ps, I lost my Imag+ mouthpiece the other day. Jup sucks, I was on a ski lift having a vape, all was well until the mouthpiece popped off and fell 10 meters into a snowy tomb...never to be found again. Previously I had dropped the Imag a few times, the mouthpiece on its own a few times also (has no roll guard, wouldn't be a bad idea to add one), and the MP had taken some damage. It had a small crack in it, and so it didn't hold as snug as anymore, that's why it fell off for no apparent reason. But still, its pretty amazing, to think that I can sit on a ski lift in the middle of the Alps at -3°C and have a high quality vape session at the click of a button. Despite (the now lost) low quality MP, the Imag+ really does its job very well. Until losing the MP, I have been using it daily since October and it has always delivered and done what its supposed to do. Most people that try it, want to purchase one and ask me where to get it...then I tell them, wait until February, it will be worth it

They have scheduled a release of an updated version - with new "twist and secure" mouthpiece, around February. Mass production still not started yet, and given the date of Chinese New Year - I would rather say March instead. Phantom V is exactly the same as Imag+, just rebranded for marketing purposes. Note, that it is the older version, main difference is the mouthpiece, the heating element, and enclosure material. Newest carbon fibre version is also slightly smaller, thinner than older ones.

I am using it with tobacco, and I have to say I am loving it! I use exclusively pipe tobacco, two mouthpiece for two different flavour (well, one flavoured and one unflavoured). Dry cigarette tobacco is useless, it is nothing but a carrier material of at least a dozen harsh chemicals, rolling tobacco also tasted weird, so for an alternative of smoking you need to familiarize yourself with real tobacco first

The cut size is also important, as I have tried home-grown tobacco semi-humid, rough-cut and dry, fine cut is two different worlds!

You probably smelled honey - because you smelled the real fragrance, and tasted real flavour of tobacco first time - thanks for vaporizing it, not burning!

yes, it was interesting experience, and i am not a smoker at all, i just vape various herbs from time to time. it was definitely better smell than cigarettes

From reading the reviews of the version with a ceramic filter I'm glad I have the earlier version. It's still available but for more than the $59.

No, I don't think it is. Ceramic heats up lightning fast, much faster than PI heater version, also "taste" better, and only few ppl feels uncomfortable draw resistance, I use mine with the ceramic filter piece taken out, and extra screen placed between MP and heat chamber, one word - perfect.

Yeah I would have to agree. I'm one of the persons feeling the draw resistance and I wouldn't say it's worse than the draw resistance on the original Imag +. The new mouthpiece alleviates the past resistance that was sourced in the MP (using an extra screen like Gibarian mentioned, which I also did with the original). But in my opinion (I might be the only one thats experiencing this) the actual unit feels more resistant due to going from 4 air holes in the original imag + to 2 in this model. That's not to say I'm not getting vapor clouds. When I have it on green, and inhale deeply I can get properly medicated after two ovens. I'm pretty much used to it after having the vape for a while. The problem is when I'm introducing it to friends they have a tough time getting vapor. It's a device that I like and know works, but when trying to show it off the audience is usually disappointed with the output. My friends don't use vapes too much, so it could be attributed to that, IDK. It's interesting seeing the stark differences in experiences with this device. Some are saying it's awful, some are saying it's steal for it's value. I'm pretty much in the middle as of now but I still think the new model is an improvement over the original. Albeit, not a giant improvement, but maybe my expectations were way too high.

So weird. I get vapor on blue and large clouds on green. Maybe a video is in order. I wont be able to vape for a week or so but will throw up a video. My friends all love it

I also have friends that can't get decent pulls from the unit, and they look at me in amazament when I exhale of course a joke about my sucking skills follows..lol I was wondering if placing a basket screen in the bottom of the chamber would help with the airflow that has worked wonders for my Boss vape..I'll see if I have a moment to tinker with it tonight

I asked to Imag about my review unit since I don't get it yet, they told me they already send 18 units but they are making some improvements before to send the last ones:
"...Better insulated air path;
Improved electronics and circuit to ensure battery performance;
USB ports are better fixed..."

I don't expect to get it before the next week but maybe....

nice. I thought I was dreaming when they said they would send me a review test kit because I never had any company send me anything before I asked 5 different company's and they all said no politely lol. So I went off and just brought my own firefly and did a review. Just finished buying a seego vhit2 and a evod 1300 mah battery so I will be doing a review soon on that and finally viola blessed me with a email from the imag company to inform me about getting a review kit so I feel blessed and excited but I'm guessing I won't be getting mine the same as yours

thanks for your update because it helped out my update considering the fact that I haven't even asked them when it will come yet I just been letting it be. Idk but I think I might buy a crafty to review but not sure yet don't know if it's truely worth it's price being same price as a volcano.

So I find that I've been switching from my solo and imag every day. One day with the solo. The next day with the imag. REALLY like alternating between them. I'm not sure how much more improved this new batch will be but it HAS to be better right?

isn't it always my luck..... i open my mouth on how it has not shipped and i wake up this morning with a tracking number email from Raymond. so it is on its way i dont suspect it will be in my hands till late next week at the earliest, most likely early the following week. thanks Raymond!!

I mean its basically between Elevape and Firefly at this point, and hands down Elevape, made the right choice in buying way before the FF.

My friends Daisy is pretty incredible too, so as a more portable version I expect great things from the Lily, which I may be buying sometime soon.

T1 is also great, but batteries very limiting, so its much better as a home plug in unit with the PA, and also WPA which is how I use it at home. I guess might as well round off with underdog as old reliable, also great through water and great home unit overall

More than likely you guys will get the one I'm getting with the updated copper chamber with that ceramic filter inside the mouth piece. BTW I just got my email for the grasshopper to order either the 135 version or the titanium one for 185 which is the superior one idk if imma order it cause they are expected to start shipping in may and damn I'll rather just wait for others to receive them then post reviews before I actually invest that 185 but by then it'll probably be mass production at 260 a pop, that's just my thought though
