It's a difference between convection and mostly conduction IMO. The Solo can belt out serious vapour and milk just as hard as my Nano, but the Nano is soooo much more flexible, heater doesn't drop like Solo, no fancy electronics inside to break, and no 12 minute auto shutoff timer. The Solo is the only portable I own, and strictly use it with water and it's awesome, but I could live without it. Can't live without ma nano. Hope that helps. And welcome to FC and the Nano thread dude!

i love my nano and can recommend it! Don t know how long it does take until you recive yours after ordering... I got mine half year ago ... and this vape healed my VAS for plugin vapes... only have VAS for portable (hopefully this will also find an end soon my bank account would be happy)...
also this thing is efficient, tastes superb and also the price is fair... i would buy it even if i would have to wait for half a year (but don t hope so)...

again thanks andy for such a nice vape and saving me money also...

but i also can understand that people are pissed off because they have to wait... i am hating waiting too... as i ordered mine i didn t have problems it was delivered in "normal" time i remember... but i was nervous waiting as i wrote in this thread....

This is a vaporizer review forum. Not a company review. If u have a problem with a manufacturer u should take it up in a pm or emails JMO
If u have something positive or negative to say about the vaporizer I'd like to hear it.
It's just a bonus to be able contact the company thru the thread.

You all know I'm one of the biggest fanboys on this thread, but I can't say I agree with this. People should put their issues out there so other potential buyers can see them. Fortunately, none have had to go through what I and some very early buyers did when heaters didn't materialize for a couple months. I don't want to beat that dead horse again, and it is all there for the reading if you want to go back that far in the thread. The reason I bring it up here is that I (and several others I know of since then) are still here and touting the nano for being the incredible vape it is. Just the same, those who come on here and whine "you don't know what I've been through", "put yourself in my shoes" and the like need to knock it off. And, there have been a few. I guess I'd even give them a pass and not grumble about it if it looked like they had any idea of what they were talking about!

Different people respond to different issues in different ways. The situation may not be their fault (even though they should have known about it if only skimming random pages here and there through the thread or actually using the search function), but that response and the way anyone feels about it is on them - not on Epic or any other manufacturer or vendor. Expectations (especially in the face of repeated contrary reports) should be realistic. To expect something different is what baffles me. Didn't Einstein say something about this?

That's not to say your nano definitely won't be in your mailbox in a couple days and everything is perfect. Seems that is what happens more often than not these days. But when dealing with Epic (or most small companies found on the internet IME), you gotta chill a little and let things go. If you don't - that's on you, and nobody but you.

Still, personal experiences SHOULD be put out here. Anyone buying should have all the knowledge they can. This is probably the single greatest factor of what makes FC so fucking amazing! Info on vapes, manufacturers, vendors and the whole experience are what people are looking for - and can easily find if they take a couple minutes. The repetition and ongoing whining is a whole different thing tho. Glad that was addressed and hopefully won't go on so much if it happens in the future.

But, I admittedly didn't step up with my own responsibility to report it and don't know if others did. I'll take the hit on that - and will hopefully remember next time!

Made the plunge now I'm coming to the end of this thread and seeing some negative shit going down and now I'm worried. Got a couple questions for y'all. Whats the delivery time like these days? Also is this gonna blow my Solo away or will they be simular in vapor production?

Don't sweat the negative shit. There will always be haters, or people who think they were wronged because expectations weren't realistic. You can find more about all of this in the last several pages (and throughout the thread for that matter), but the reality is this is a very small company with only 2 people. If things are as they have been, one assists in customer responses and shipping. The other does everything else from procuring materials, to turning the wood, to putting them together and testing and probably a whole bunch of different other shit we couldn't come up with even if we spent days thinking about it!

Truth is, it may take a week or more to get your nano depending on factors we're not privy to (nor should we be of most of them IMO). There may be a mixup with your accessories. I'm sure there are other things that could be a problem, too. But, for the most part it seems instances of any of this are becoming more rare all the time. And, while Andy can be a pain in the ass to get ahold of and get a response from sometimes - he makes it all good and I'd say at least 95% of people who have problems are happier than anything at the end of the day.

IMO - and yes I've said it before and probably will again - I'd much rather see this and get the incredible vape you can for less than $200, than see changes that increase the price or lessen the quality of the vape. It ain't perfect, but it is EPIC!

Thanks for the reassuring vibes guys, I read through fifty pages or so singing its praise so I figured it would be a good call. Gonna have to read back ten pages as Ratchett suggested, but already having one Solo user verify that this thing is gonna be more beastly than it, my excitement has returned. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long, until then I'll be here with my Solo and Air just fantasizing about how clouds could get any better...

Dude.... the solo experience is so far behind this it is actually kind of hard to compare. Check my post a few pages back with the bullet points for the best I could do. The nano (probably any log vape) is so much of a better experience. Simply put - if you like your solo, you will love - and I mean LOVE - the nano. Have a solo I use regularly when a/c power isn't close at hand. It works, but every time I do I'm thinking "shit.. there is an outlet right over there (in that picnic pavilion, under those steps, wherever). I shoulda just brought the nano!". I even picked up a power inverter for the car to use tailgating or when camping. For me to even THINK about going to the car to vape while camping, and walking away from the fire while doing it, ought to tell you a lot.

There's just a difference between useful info about a manufacturer and the products they sell ,the way they ship, c/s ect. Then to repeatedly complain over and over about the same issue. What are we going to do to help.We understood the first post no need for 14 of the same crap.JMO
To my defense here I am sitting in hotel awaiting my app at the mayo clinic possible open heart surgery and he's complaining about a wrong gong I don't know what the fuck ever!!!!

Okay.... @Cereal_MF and @biohacker

The last post of the previous page is me telling this member to stop posting about this situation until something is resolved one way or the other. And now the two of you are going to continue the conversation? And what makes it even worse is that the member is banned currently for a different infraction and cannot respond which means he will come back and start this all over again to respond to you.

Enough.

Can we please move on????

Oh no you guys did not!!!

@flotntoke I am not stopping any member from voicing a problem with a manufacturer or product. However, as @Melting Pot replied, this cannot be done over and over again. It's against the rules.

Now... I am in a bad mood and have my whip handy. I don't want this issue discussed further. I mean it. If anyone has anything further to say contact me, or each other, privately. Otherwise? It's spanking time... :whip:

I love my Nanos!!!

Welcome back @ACE OF VAPE hope u had a good trip. I see you did an interior light nano. You didn't get back to me in the pm, no biggie I know ur busy plus I'm in no rush. So is that an option for a custom or is it too much of a hassle?
uh oh I think a chechen burl is burning a hole in somebody's pocket. Lol

What is this internal light talk.
Does Andy just move the external light inside? Sounds neat. What does everyone think.

That's awesome I don't know how I missed it. I was probably totally vaked and liked it and don't remember. Lol
I just came up with the new idea though I think I'm going to ask andy to make my next nano a little bit bigger so you can maybe recess the aluminum bottom plate.
Like a1/4 in.bigger around and mayb 1/8 in. taller .

F'ed that pic up.

Yes, the light is just moved inside the aluminum tube, so there will be no light in the wood. It is an option that I am considering. They would take a little longer to produce and be a little more expensive. Gives a cool blue glow to the heater port which may mislead people into believing the port is cool.

If/when that is available I'm first in line! Haha. It just looks so damn cool. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
