Arizer Solo

I just thought that I'd chime in and report that my first Solo lasted just under a year before dying. My battery wouldn't take charge, regardless of a few attempts at resetting it. It worked well for the time that I had it, I just assumed that it would last longer. I ordered a new one as soon as I knew it was finished, we'll see how long this beautiful silver device lives.
Hey I just wanted to let you know that the battery in the solo is replaceable . Many sites and even a forum member here sell replacements and even bigger batteries than stock. It's nice that you have a extra one now but you could have easily fixed it.

I really can't say enough good things about the Vortex Stem.
It really brings out the best favors out of my meds. I am able to use heat level 5 then bump up to six at the end of my session. Normally I'm one heat level below that, 4 then go to 5. I can use the high temps without coughing or having to use water, unless I want to. The one inch extension on the stem gives my vapor more time too cool off.

I am looking forward to the bent stem version, PV said they would be making the GonGs too. I will be one of the first to order. Not sure though when they are suppose to come out?

The batteries on the Solo have a 1 year warranty. A 2 year warranty on the unit itself.

Hi Everybody,
I`m new to FC but have been using my Flowermate V5 for a few months and am sold on vaping. I`m thinking I might go with an Arizer Solo and back it up with my current FM V5 (maybe eventually the new FM V5 Mini)...
Any advice or input on the best deal on the Solo (I`m in Canada and was thinking of going with the $159 CDN sale at Torontovape)?
Thanks!

Whenever someone mentions price, my first instinct is hit up randy at piu (puffitup.com). I actually never purchased but he gave me quotes on vapes I wanted (I didn't purchase because I wanted an accessory that was only sold by the manufacturer and wanted it in one complete shipment)

Thanks, I`ll get killed on exchange rate, taxes, duty, shipping ect unless his price is really, really low (I`m in Canada)!

my solo got returned after 18 months and got a brand new 1 I was about to order a new 1 until someone said on here they are covered for 2 years ! solo = excellent customer service

Agreed. IMO it's nearly impossible to wear one out in two years but if you should, or it should surrender under your assault, you're covered.

I say "go for it!!". Great tool, get one and use it.

But have a backup handy should you need to send it in.

that doesn't look right... can you push the ring back down in place? on mine it is sitting down flush all the way around.

Ahaaa so you can see the pic? On my phone it was not showing so i ignored the fact i just posted something.

Yes, that was my question, is it normal? Does it make a difference? I think not but you never know...

It's hard to push down, i can bust it a bit into place with the cap. But that's not preferable...

Oh yes, I know this. I was originally going to go that route. Then I realized that my warranty was still in effect. I had ONE day before it ended, so I contacted the seller and seemingly sorted it out. He wasn't being very reliable as far as getting me the information to send it back to be replaced and knew that it could be a long process, so I decided to grab a new one. :D Thanks though, I may dabble with my malfunctioning Solo so that I have a backup.

I have it for 1week.. Is it a problem? I don't want to go through the hassle of sending it back.

Doesn't affect the performance it seems. But then again, i'm new to the vaping world.

I hit a new spot today, an old high school friend works there but I didn't see her. XJ-13 and Agent Orange, the terps on this XJ are so fantastic, I love Jack Herer and the crosses' taste. Definitely one of those strains that once you've smelled it you can pick up on it 100% of the time. The Agent Orange smells just like orange peels, level 2 dry...

I have two Solos. One is normal. One has the same problem as yours, the "factory retaining ring" is cocked to one side. Usually I can get the ring to seat flush with the top of the heater by pressing all around with a film canister of similar plastic piece, but not with this one.
Easily solved though with the use of the #113 "O" ring.

Checking in with 2 new replacement solos. Both very solid, way more consistent temp than first three. Also walnut nano arrived at same time, so much testing with gsc required. Lots of love from the mountains of green.

Could you make a comparison video between the nano & the solo? I'm thinking about getting a nano but really want to see a comparison first.

I usually get the run over by a tractor strains that nobody else wanted, so if the GSC found it's way here, it may reach wherever you are. If you ever smelled that punky durban smell from yore, you will be able to pick it out of a crowd. Solo GSC ABV made into crockpot coconut oil is a game changer. I put the days worth in my morning cup of boiled water. Thennn, once that levels off l, I fire up the Solos.
