more pure all glass path. Maybe it is just me though.
