Do someone know how OEM Imedions are different from regular ones?
In this case OEM just means 'provided by Magic Flight with the kit'. MAHA only makes one 2400 mAh AA cell, and it's the same bat no matter where it comes from.

My PA died last week..the cable where it enters the battery has a short or something.I have to bend the wire in a loop to make a connection
That's an 'open', which is the opposite of a short. Bending the wire to make the connection 'closes' the open. When a wire gets bent, over and over, in the same place, eventually it breaks and creates an open circuit.

I use Powerex Imedion 2400 mAh batteries (LSD's). I didn't get them at Magic-Flight or Blisssville, but they fit perfectly. I think they are a great, sturdy battery that holds a charge for a long time, and the entire battery life is long too. More than a year so far. I think I got them at Thomas Distributors.

Ok, i also need to buy 4 extra batteries.

But which one to chose?

I think these are the batteries that come with the LB:
2078egy.jpg

They are 2400 mAh

I also can buy these:

or
r05eua.jpg

2500 mAh 2700 mAh

Any user experience on the 2500's and 2700's?

Of those choices, only the Sanyo 2700s are HSD batteries. The Imedions are the stock batteries delivered with the LB. They should fit perfectly. Sanyo batteries fit loosely, unless they've changed recently.

Edited to clarify which Sanyo batteries...

If you used AMEX you're covered. Any dubious or new company will only get my AMEX. They don't let scammers get by. Been with them for 30 years. Have never failed me. Just won a battle with a blinds company. As always I won and they bent over backwards to avoid an active dispute.

Hopefully someone will cut off their status as a vendor if they don't get it right. Let Magic Flight in Cali know!

I'll add my :2c: here. ANY credit card, be it AMEX, VISA or Discover, will do a chargeback for you. Just don't wait too long to do it because there are time constraints.

Here's the kicker that surprised me when I had a chargeback: Like you, a vendor filled only part of my order. However, the credit card company gave me a full refund for the ENTIRE transaction.

Depending on the dollar amount of transaction, you may or may not have to fill out some paperwork that says you tried to work with the vendor. If you have to do this, be sure to mention their online reputation and non-working phone.

Hope it all works out!

How long are the OEM batteries supposed to last before you have to get new ones?

this depends on many factors, mainly how heavy of use you put them through, and how you maintain them, i.e. not letting them overcharge, discharging them when storing for extended periods, etc.

the average consensus on LSDs are anywhere from 6 months to a year before they start losing their potency. I dont have much experience with HSDs, but i believe they have a shorter life.

I've had to do this with Visa twice in the past. It was such a drawn out hassle that I don't think I'll be doing it again over $35 worth of vape accessories. :D

Gonna give mine a go tonight hopefully, would have done it sooner but got high as fuck vaping with my VG the night before the LB arrived and I'm trying not to get into the habit of doing it all the time like I used to, which is tricky considering how much more euphoric and positive the high from vaping tends to be, it's so tempting to do it at virtually any time when all the drawbacks of smoking are taken out of the equation!

Thanks for the people who replied to my last post, I'll definitely enjoy the fuck out of it haha. Will report back probably tomorrow with my results :D

You are a stronger man than I. I forced myself to go dry for 2 weeks. All that ends this Friday, baby! I've never used my LB with anything higher than "schwag" because that is all they had at home for a while. I figured I would stop while the stopping's good, but I'll be joining you soon enough.

Ok! Wow... well... I think me and the box hit a groove last night. No combustion and I am starting to feel like I can control it well. I think the batteries have changed from the first time round because the heat seemed less intense in the box but also on the second charge they lasted a lot longer. But crikey.... this box thing really works doesn't it???!!!!!. Call me a convert. Beam me up Jesus and your alien pals because I am on the magic flight to Ubergooberland!

.... and the efficiency!!! THE EFFICIENCY!!!

... Boom Shiva !
Just received my power adapter and water converter for the mflb.

Wow this power adapter is surely worth it, it has transformed my mflb into a whole new vape. I'm quite enjoying the temperature control knob for fine tuning my mflb. Now its as good a desktop vape as a portable vape.

With the Power adapter, water tool and batteries the mflb has instantly tripled its appeal. There are definitely better dedicated vaporizers for someone looking for the ultimate vapor quality.

As a first vaporizer for solo use its to hard to beat the mflb for the amount of flexibility it offers also being portable when required.

If I were to get my wisdom teeth out and wanted to vape would I get dry sockets if I didnt seal my lips onto the acrylic stem and to just put my mouth near the end of the stem and draw? Because I know that you're still breathing in vapor if its close enough...

Try very hard to keep entire mouth flat and sort of open. The point is to make NO suction movements with your cheeks.. like sipping water or through a straw or puffing a smoke.
I had my Wisdom teeth removed over 40 years ago. I had my girlfriend take Vapor Hits and blow them into me, through my mouth and nose as well!

I managed to do it with my wisdom teeth out. It might be a bit harder to draw through with the stem, which is of course less preferable to something easier to draw through, like directly against the box. Vitolo has a great suggestion, too (and what I ended up doing; seems to be better technique in general)--leave the sides of your mouth open and breath in through your whole mouth, not just the vapor tube/hole. (edit: this works much better with the tube, imo)

It's called dry socket because the blood clot gets displaced and the lack of blood clot leaves a "dry" opening to your nerve. It's okay if it actually gets dry due to inhaling--you can fix that with water or just swishing around some saliva, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Good luck!

Ha, I got 2 partial dry sockets for blazing right after mine were taken out. I had mine done away, and they took all four of em. My blood pressure was high and they didn't want to knock me out or something... it felt really weird.

But yeah, I felt fine... and I had no swelling, just kept spitting blood. So I toked... and kept toking... and I was like, oh I'm cool... I'll smoke a cigarette too (this is a long time ago when I used to smoke) and then yeah, pain and another visit to the dentist. They crammed this shit in my sockets that looked like tobacco, tasted like shit... she crammed the shredded brown stuff into my mouth with a long qtip... HURT ha.

but yeah, if you don't seal your mouth, you're not really sucking... maybe you should use it native as a precaution... put your mouth on it and breathe soft through your nose, make the vacuum.

wake n blake,
A bag blowing vape is undoubtedly the best way to medicate after wisdom teeth removal or any oral surgery. Edibles excepted, of course.

Someone on youtube had a video of them making a crude bag-blowing rig out of their MFLB by attaching a bag to the acrylic mouthpiece and blowing gently through the back. It might be worth investigating.

I'm glad the dry sockets weren't that bad for you WakeNBake, I've heard they can be like childbirth.

A bag of vapor through the nose was one of the best post-surgery medications for me. You do have to be careful about not closing your mouth too tightly or suction can be created.

Oil and hash aren't any use in the MFLB i thought? So they wont be going into this box as it vape specific... And as for a stash I have the Preground tub and the griner...

I was thinking eye drops or a small multitool, something handy like that! :)
