I think he is referring to how the core is very "touchy" with the connection where the cord plugs into the core insert. Mine always shuts itself off / blinks thrice / gives red light flash if I accidentally jiggle the cord during use. It has to be at such an angle where there is no stress or tension on that joint or it won't fire properly.... :( I wish it weren't so

Yes I have this exact problem and it drives me crazy. Still use the core all the time though for vaping at my desk.

Herc vs. KISS carts? Why is the herc worth the buy

@AirBear Besides the other reasons folks have already mentioned, the Herc also has the benefit of being able to vaporize all types of hash, from pressed pollen to bubble. I haven't personally vaped anything but wax or shatter in my Hercs, but that was one of the key selling points that G always stressed. The Herc can handle ANYTHING you throw at it. Hope this helped!

That is why i want one!

Add me to the list of folks with a faulty Core connection. The constant resetting every time I move is definitely a bit of a pain in the ass. The funny thing is that I originally purchased my Core so that I could have the power supply for the upcoming Flexo e-nail, but I can't even imagine how pissed off I would be if my enail was constantly resetting with the slightest touch. Any chance there will be a fix for this G?

Hey big baby Jesus,

Whenever I plug in the core, I get three blinking lights every time. But it works fine, I just click 5times and I'm up and running. Can you tell me what the 3 blinking lights mean? I see no problem. I always get it when I plug the larger core tube with my Persei top.

It should blink 3 times when you plug it in or screw on a battery, but 3 blinks also mean there's a short. I think I have a version 2 top. It definitely doesn't work when the lights blink again on my end, it's like disconnecting the power. If I rotate the cord or the angle I'm holding it at it'll blink again 3x meaning power was restored and it works. Drives me crazy when I'm trying to use it driving. I can see the police report now...

"What were you doing at the time of the accident?"

"Oh, I was trying to chief like Rastafari with my Persei/Hercules/Nibbler/Core combo, and I was looking down to see if the button was lit up or blinking at me."

Never drive and use. Herc gets me too medicated so I know it's not safe. On the other hand, I take draws from my omicron lite while driving.

Can you give us an approximate wait for the kiss alpha? I don't need a date but was wondering if it will be a few weeks or few months. I'm trying to save on shipping and would like to buy some other goodies from your website, but want it in one package.

Idk about others, but there's no such thing as I've puffed too much and can't drive. Like saying I've had too much coffee to drive. It actually makes me a slightly better driver, i.e. more patient and more tolerant of the incompetent idiots driving around me. That school of thought is a holdover from the all drugs are bad/the same, just say no rhetoric IMO. What is definitely not safe is allowing yourself to be distracted by anything while you're driving, like your phone or your fancy vape rig. ;)

In washington with legal cannabis we now have unfathomably severe consequences for having as little as 5ng/ml in your system. If you aren't medicated when driving you're a lot less likely to get suspected of being high and subsequently tested. If you use a Hercules they way I do, you'd flunk that test 3 days after using the Herc no problem.

I feel its incredibly irresponsible to recommend that one puff and drive or that there's no such thing as being too stoned to drive. This mentality is rather reminiscent of the 'ol professional alky who can get behind the wheel just fine and always makes it home without killing anybody until that one night when it was a little foggy around yonder curve.

Just yesterday I visited a dab/vape lounge, brought my Cloud Evo and Persei+Herc+Nib and the 8+Okeanos. 7, 8 dabs over a few hours off their rad pieces, e nails, etc with some great cali OG, GSC, and White Fire Alien flower going through the Cloud- there was not a chance of me operating an automobile safely after such an experience. (That's why I wasn't driving!)

Anyone in this country, and moreso us lucky ones in the legal states, are welcome do whatever they want with substances into their body in the privacy of their own home, But when you get behind the wheel you introduce the effects of that substance to the roadgoing public. They're not asking for it, and personally I feel that suggesting such behavior shouldn't be really be condoned in a discussion forum that's partly focused on evolving methods of cannabis consumption.

This is not the thread for debating driving while stoned. Please find one of the ones already started or start your own in the appropriate place.

I'm not telling anyone what they should and shouldn't do with their life, so please don't go putting words in my mouth saying I'm recommending to people what they should do. The core comes with a 12v adapter, where is the only place 12v plugs are found? Sorry if my honesty made you uncomfortable.

I just posted asking you not to continue this debate here. Further, your tone is belligerent and invites a heated response. Now I'm telling you: stop talking about the driving safety issue here and be nice, otherwise I'll give you a warning point.

So you're a moderator and it didn't occur to you I didn't see your post as I was typing mine? My tone wasn't belligerent at all, and I've no beef with Sam, he's a nice kid--we just have different opinions about something. You're right, we got a bit off topic, but don't go getting your panties in a knot.

Turns out, there's a whole world outside of this forum, and I don't know about where you all are, but it's awesome out here, so I'ma grab my Persei and go have a session somewhere sunny. :peace:

Yes it did occur to me. It also occurred to me that you'd had 31 minutes to edit your post and you didn't. Another thing that should have occurred to you is that we have this rule:
  • Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision please take it up in private with a staff member.
I asked you to drop this topic, then I told you you'd get a warning point if you didn't and you still wouldn't, so you leave me no choice.
