I can imagine what the girl on the right is saying..

"Wow. Can't believe how good this hits. Compared to a joint, I'm fucken ripped."

Judging by her enjoyment, she looked flabbergasted for the most part.

I just wonder how the oil cartridge is going to be inserted. I assumed it was the mouthpiece. I hope it isn't complicated switching from oil to flowers. Unless you can hit both at once...

I'm willing to bet IGG backers from years ago will get theirs first in April and June for those who came to purchase after.

Or from heat from a short vapor path or.............or there was some combustion going on.
Those are two or's I am doubting are the reason.

The vaporizer isn't even designed to get near combustion temperatures. I've made videos with more vapor and no combustion.

If the heat from the short vapor path was an issue I feel they wouldn't have been taking such extended drags.

in that video it makes it seem like they never tried any hard hitting vaporizers and they look like really light weights.

@biohacker its supposed to be pure convection, which could explain the clouds, on high temp, given their draws. I can get clouds thick like that out of Elevape and Firefly sometimes. I bet low temp is great too, just gotta draw slow and not go too low. We dont yet know what temp each notch is

Not knowing how the temperature settings work kills me. It's one of the most important features for me. I'm very disappointed the Arizer air has less options than the solo(it's the main reason why I will never buy it). I guess the vapor industry just thinks we are all unconscious users. I for one think 1 degree variations should be the standard. If you haven't played around with temperature settings for different herbs you're really missing out. You can get such varying effects out of herbs if you don't just use "the high setting".

This is a portable vape with an ultra small form factor!!!!!

It's designed to be inconspicuous. If you want extremely fine temperature control in a portable, I suggest you buy an Herbalizer with an appropriately sized true sine wave inverter and a deep cycle battery.

I am impressed with the whole design. The size looks good. The vapor output looked very good. The 30 watt heating element appeared to have zero issues in keeping up. The mechanical switch really sounded nice. Had a positive reinforcement note, so you know the heater is engauged. Looking forward to getting this and trying it out for myself. If that is the output from the standard, I have very high expectations from the Titanium Version.

I think 1 degree increments is kinda overkill and pretty unnecessary on a portable, like with the Ascent. I think 3 or 5 degrees makes much more sense, like the 5 degree Celsius increases on Solo and Herbstick. It can also be tough to actually measure the precise temp in a bowl in a portable, as long as I have at least 5 temps of varying effects I'm fully satisfied. I mainly stick to low temps as well, only go up to kill a bowl usually bc I love the headiness and taste, less harsh too. For high temps the plugins and bubblers come out

I don't know what to do. I thought I effectively passed on the pre-order, showing restraint, but they extended it another week. It's VERY compelling, if it really performs as claimed. I don't know what to make of the video. For one, it annoyed the fuck out of me (having nothing at all to do with the clouds / vape performance). And it seemed propaganda-ish / bullshitty, like when Sam said "I like this because with a lot of other flower vaporizers I've used, you don't get that cloud- it's so light, the vapor." It would be one thing if she were making a comparison to similar sized loose leaf vaporizers, but to say this about other vaporizers in general is ludicrous, and that this is the statement they want to present, that other vapes have light vapor and ours doesn't -- it's not like other vaporizers haven't achieved big clouds yet. I watched this annoying video a second time and idk, the coughing, could be the vapor is a little harsh / dry (not a dealbreaker for this tiny portable), but I was like viscerally tasting smoke. I'm not especially skeptical about the grasshopper in general, but this marketing irks me. I agree with @lwien -- I want to see ABV. And I wish they would come down to earth I guess?

What is the benefit of a pre-order? When they are actually making these for the consumers and not the backers don't you think they'll be moving at a much faster rate. Its not like you'll actually get your item that much faster. You still have to wait behind the backers then its the pre-ordered units and if they are at the point of shipping pre-orders they should be at the point towards where you can just buy it or sign up for the waitlist.

The unit isn't going to become that costly either, it just doesn't seem to be one of their intentions.

I thought the price is reduced somewhat for the pre-orders, compared to what it will be once released? I don't like to pay full price for anything.

EDIT: But you make a good point, may as well just wait for fc'ers to get it, spend a bit more possibly, rather than stress myself out about spending money on something that may not actually work that well. I am very patient / have no problem waiting, just hard to pass up the opportunity to spend less, but not as hard as wasting the money altogether.

And for the conspiratorial/paranoid out there...

Notice how other than the very first time the girls' use the GH, when Sam only got the faintest of wisps and her friend gets fairly light clouds, all other inhales are edited where you only see them while already inhaling and/or exhaling, but never again see them actually start the inhale. I'm sure it was edited that way to save time and keep the video shorter...but...:evil::rofl:

Any way...I'm sure it's legit and I'm patiently waiting for my Ti...but I wish there had been some boxes somewhere in the video...I miss boxes...:lmao:

sorry...just stirring the :shit: :)

Can everyone tell me why this unit is getting so much attention? is it because of its size or does it promise some different type of vapor technology. 136 pages before its release seems excessive. The Daisy has 24 pages, it got great reviews, and is currently able to purchase. I think I'm missing something. VAS itching for a reason to get interested, but if it's only size and look, vas will be gone.
Power and form. A functional pen vaporizer for herbs represents the holy grail of vaporizing at this point in time imo.

Happy I snagged 3 colored Ti Hoppers on the IG campaign.

If you have the money now and are patient it would be a good gift for you in May. Otherwise by May you'll have probably collected enough money to make the wait worth it.

Yeah -- I came upon this too late to be a backer, and I'd be fine with whatever if I'd gotten in on this at that phase / for a significantly lower price, but I'm hesitant to bother with the pre-order savings for the risk. I guess I have a few days to decide. I shouldn't exactly spend the money this particular week, but I'm coming into a little chunk in a few weeks, so I can swing it. I expect my turn on the HI wait list to come around in May-ish, so I have that going for me regardless.
