next generation e-nails?

tennstrong

Well-Known Member
no yocan is not next gen.... thats just a e cig product....
I don't see how a portable temp setting enail that could heat adequately to the proper temp in a quick time isn't the next gen. Yocan in general is trash I agree, but their concepts are interesting. I don't mean their e cig battery style they have going now, but a marketed portable dabbing system that has maybe a quartz plate with ti surrounding (sorta like the genesis daddy system) and is small would have potential if it can reach the temperature correctly.

yocan is just like those e cig battery mods. you know the bulky battery/high powered ones.

divine tribe enail came monday. fastest shipping ever. the quartz nail already broke >_< but the ti nail is working well at 710°F with a cap. i had to revert to a bong setup so i could use the male ti nail but im really digging it now.

box is tiny, very solid. i put rubber feet on it so it stays put. heats up quickly. holds temp very well. i think the coil is 20mm. worth the price and im glad i ordered from this company.

very interested in the divine tribe enail option myself. It comes with a quartz AND a ti nail??

on the site it is 150 for the kit which includes the ti nail. i requested a quartz nail also which was 10 extra. the nails aren't name brand and are quite possibly from china but they're ok. not magnetic at least lol. ill probably spring for the hive ceramic at some point. but until then im happy :buzz::leaf::buzz:

I know that most enail units do not have a automatic shut off or a specific time increments to turn off so i was wondering is it possible to use one of those "electronic outlet timer " to turn it on and off and specific times? Their only 10-20$.

IS it hard to wire your own 4-pin mini or 5pin mini? since you cant seem to find any of those on ebay but there are some online but their over priced for over 75$+.

Well it seems gimido has one model that you have the option of picking the 4-pin mini, 5-pin mini or the regular 5pin xlr now. But the 5-pin mini and the 5-pin regular xlr is an additional $10.

This is the only one with those three options.

Is there a difference between the 15.8mm heater coil or the 16mm heater coil? Which coil fits the domeless.com ceramic nail perfectly?

Finally got a reply from Gimido.

Gimido said:

Thanks for your order.
I will tell you today, maybe 3 hours later.

Sorry for my late reply.
Because all chinese workers taking holiday.
But I and my one colleague still working for all our usa customers.
So very busy.

Guess this is what I get for ordering from a random Chinese company.

Yes you lucked out finding one of few Chinese businesses that stay open during national holiday. It's like complaining that your bank is open on Thanksgiving. :/

Say what you want about Gimido, but ever since I received the unit, it's been cloud 9 for me! I'm still waiting on my 'american' e-nails to arrive yet my Gimido unit has a stamped date on the bottom from 2 days before I received it! I've used it once an hour, every hour I've been awake in the time I've had it and I have zero complaints. It does not have an auto shut-off feature but I never forget to turn it off anyways.

If it has no auto shut off feature buy one of those eletric timers you plug in. you know, you use them for "grow rooms" and stuff like that.

The phrase “slow boat to China” is generally used to refer to the movement of goods or people which is very slow and taking undue long time. When someone is anxiously waiting for a shipment that doesn’t seem to arrive he would ironically remark that his package might be on a slow boat to China.

I have a rather positive association with "a slow boat to China" :-)

I placed my order before any Chinese businesses would have been on vacation for holiday. Again I'm not sure where this mentality came from that companies are doing you a FAVOR for providing the services you paid for, but it's beyond annoying.

Also received an email with a tracking number no idea if it's real or not though....only 6 days after placing my order!

Also if these companies are going to go on an extended holiday they should post on their website not to order unless you want to wait an extremely extended period of time for it to be shipped. No respectable company takes a week+ off while allowing orders to roll in and pile up. That's bad business.

Yeah and the guy who hit the mega millions jackpot is probably saying the same thing. "I won in one try! Why can't you guys!!!?"

Edit: figured my posts would auto-merge. Didn't mean to double post every other forum software I've used merges double posts automatically when posted so close together.

Mod note: Ours doesn't.

jared. you seem like nice guy. dont take this the wrong way. the world does not revolve around you. you want your cheapo chinese enail, you have to wait. they are on vacation dude. they bust their ass every other day to make our shit so they can feed their families. give them a week to chill out! you don't like the way they operate, don't order from them. order american instead. but the whole country of china is chillin out right now, so tough cookies. i know you are excited for your enail but chinese new year is something most people are aware of. keep in mind companies may sometimes take days to shutdown operations for a week. its not just like hang up your hat and out the door

seriously be grateful there is anyone at all still working. and go smoke a bong :science:

Calling another member a douche breaks our Be Nice rule. Warning point issued.
I wouldn't have ordered from them had I known what I know now, and just because you say I seem like a nice guy before proceeding to be a douche it does not make you any less of a douche. They are a company who markets items to customers like me in the united states of America. They even advertise that they ship fast.

They do not advertise that they take week long plus holidays with no notice. I'm not saying they don't deserve a break, I'm saying they should notify the people giving them their money if they plan to take one, or not allow orders to be placed until they are operating again.

Just sayin'. It is always an option. Peace of mind is priceless. Plus to be able to call and get a friendly voice on the other end.

On a similar topic. I find it odd that some people (nobody specific, I'm talking IRL also) will spend crazy money on a glass piece, AND ONLY the
Best meds, then go all cheapy when it comes to buying an E-nail or portable oil vape.

I don't understand the glass thing, but there's a massive difference between good meds and bad meds. There is not a massive difference between shitty enails and good enails. (In real world use) They essentially do the same thing.

yeah ultimately as long the box doesnt burn your house down, the biggest health factor is the nichrome coil. its funny we worry about purity of ti and then go and suck on nickel and chromium. myself included ;)

are there actually any usa made coils?

Hey now, get out of my head! :p Importance: meds > tools.

Honestly though, almost (yeah I know what you're going to post) every e-nail has the same guts inside. I spent some good time looking at PID features, and there's really not a lot to get wrong, or right. There's nothing special about any of the coils that I can tell. Choosing between mini or regular xlr isn't really a game changer.

So yesterday I dropped my pukinbeagle quartz nail about 5ft down onto tiles. Needless to say it did not survive :(

However, I splashed out! I have a second D-nail 1.2 on the way with a replacement 20mm pukinbeagle quartz DI nail and a HE infiniti w/ sapphire insert!

It's gonna get cloudy up in here!

I agree, mostly. But I don't think all Enails do the same thing....excatly. That's like saying that a Minivan will do the same thing as a Corvette. They will both go from A to B but, the same, no. A nice Xikar lighter, or matches. I never chose matches (I have 2 Xikar lighters but they are collecting dust). Oh well. To each his own.

I have seen a lot of talk about the materials that our nails are made of. But no talk of the materials in the coil. Surely if there is ANY off-gassing from the coil material, we are inhaling that.:worms:
Edit : I see someone else was thinking about coil materials too
